  Yeah, Catherine is the best. Our wedding photos are wonderful and definitely the best money we spent. The pictures are so unique and beautiful-- there's just something about the way she shoots on film-- and she has a great way of making you feel relaxed on such a chaotic day. We are grateful to have found her and she's continued to be in our lives as the photographer we always ask to take our family photos. I can't recommend her highly enough.

  Catherine Abegg at Calima Portraits is the best! We held our wedding on two different days, having the ceremony at the courthouse on a weekday and the reception at a music venue in Ballard on the weekend. Catherine was extermely flexible and came to both events. Her photos are amazing and unique, and she's so much fun to work with!

  Amazing, amazing, amazing!! Thanks so much for being our wedding photographer. I truly enjoyed our shoot on Saturday and can tell the photos will blow my mind. The sneak peak was awesome! This was such an important element of our wedding and I feel so fortunate that we were able to enjoy your craft and experience your talent.

  Catherine is not only an amazing photographer, but she is also an incredible person! She made all of my family and friends feel at ease and by the end of the day she felt like a part of the family. What am I saying?! She felt like family immediately! She returned our proofs within 2 weeks of our wedding and the photos are incredible. I cried looking thru them; I was so moved. Thank you Catherine and Michael for all your hard work, for helping to make our day so very special and for giving us your beautiful photos to remember it forever. We love you!!!   We were lucky enough to find Catherine just two weeks before our wedding. With the help of a quick google search, we singled out CALIMA Portraits from ten other photographers within a matter of minutes. We knew we HAD to have Catherine capture our day. Her work is breathtaking and fresh, much like her Catherine herself!   I absolutely cannot say enough about how great Catherine is. Not only are her prices totally reasonable, but she is an unquestionably talented person. My husband usually gives these really cheesy smiles for pictures, but Catherine was able to get him to give his real smile for both our engagement session and throughout our whole wedding day! She's fun and relaxed, and her finished products are absolutely beautiful. Our wedding pictures ended up being artistic and beautiful without being totally over-the-top artsy. She was such a pleasure to work with...I hope to be able to use her again for portraits someday!! :)

  I don't think we could have asked for more out of a single photographer. She's so easy to get along with and takes the time to listen to what your are looking for. The staged photos went by so fast and easy. You don't see her very much at the reception but you don't have to worry. She captured every special moment of us and our guests. You won't be disapointed.

My husband and I are both so pleased with the photos Cathrine produced for us! They are the perfect momento! It is a wonderful thing when the images I have in my mind where caught so gracefully by her, so that I may share them with family and friends for a lifetime!! Cathrine is the only choice when it comes to wedding photos!!

  Catherine is quite amazing... She manages to capture the intimacy of the moment in her photos. We met her at a wedding show and loved the feel of her photography. She kept everything really laid back and really listened to what we wanted and more importantly what we didn't want in our pictures. She did our engagement photos for us, which turned out beautifully. When it came to our wedding day, she was fun, focused, and helped more than I could have imagined. There's just nothing awful to say about her. She even had my husband dip me and we kissed, which I wasn't too sure about, but it turned out to be one of my absolute favorite pictures. We have already recommended her to everyone and will continue to do so. We made sure my sister did her family photos with Catherine because she is so great. We are looking forward to do our own family photos with her in the future ;)

  Catherine is AMAZING! She photographed my daughter's wedding and we absolutely loved the pictures that she took. I don't think you could find a better value for your money, for any amount of money for that matter. She is completely professional but fits into the wedding like she is part of your family. She even pitched in to help decorate our reception hall! She has a very calm and soothing personality which served us well on such a hectic day. Since that day she has done two more photoshoots for us and I have been equally as thrilled with those photos. Catherine is so talented, I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

  One thing my husband and I wanted was to remember our wedding day for the way it actually was. Rain or shine, we wanted it captured in our pictures. Beautiful pictures of our family and friends enjoying our wedding. I felt like the most beautiful woman in the world on my wedding day and she captured that feeling in every photo. The beautiful wedding album she made for us makes me smile every time I look at them.
