    Definitely worth it

Alex was super helpful in showing all options and giving ideas of how to have the wedding. He explained the payment process well and made everything easy and simple to understand. He answered all our questions and was friendly. The venue is gorgeous and great if you have a low budget. Super happy to be having my wedding there!

This is a great place if you are having a budget wedding. We had the ceremony and reception in the courtyard and everything turned out great it was a bit breezy during the ceremony but dies off after the sun goes down. They had the fireplace and patio lights on for us. It was a very small intimate wedding and it was a lot of fun. There was 2 other events going on inside the venues halls they rent out but the noise level was never a problem. Rane was the event coordinator that worked with us and she did such a wonderful job. She made sure no one came into the courtyard during the ceremony, they did have signs around the venue but we did have some wandering people from other events but that was just them being rude. We were not rushed to get out and we were there til almost 1am! I would recommend having the ceremony in the courtyard and the reception in one of their many halls. great value for a great price, they are a bit strict with alcohol being served, only beer, wine and champagne.

My husband and I used this venue for our wedding ceremony and reception in May of 2015. We held our ceremony in the courtyard and used the mesa hall for our reception. Overall, we were very happy with how our wedding turned out. The courtyard was well-maintained and beautiful. The reception hall was completely transformed by our vendors. We took our wedding pictures on the grounds which were also incredibly well-maintained and beautiful.

As far as value goes, you can't beat this venue. It's beautiful, affordable and provides plenty of room to host a wedding. Being a community center, they have strict rules regarding alcohol. Alcohol can only be served for a maximum of 4 hours, must be served in clear plastic and can only be served/consumed in certain areas. Connie Davis, who we dealt with primarily, is very helpful and responsive. It's a good idea to meet with her early in the process so she lays out the rules. We learned some of these rules the week of our wedding, which was very stressful! In addition, make sure you check back with her regarding reserving a date/time for a wedding rehearsal. I reserved my rehearsal date three months in advance only to find on the day of my rehearsal, that an event had been scheduled at the same time! In the end, we were able to work it out with the other event (Connie and Michelle were very helpful in facilitating this), but I could've done without the stress.

I love the mesa courtyard where I had my ceremony. It was beautiful even without decor it's nice. They have a package of 700$ includes 4 hrs in the courtyard with 120 chairs n tables set up. U can add more hrs. And its Bring ur own everything food, drinks (beer, wine only.) I ended up renting the rancho hall As well which I wish I didn't, I didn't need it. Most of my guest preferred the courtyard.(its beatiful) what I hated is that my event planner changed to 3 different people in a 4 month period (yes I planned my wedding in 4 months) which was very upsetting trying to get ahold of a planner just to find out they moved offices. Or explaining everything to a new planner just to find out the first planner that I booked with explained everything wring! In the end my wedding turned out amazing!

Good for a budget but if you could afford it, go elsewhere

This place is great for a wedding with a budget. The price, the courtyard and the ball rooms are really nice but beware the staff. The person who first gave us a tour when we were interested was very nice however, when we asked if they offered a package for hanging fabric above the courtyard as we saw in other pictures of the venue; they said we would have to find our own vendor because they didn't include that which is fine. I found a vendor and put a deposit down early only to find out a couple of weeks before my wedding when asking a question my vendor wanted to know, that they don't allow any hanging. I lost my deposit on that. The person who did the final walk with us along the venue was also very kind. But the day of the wedding, we had nothing but very young and VERY rude staff all day. We had a dry wedding because we couldn't afford the permit and the bartender and all the alcohol which we were ok with. As my groomsmen and bridesmaids were setting up, they told me this young male staff kept coming up to them individually threatening to shut us down if we have any alcohol and let one of our sandbags holding our arch loose! When I first put our deposit and filed the paperwork, they said we could still have champagne for the toast only but on the day of it was a nightmare to even do that. The staff kept getting upset at again my bridal and groom party when they brought the champagne saying we went allowed when we were previously told we were! It was a battle to just allow what we were promised and the staff was completely rude the whole time. They finally barked an ok but said they would be the ones pouring it. When it was time to toast they were no where to be found and when they FINALLY graced us with their presence, they had my bridesmaids and groomsmen pour it while he watched. Then when it was time to leave and clean up my party did such an amazing job clearing out everything and cleaning the the venue up but as we did the walk-through he kept complaining about the kitchen being dirty when the equipment they were talking about we didn't even use and they had no cleaning equipment to even clean with! We had to fight to not get charged. One of my bridesmaids had also brought of one her coffee makers for when we had cake and forgot it there and when she went back they said they didn't have it and she had to go herself and found it. I give this place 2 stars because the venue and those two staff were great, but amount of shit we got from the staff on our actual wedding day was too appalling to give a good rating.
