  Best Officiant Ever

  We cannot recommend Catriona enough. From our first email, phone call and our meetings and everything in between she was welcoming warm and attentive to details. Catriona made sure that we were prepared in every aspect of our ceremony down to our custom vows and our quiach (and what to fill it with) 😊. Our guests were touched and impressed by the unique Scottish ceremony. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is a wonderful officiant and person.

  Warm-hearted, sweet, caring person

  We appreciated her warm heart and being open to creating a beautiful ceremony that combined each of our heritages (Scottish/Jewish). Not only did she meet in person to get to know us, she made herself available for a rehearsal of the entire ceremony since we needed it timed perfectly. Highly recommended!

  Catriona is experienced, personal and professional. She made the whole process so easy and she was inspirational in helping us create a memorable ceremony. The Handfasting ritual was a beautiful touch. She provides much more value than her modest fee.

  Such a special experience

  I had a perfect experience with this ceremony. My girlfriend and I did a hand fastening 2 years ago at a highland festival. Last year my girlfriend couldn’t make it to the festival, but I was still able to get another cord so we could do the hand fastening again. I can’t recommend this enough. Everything about the experience was so special!

  Warm, Personal & Heartfelt Vow Renewal

  We met Catriona at a Scottish Festival. We wanted to renew our vows since it was our 40th anniversary. She was genuinely excited for us and made her service was very warm and personable. It was meaningful for both of us. The handfasting was a perfect touch. I would recommend her to anyone.

  Handfasting and hen party - fantastic!

  Catriona arranged the” hen party” and officiated at our Handfasting. It was amazing!
  From John (the groom): It was fun jumping over the fire, and amazing to see how the “hens” dressed up my wife-to-be. It was great having friends and relatives join together in such a festive atmosphere. Performing an age-old ceremony gave meaning and authenticity to this wonderful event.
  From Meg (the bride): Our hen party and hand-fasting were a tremendous amount of fun for everyone. Catriona thought of every detail and it was perfect! Magical, memorable, meaningful, fantastic icebreaker, perfect combination of ancient and modern. I still get goosebumps remembering us jumping the fire and being hand-fasted! I can’t help feeling that my Scottish granny and great-auntie were there in spirit, smiling in the firelight. Unforgettable. We are still happily married many years later!! Many thanks!

  Small beach wedding, with a Scottish twist

  Catriona was amazing, and she made our ceremony so special! We asked her to preside over a traditional Scottish handfasting ceremony for our small wedding at the beach. Catriona was a great communicator and quick to respond to our messages. She met with us for a rehearsal a couple days prior to the ceremony, which was very helpful, and tailored the specifics of the ceremony to our wants/needs. She was truly delight to work with, the whole family adored her, and the ceremony itself was unique and fun. Very happy she officiated our big day - cannot recommend her more highly!
