    A Destination Coordinator!

    As a Type-A person, I felt confident I wouldn’t need a coordinator for our wedding. It would be filled with close friends and family who would all be willing to chip in the day of to get things done, and I didn’t want outsiders there changing the atmosphere anyways. As it got closer to the wedding, I heard a wonderful quote: “Your wedding is as special for your friends and family as it is for you. If you don’t take care of things during the day of the wedding, they will spend it taking care of things rather than enjoying/celebrating you in your marriage.” That quote hit home, and I knew it was time to call in help.

    Cause We Can Events’ Instagram and website speaks to the beauty of their weddings, but it doesn’t highlight how great they are to work with. From the beginning, Jessica heard the vision we had for our wedding and figured out how to make it happen. I was worried that a coordinator would mean extra expenses as we tried to match the Instagram-perfect wedding, but instead she helped us figure out how to create the wedding that fit within our idea and financial limitations.

    Jessica helped us end the party an hour early when everyone was too tired (I swear it wasn’t lame, just a long day), made a good effort to balance handling decisions versus asking our preference, and managed the waiters/set-up excellently. My husband was most amazed when Jessica and her assistant had already made/started passing out coffee when he realized we needed to sober some guests up as they prepared for the bus to the hotel. Cause We Can was fantastic, and I would recommend them to anyone planning a destination wedding!

    Please, brides/grooms, do yourself a favor and hire this amazing team.

    Gabby + her team were a phenomenal addition to our wedding at Under Canvas in Zion. We booked her for day-of wedding planning, but in reality she was with us since the day we booked her. She held my hand through the pressing questions a new bride has no business knowing, let me vent about my overbearing family, and took the time to listen and solve problems with me. Exactly one month before our big day (though she was hired as a day-of coordinator, she generously worked for the entire upcoming month), she contacted me to get the nitty-gritty details and ran with them. As laid back as I am, I found that I just couldn’t do it all myself, and a tiny hint of Bridezilla encroached my happy/excited mood. However, Gabby was there to ease my troubles, call the DJ, make sure there was ice, literally build our altar, and do 1000 other little things I would have forgotten. Up at the crack of dawn, she spent my wedding day corralling guests, keeping everyone dry, bringing me coffee (and whiskey), and answering all the questions my stepmom had (and she had a lot), and generally being a cheerleader for me and my husband. And beyond that, she somehow feels both like a sweet and lovely friend and a total boss who knows what she’s doing.

    I cannot recommend Cause We Can Events enough, they truly will make your day something magical.

    Gabby is amazing. She is SO responsive and I knew instantly that I could trust her with everything and not worry one bit. She is also a ball of sunshine. I would highly recommend her!!

    Gabby is the best, she made sure every detail was taken care of while being so calm and collected. She made everyone feel at ease and confident that everything would go to plan.

    I just cant say enough about how wonderful Gabby was! I was planning my wedding from Vietnam, but I am from Canada and we were getting married in the US so needless to say I really needed the help. I found Gabby by chance but I am so glad I did, she kept me calm when our original venue pulled out and we had to scramble to find a new one, she put me up in LA when I came for a quick trip to visit vendors and she made everything run seamlessly on the day of our wedding. Because I am not local to the LA area she was a godsend connecting me with vendors and I was so happy with everyone she recommended. She has a great eye for detail and my wedding was exactly as I imagined it and I certainly could not have done it without her help! She is also just a lovely person and so great to work with, I would highly recommend her!

    My husband & I married in June 2017. Our wedding was an all day event. Our first ceremony was a Hindu wedding at South Coast Botanic Gardens starting at 1pm. Second ceremony (non-denominational) and reception was at Pointe Vicente Interpretive Center from 5 - 10pm. It was an intimidating day to plan to say the least.

    I was originally interested in hiring Gabby due to her experience at South Coast Botanic Garden. Upon first meeting her in January, I felt an immediate connection to her & a sense of confidence in her experience,. I chose the "Month of" package, but she was always available for questions, answers, recommendations & support throughout the months leading up. In fact, my husband and I went on an international trip during a critical planning phase (it was my brother's wedding), and while I was away, she connected with multiple vendors on my behalf in order to keep the process going. This was extremely helpful during such a busy time.

    Throughout planning, Gabby gave excellent recommendations for vendors & general flow of events. I ended up using many of her vendor recs who were all outstanding, and her timeline recs were very helpful.

    But where Gabby shined the most for me was the day of. She is literally worth EVERY PENNY. I never thought once about where to be or go, nor did I have to interface with any vendor to ensure things were going as planned. My wedding truly was seamless and I have the guest compliments to back it up.

    Your wedding should be the best day of your life and mine truly was with many thanks to Gabby & her team. I could not have done it without her & I will forever be grateful. As evidence of her good work, a couple who attended my wedding interviewed multiple planners and ended up choosing Gabby for their wedding next year! I can't wait to see her again and thank her in person once more. She is everything and more. Thank you, Gabby!

    This review is very long overdue, considering my Santa Barbara wedding was in July 2016. But, better late than never!

    Where I do even start in reviewing my experience with Gabby.....maybe by saying that hiring her as a Month-Of Coordinator was the best decision we made for our wedding day. Both my husband and I were both nervous about hiring a coordinator, and me especially since I have a very "Type A" personality and was afraid to hand things off, haha. You always want to make sure that the vision you have in your mind translates exactly to the person coordinating, and with Gabby that was EXACTLY the case. Not only was she extremely helpful through the process and had great ideas and solutions for things I was stuck on, but with her experience and pleasant & professional work ethic, she made everything absolutely perfect. On our wedding day, I never once had to think about what was going to happen next, or wondering what went wrong, or nervous that something wasn't getting done. I'm not really sure how this is possible but there wasn't a single hiccup in the day or anything I would have changed about it because it turned out to be exactly what I envisioned. Everything went so smoothly from start to finish. I have been in weddings where a coordinator was involved but things were not going well even with them present day-of, or they were just not organized enough, and Gabby was so far from that. She was on top of everything and made sure that the only thing we had to do that day was enjoy each other....and our 110 guests of family and friends. Thank you again, Gabby, for making mine & Andrew's wedding day what it was. We will always be grateful to you for helping make that memory so special for us.

    What would we have done without Gabby?? I’m a wedding photographer so I had some very specific ideas for our wedding and none of them were traditional. We knew we needed a wedding planner who could handle the challenge. I’ve known Gabby for years and her organized-OCD-yet-yogi-calm-cheery attitude was exactly the vibe we needed for our wedding weekend so choosing her as our wedding planner was a no-brainer. We planned a three-day music festival style, glamping wedding out in the middle of the desert in Moab, Utah with 3 bands, 2 DJs, a coffee truck, a breakfast burrito truck, catering for 3 full dinners, a silent disco, laser tag, national park adventures, two yoga classes, a snack tent and of course multiple photoshoots throughout the weekend. We definitely put Gabby through the ringer with our over the top ideas and she handled it all like a champ. Gabby helped us throughout the year long planning process with communicating with vendors across 3 states. She helped create endless dreamcatchers, table runners, and helped us through multiple strategic planning sessions. They lead the setup at the venue which was a monumental task to say the least. A couple of hours before our guests started arriving at the camp, Gabby sent me away to shower and get ready and by the time I came out to party the entire setup was complete and PERFECT! The whole weekend went off without a hitch (not something I see very often in the wedding industry!) Gabby spent all three days making sure the ice was fresh, the snack tent was stocked, all of the vendors knew where to be and when to begin, she seamlessly shifted our timeline as needed without bringing the stress to us.Everything was absolutely perfect but beyond the wedding planning aspect one of the most important things was that she kept her cool the entire time. Not once did she add stress to a situation, she had a continuous happy vibe the whole time which added to the experience in ways you can’t even imagine!

    The service was amazing! Took all the stress off our shoulders and we truly got to enjoy our wedding day! Gabby was always a ring away or an email away, we never felt alone on our journey. When it was crunch time Gabby did what she does best!

    Gabby at 'Cause We Can Events singlehandedly made my wedding happen this past November. Let me elaborate.

    We had signed on Gabby for a Month-of Coordinating package, and from the get-go she was a dream to work with. Unlike many others in the wedding biz, she didn't give us the saccharine razzle dazzle or insincere over-dramatization of our "special day." She was down-to-earth, authentic, and treated our day as something that was to be taken seriously, but not so much as if lives were at stake (it's a party, people). She had experience, amazing ideas, and rolled with any and all of our punches with the same cheerful smile from beginning to end. By the time the wedding was upon us, I was sick and tired of people asking me questions and looking to me to hold their hand to make this wedding happen... but I never felt that way with Gabby. Even if all else failed, I knew that Gabby would have things under control for us. She handled all the coordination with vendors, laid out the plan on crowd control, and I pretty much just handed her a box of décor, didn't have time to give detailed instructions and essentially told her "good luck with it!"

    To be honest, because my fiancé and I was paying for most of the wedding, we knew we'd have to prioritize/give up on certain things, and have to decide/draw lines between our must-haves and nice-to-haves. I had come to terms with the fact that I wouldn't be getting a magazine wedding, and that my wedding would definitely be "nice" but we didn't have it in our budget to be anything much more than that. But when I walked into the garden that day, I had my breath taken away.

    Gabby took my mish mosh of DIY décor (which I knew I wanted in its individual pieces without having any idea of how it'd all come together) and materialized it into the very thing I thought I'd given up on. From the bistro lights and lantern to the menu card with a sprig of rosemary on the napkin to our sweetheart table, all of the details that made me sigh

    This review is so long overdue as our wedding was on 02/20/16. Gabby is by far the most amazing person you can ever meet!!!!! She's very accommodating, sincere, down to earth, helpful and organized. She was very open to what my husband and I had in mind and through out some ideas to consider. I felt like we bugged her so much but she always responded to us in a timely manner. I didn't have a care in the world on my wedding day. I was so happy, everyone enjoyed themselves, and the set up was amazing. Gabby was on top of everything. My husband is very particular about certain things, and he loved Gabby. The Stoudemire's love Gabby!!!!

    I've met Gabby way before being engaged. I've been following her on social media for a while before my wedding.
    Her and the team at 'Cause We Can Events helped keep us on track with the planning details, the vendors that we needed and they made sure that everything ran smoothly so we could really enjoy the day with 0% stress.

    Thanks to Gabby, our Big Sur wedding was flawless! She is super creative, responsive, organized, and professional. From the moment we began planning the big day till the last few moments of the wedding Gabby was there to advise and make sure everything went smoothly.

    Gabby's amazing creativity and craftiness will help make your vision come alive and truly create a one of kind experience that is uniquely yours. We had general ideas about what we wanted for styling, colors, etc. but needed a lot of help making decisions on many of the design elements. Gabby always knew what would work best and had great suggestions that were inline with our vision. We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned - and our guests are still talking about how beautiful her table settings were!!!

    On the day of the wedding we did not have a single worry, did not have to make last minute decisions, did not have to deal with any set up, vendor issues... you name it because Gabby was working behind the scenes to make sure everything was taken care of. This was due in no small part to her awesome planning leading up to the big day - she coordinated with all the vendors, developed a detailed day-of timeline. On our big day she made sure all the vendors were paid and managed the flow of the wedding to make sure everything ran according to schedule, all while being super calm, cool, and collected.

    Whether you're getting married or hosting another occasion, definitely hire Gabby with 'Cause We Can Events' - She's the best!!!
