  My Dream Wedding

  Everything about having my wedding at the Catawba Island Club was a dream. It was the most beautiful venue and I couldn’t have done it without Heather. They have an amazing team that really know what they’re doing. And the food is amazing!!! And the views!! If you want to have a dream wedding, have it here!

  Best venue choice by far

  This place has everything you need from a gorgeous lake front view to the reception and small hotel all within a few steps of each other. They went above and beyond In everything they did. They made everything go so easy on the day of our wedding. The communication with them was easy and they responded quickly with everything. I would recommend this place to everyone!

  Having our wedding at Catawba Island Club was the best choice we could have made. Everything was perfect. Heather is great to work with and is very knowledgeable. Always responds within a couple days to any questions or plans for your wedding. You can tell she’s been doing weddings for a long time and she really cares how your day goes over. The scenery was beautiful and we had a gorgeous sunset over the lake the night of our wedding. Thank you CIC for making my wedding dreams come true!

  CIC is an absolutely beautiful place to get married and have a reception! Right off of Lake Erie, good food, and good service! So worth it! Ginger and Mike are great to work with - they are so flexible and just know how to coordinate a great day for you! Everything about our wedding was perfect thanks to CIC! I would definitely recommend this venue to other couples - you will not be disappointed!

  We had our wedding reception at CIC. The food and service was amazing! The location and price is unbeatable. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to host a wedding or formal event! Also, they are extremely flexible with requests and make unique ideas like specific drinks and food very easy to coordinate.

  I consider myself lucky that we were able to have the wedding and ceremony at the CiC. Mike and Ginger were patient and thorough with me and my family throughout the wedding process and had great attention to detail. The planning process was stressful for me and Mike and Ginger were very helpful and thorough. Everyone loved the food and the venue is beautiful and fun. We came in from the Akron/Cleveland area to have our wedding at the CiC, I was not looking for my perfect wedding... but I definitely got it! The staff is dedicated and friendly... they know weddings!

  Our wedding reception at Catawba Island Club will forever be one of the most memorable nights of our lives. The staff made sure our night went flawless and was professional from beginning until the end. Our wedding planner at CIC, Heather, truly made our planning experience enjoyable. Heather has developed incredibly well-thought out planning sheets that make it nearly effortless to coordinate every detail from our end. She, and her staff, were responsive and willing to help out in whatever way we needed. I would recommend the ceremony space and wedding crew to anyone looking to have a wedding in the Port Clinton area.

  There is no other place we would rather have had our wedding and reception than Catawba Island Club. The view was breathtaking, the food was delicious, the tent was gorgeous. Everything we envisioned for our day happened, it just took a little work.
  
  We would recommend Catawba Island Club to anyone, just with a warning that the wedding coordinator can sometimes be difficult to work with. We had a difficult time setting up meetings with him to discuss details of the day. Whenever we made changes, he acted like it was difficult and sometimes had to be reminded of the changes. Our biggest challenge was setting up a rehearsal. There was a wedding there the day before ours, we constantly had to call to get a time and location to rehearse for our Saturday wedding.
  
  We are beyond thrilled with how everything turned out for our wedding at CIC. The day was perfect and 100% worth the meetings to make everything the way we wanted it.
