  Perfect team

  I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about this team. Harmony was our point of contact and she was EXTREMELY professional. Our guest loved the food, service, rentals and professionalism of the entire team. The team was also very considerate and wore masks to help keep everyone safe at the event. They didn't overlook one detail and we will ABSOLUTELY work with them in the future. Best caterers in the business. Thank you all for making the wedding so special.

  Our wedding was on October 27th 2017 and we worked with Ruth. We had a 7 course Asian influenced dinner and everything was perfect. Ruth gave so much attention to the details of our dinner. We requested certain ingredients to be used and certain brands. We also gave them one of our family recipes to make. They did a beautiful job with everything. The flavors were delicious and presentation was elegant. Such an amazing team!

  We recently had our wedding reception at Catering By Liz. It was awesome! I have had so many guests tell me this was one of the best weddings they've been to. From the food, décor, and staff, everything was amazing. I worked mainly with Elaine on organizing the event, who was great. Any idea we brought to her, she did her best to make it happen. I would absolutely look into this venue again for any even we would like to host.

  I recently renewed our vows. Not Only did we acquire their catering service, we also went ahead and rented their reception hall. The team who handled my event was exceptional, personable and professional. Kudos to Elaine for putting up with me. She was always there to help me make decisions even though I probably changed stuff on my menu 3-4 times. And was there the day of to see things thru while not feeling well. She also called after the event to make sure everything went well and that we were happy. Food was fantastic!!!! Not only did the food look aesthetically good, it tasted marvelous. I had a lot of guest talk to me about it. and thanks to them, I have discovered "Teardrop Peruvian Pepper". Now, about the crew who serve. If serving food can be considers as a form of dance, they would be it. A number of guests and I observed how they were all in sync when they served the food. Very professional and personal, remember? Jonathan took care of us and the captain made some swift changes for one of my guest, whom I didn't know didn't eat meat. If I had to celebrate anything again, I wouldn't think twice about having them take care of it all again.

  Catering by Liz is by far THE BEST. Elaine was our wedding coordinator but she did so much more than just simple coordination she went above and beyond every expectation we had! The food for our wedding and bridal shower was PHENOMENAL and everyone we interacted with in the company was so amazing and professional. Our wedding would not have happened without Catering by Ali's and we are SO thankful. Everyone at our wedding said it was the best wedding food they had ever had.

  Catering By Liz made one of our top three requirements of GOOD FOOD for our wedding! The staff and team was GREAT to work with from planning to the event- professional, helpful, accomodating! Everyone made comment on how tasty everything was and the presentation. The serving staff was friendly and helpful (finding us a few safety pins throughout the evening!) the QUALITY, SERVICE, TASTE and PRICE were nothing less than 5 stars!

  Liz and her team of professionals provided the food for the entire weekend of events. We were pleased with everything! The staff was led by Gina and Keith who are amazing and the servers were very professional. The food was so delicious and fabulous that my guests are still talking about it three weeks later. I loved all the attention to detail to make my son's theme come alive. The menu was just perfect. I would highly recommend Catering by Liz to everyone. I would certainly use them again for my next event!

  We had Catering by Liz Grenamyer for my daughter, Bailie's wedding. How incredible!!! There wasn't one person at the wedding who didn't love the food. Liz was over the top from setting up the tables, to the appetizers, to the dinner. The picture is shrimp and grits appetizer. Fabulous!! Thanks Liz

  Unbelievable. That is what our food was. My husband and I are both huge foodies so it would only make sense that this is the first thing we booked after getting engaged. Catering by Liz, by far had the best food we tasted during our search and were able to accommodate our vision. During the planning process, Harmony was very responsive and they were very good about accommodating my husband's food allergies. The day of the wedding, they were amazing. The service was excellent (and this is coming from someone who is very picky about service). The servers and bartender were so polite and attentive and the kitchen staff was amazing too. The passed hors d'oeuvres were amazing and they were able to get out 70 meals for a sit down dinner with a complicated menu in a very short time and the food was exactly how we remembered it...delicious. Family and guests are still complimenting us on awesome the food was.

  Catering by Liz was spectacular! Our food was absolutely delicious and our guests could not stop talking about it. I literally cannot count how many people have told us "it's the best food they have ever had at a wedding!" My husband still says it's the best beef tenderloin he has ever had.
  
  The staff was very easy to work with. Everyone was always ready to answer my questions, concerns, and all of my last minute requests. The were very responsive to all of my phone calls and emails.
  
  The waitstaff on the day of the wedding was extremely professional and helpful. They did a spectacular job and made sure the cocktail hour and dinner ran smoothly, which was a 150 person sit down dinner.

They even took a family recipe for the groom's cake and perfected it. It is a great feeling when people are still calling to tell us how much they enjoyed the food. It is rare for people to rave about wedding food. The service was exceptional. The tasting we ahead well represented the food served on the wedding day. My husband was concerned we would have a great tasting, and then when mass produced on the wedding day, not satisfy. But he was wrong! They gave us a basket at the end of the night with all of the food served. It was a nice midnight snack when we got to our room. Thank you Liz and staff!!

We were looking to really offer our wedding guests an experience (not just average wedding food) and Catering By Liz did just that. I cannot tell you how many compliments we got from our guests and our other vendors on the food!! (When was the last time you ever complimented someone on their wedding food?) The presentation, the quality, the staff were all marvelous. The entire team there was so easy to work with and ensured that we really enjoyed the entire process of selecting our food. We were able to work with them to create a very personalized menu for our guests that had everyone going back for seconds and thirds during the Reception. This firm is worth every penny!!

I recommend this venue and catering services to everyone I talk to. PERFECTION!!!

I'd booked them by the time we were able to taste the food (planning from out of town) but when we did we were thrilled. The wedding was in my parents' home, and by the time the night was over the kitchen was spotless, I even caught one of the staff wiping the floors! The bartender they provided was also fantastic. The staff were really great, even watched one of the kids asleep on the sofa when we were all out for the ceremony, which was so sweet. And, we had leftovers enough to have a small party the day after. The 'basket' they prepared for me and the groom was much appreciated (actually we just ate it tonight, still delish).

  Liz and her staff LOVE what they do and it shows! Catering by Liz has a wide array of items to choose from and she works with you to customize the menu and the food, including drink and dessert stations. I had never planned a wedding before and Liz and her staff were more than helpful. They made great suggestions for the buffet layout so it wouldn't be the traditional long queue of guests, plus she suggested an AMAZING potato bar. My guests are still raving about it!!! To top it all off, I had Catering by Liz create a dessert table with a few wedding cakes rather than the traditional one big cake.   Catering By Liz was wonderful to work with- their staff and their food exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend them to any bride looking for a caterer in Jacksonville or the surrounding area. Can't say enough about them! We worked personally with Anastasia at Catering by Liz- she did a wonderful job and was easily accessible, which is important in those final weeks.

  Catering by Liz provided delicious food for our wedding! All of our guests loved it! The staff was even nice enough to bring some Hors d'oeuvres to us while we took photos outside before our grand entrance to the venue, it was like they read our minds because we were starving! The ONLY downfall is it is VERY expensive. We calculated in the beginning upon meeting with them a budget and felt the prices that were given to us followed it well. Until it started to get closer to the date and the extra things started to get added on that we were not aware of in the beginning. We were not aware of certain things that were required in catering, especially since this was our first time having to deal with hiring a caterer. We really were disappointed in the end with being forced to pay more than what we had budgeted for because certain things were not brought to out attention by Catering by Liz. My advice to everyone is to please make sure you ask a lot of questions ahead of time and make sure that they tell you exactly what will have to be required the day of the wedding. That way there will be no sudden hidden charges!
