  The perfect dress :D

  Catherine Simms was my fairy tale come true! I went dress shopping at 3 locations after I did research. We made an appointment and picked out up to 7-10 dresses that were all in my size!! (dress size 20) The first one I tried on ended up being "the dress". My mom, sister, and mother-in-law all teared up as I stepped onto the platform and first saw my dress. Completely stunning but original (one that I did not see online with David's Bridal or other local shops). It was a perfect fit and meant to be. I was able to call and schedule another fitting for my grandparents to see the dress before the big day-my grandpa still tells me that was the best memory he has of our wedding. So accommodating, very insightful with their dresses, and so nice! I'm so glad I found this bridal shop and thank you for making a tomboy at heart finally feel like a genuine princess!!

  Great selection!

  I absolutely love this store! The selection is very unique and it has a cute boutique feel. The staff is knowledgeable and the seamstress is talented. We also got our bridesmaids dresses here, which were beautiful. Everything was very fairly priced would definitely recommend!

  My consultant/stylist (Jessica, I think?) there was amazing! She was so nice and she was the only one working on that busy day, but it didn’t feel like I was ignored or anything. She had two of us trying on dresses and she was very attentive to the both of us (although I can't speak for the other bride)! They do have a smaller selection, but many pretty ones. Overall, amazing amazing customer service!!!

  Karen, the owner of this shop, made me feel like family and was so helpful through the whole process. I went to numerous shops before this and started to get discouraged that I would not find the lace that I had in mind. The first dress that Karen and I pulled from the rack, was the first one I tried on and I immediately fell in love with it. The women who does alterations at this location is just as special, my dress fit beautifully. I highly recommend going to this shop for your wedding dress, you won't be disappointed!!!!   Sandy and the staff at Catherine Simm's Bridal were so helpful and nice. Sandy helped me find the wedding dress of my dreams and everything went so smoothly there. We did not have one single conflict. This was the perfect place to go, they have such a beautiful selection of dresses and are so nice!

  I was looking for a specific David Tutera wedding dress and I could not find it anywhere in the Chicagoland area. Louise called the designer, found out it was in the truck show, shipped the dress there so I could try it on and they shipped it back to the trunk show for me at no charge. This place is more like a bridal boutique without the over priced dresses. I highly recommend this place. They do not have a huge selection but they will help you get any dress you like if you aren't happy with their selection. The tailor Violet is also VERY good. My strapless dress was the perfect fit. I would recommend this place to everyone!

  Catherine Simms Bridal saved me. I am a plus sized bride and it is very hard to find anything in sample sizes that fit me. I kept getting the same song and dance from every other bridal shop. "We can order it in your size if you like it, but we don't have a sample for you to try on." How on earth is a woman to buy a dress this important and this expensive without trying it on!?!
  
  I walked into Catherine Simms Bridal to look at bridesmaids dresses because they had the designer that I wanted. When I came in I saw a gorgeous romantic dress that was exactly what I was looking for AND they had it in a sample size that I could try on even better the price on the dress was the right price not the oh we will have to add to it because it is a plus size.
  
  We got both the bridesmaid and my bridal gown from them. Sandy was amazing she always had time for me even when I just wanted to stop in to try it on just to make sure I still loved it. When it came time for my fitting I had lost a lot of weight but they were able to bring it in and make it fit like a glove. It looked like it had been custom made just for me. I can't wait until my photos are ready so I can share them with Catherine Simms to show them how great it turned out! I would highly recommend Catherine Simms Bridal.

  I had to get a new dress after my first dressed was ruined. They were great worked with my father (brides dad) and myself and helped us find just the most perfect dress. Very reasonable with the prices and are well worth the money to get to them.

  The staff at Catherines was amazing. They listened to what I was looking for as a bride and worked with the entire bridal party and my parents to help make everything just perfect. Very reasonably priced.

  LOVED working with them for my dress. I found my dress in another shop but heard horrible reviews about the ordering process there so found Catherine Simms and I was thrilled. Everyone was so helpful and nice. My dress came in right when it was supposed to and alterations were perfect.

The dress arrived far ahead of schedule, the alterations were done exactly as promised resulting in a perfect fit the first time. The price was comparable to the 'big box' bridal stores down the road but the service was far superior. I've heard many horror stories of dress mishaps but we never had one single problem, not one minute of worry or stress.

  I am not a tiny person and shopping for a wedding dress was nerve racking. Jessica made me feel so comfortable. She helps you into the dress which makes you look and feel amazing. Many places will let you fend for yourself and it is very deflating for your self esteem.
  I chose a very low cut dress but the tailor was able to fashion a seamless piece of lace to make the dress more flattering, and no could even tell it was "after market" neckline. PERFECT! Also, great selection of wedding and bridesmaid dresses.

I was the first one to try on my dress (and they called me when they got it in the store in my size), and I ordered it that day. They kept on top of appointments, and were so helpful in choosing, and accessorizing. When I lost 40+ lbs before my wedding, their wonderful tailor took in a lot of my dress, and made it look just like it came that way. I work until late, two hours from their shop, and they made it so I was able to get a later appointment on a day convenient for me. They were prompt, not overpriced, and wonderful, wonderful ladies to work with. I love independent shops, and this one just continued to impress me.

  I love Catherine Simms Bridal! My bridesmaids purchased their Bill Levkoff dresses there for my wedding in September 2011, and we all had a great experience. I originally went in by myself to look at dresses for my bridesmaids, and the salesperson Jessica was extremely friendly, gave honest me honest opinions and suggestions, and even helped me find the bridesmaid dress that I saw online and thought would be perfect, which ended up being the dress we chose. I called about 6 or 7 other bridal shops to compare prices, and Catherine Simms had the best price by at least $30 (even more at some shops) for this bridesmaid dress. Jessica was great through the ordering and alterations processes, and she always made me feel welcome when I stopped in the shop with questions or concerns. The dresses turned out beautifully, and my bridesmaids looked wonderful on the wedding day. Definitely visit Catherine Simms if you are looking for a wedding gown or bridesmaid dresses - it is a wonderful shop with a nice selection, friendly salespeople and great prices!

  I love Catherine Simms Bridal! My bridesmaids purchased their Bill Levkoff dresses there for my wedding in September 2011, and we all had a great experience. I originally went in by myself to look at dresses for my bridesmaids, and the salesperson Jessica was extremely friendly, gave honest me honest opinions and suggestions, and even helped me find the bridesmaid dress that I saw online and thought would be perfect, which ended up being the dress we chose.   Catherine Simm's was fantastic! They kept my dress as I didn't have any place to hide it in my house and let me come in and try it on whenever I wanted!! They have sooo many different designs and styles. My dress was perfect and I am so happy I bought it from a boutique rather than a chain.

This was our last stop of 3 salons (in one day) and it was just perfect. The assortment of dresses is large for a small store and they were very aware of sizing. It was the first place where I could fit into each of the dresses and zip them up. They cater to everyday, average sized brides - most dresses were a 10 or 12. It's a breath of fresh air from the designer salons that only carry size 6. I found THE dress and loved it so much!
  
  I did my alterations through this salon and the quality and value were great - timing was also fantastic - everything was done in a week.
  
  Although we didn't get bridal party dresses here they do have a big selection of brands and I would reccomend making this your one-stop destination for all the girls dresses.

  After having not so great experiences dress shopping and knowing I didn't want to go to a chain store like David's Bridal I was starting to lose hope till I ran across this awesome store! I didnt even make an appointment and they welcomed me in like I had! I have nothing but good things to say about them and they were so helpful and great with everything! I even needed a dress faster than usual, we moved our date up 6 months, and they were able to do that with a designer dress no problem and even had time for alterations!! Alterations were kinda expensive though because I didnt need alot done but still felt they were pricey for what was altered but other than that the whole experience was so awesome and the staff really makes you feel like your wedding is special!! I even found the dress for a cheaper price at a different store and they matched it!! I knew I wanted to buy from them, they very much deserved my sale and made wedding planning easier!!
