  Rev. Leslie was so wonderful to work with!! We first met with her while interviewing officiants about 6 months prior to our wedding, and she made it an easy choice to go with her. One thing she mentioned was that she liked to personalize the ceremony by including a few lines or a personal story about the couple, and coming up with a story was something we really struggled with! It came down to the wire, but she took what we were able to come up with and helped to make our ceremony beautiful, personal, and got a few laughs, too! We got SO MUCH wonderful and positive feedback from our guests about her, which, to me, says more about her work than what I can. She made everyone feel comfortable and brought the perfect blend of seriousness and laughter to our ceremony. It was an absolute pleasure to work her!

  Leslie is a wonderful speaker and is very down to earth. She was a pleasure to work with and she certainly added to the magic of our ceremony. She's also quick to respond and has very good communication. Our wedding was on 10/18/14 and it was a bride & bride non-religious ceremony. She was flexible and open to our needs. Thank you for adding your Leslie twist. Our guests thought you did a great job. I would highly recommend her services to anyone.

  My fiancé and I were recently married in Santa Monica and Leslie was our officiant. Our wedding was, overall, amazing and that was in part due to Leslie. Leslie listened to all of our wishes and met with us on several occasions before the wedding to ensure the ceremony was perfect. We are in a same sex relationship, so it was very important to us to get the wording just right. We sent Leslie a little known story about how we met and she re-told it beautifully on our wedding day. All in all, the ceremony was wonderful and Leslie did an amazing job. Our friends and family were wowed and commented after that the ceremony was perfect. We found Leslie through Thumb Tack and my wife and I are both so extremely happy that we used her for our wedding. We will never forget our wedding day and the beautiful ceremony created by Leslie!

  We hired Leslie to officiate our ceremony at Shade Hotel last week. She was great from start to finish! She let us completely customize the ceremony and our vows! We got many compliments from our guests about how quirky and fun the ceremony was! I would highly recommend Leslie, especially if you aren't looking for the typical run -of-the-mill ceremony!

  Leslie was our officiant for our wedding in June 2014. We found her online through
  Thumb Tack and liked what we heard. From the beginning, Leslie took time to answer questions and met with us in person to get to tell us more about herself and what she does. We really liked Leslie off the bat, because she was very personal and passionate about her work as an officiant. She had great ceremony choices for us to work with and was always happy to assist us with questions or areas we needed help in. She helped us use what she wrote as well as some ideas that we added on to create a beautiful ceremony.
  
  I am more spiritual and my husband is not and we were able to blend our ideas together nicely with Leslie's help. We loved her ideas and how she worded them. On the actual day of the wedding she took time to check in with me,the bride, and reassured me everything would go well and be great and to just enjoy the day. The ceremony was perfect and a big part was thanks to Leslie for her love and sincerity and joy. We also had a couple of spontaneous moments and Leslie just went with the flow as if everything had been practiced ahead of time. From our parents to my grandpa,everyone enjoyed her and said she did a wonderful job and really fit with us and our special day. We hands down recommend Leslie if you want someone who will help make your day personal and full of love and joy!

  Rev. Leslie was instrumental in bringing our union together in a very unique way that spoke to us as a couple and to my friends and family. We loved her caring, warmth, style and flare. She was a gift to us both and we feel genuinely blessed to have had her presiding.

  Rev. Leslie Oliver performed our wedding ceremony on October 6, 2013, which was not only spiritual but personal. I loved the fact that she was able to lighten up the mood and made our wedding ceremony extraordinary, which was a memorable experience for us and our guest.   My now husband and myself absolutely loved Leslie as our Officiant. We loved her detailed program on our love story, very romantic and uplifting. I remember being very nervous and her story telling made me smile and laugh. We knew she was the right person to marry us in front of our loved ones and we were not wrong, we made the prefect choice. She even wore a dress that matched the color of our bridesmaids! She is a wonderful person and I would definitely recommend her to any one looking for an officiant.

  My husband, David and I could not have been more delighted with our choice of wedding officiant! As a more mature couple, we had very specific ideas about what our marriage should be about. Spiritual but not religious, meaningful but fun loving, personal but profound, a tall order!
  We instantly know that Reverend Leslie meant for us!! She is so creative, has such terrific positive energy and really takes the time to get to know you as a couple and really LISTEN to what you want. She was a doll about adding in our special story and everyone at the event commented on what a touching and magical ceremony we had.
  If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't think twice about working with Reverend Leslie.

  Rev. Leslie is so wonderful I'm almost sad I get married only once! She was very accommodating to my husband and my ideas with careful suggestions guided by her experience to help our special day perfect. She was very supportive with any and all of my concerns no matter how silly or serious; how small or big, almost like a personal therapist! Her positive energy makes her very uplifting to work with and her kind heart easy to approach with ideas. She will speak her mind as she is nice, not a fool so don't think her kind words are empty words. On the day of our wedding, she put her broken pinky toe, yes BROKEN toe into heels so that she will look presentable to our guests. Now, THAT'S commitment. I plan to suggest her services to all of my friends that are going to get married. This is one super happy bride.

  We met with Leslie months before our big day. She offered loads of advice about crafting our own ceremony. She did a great job accommodating our requests and gave our wedding a relaxed and unstuffy vibe. Our main concern was that our intimate, nonreligious and very laid back day would not carry enough of a sense of ceremony, but with Leslie this was not the case at all. She provided a perfect balance of class, ceremony, and a down-to-earth aura that put everyone at ease. We had a rehearsal/run-through and liked her so much we asked her to hang out with our families for the afternoon of the big day. I recommend her highly to anyone looking for a warm, kind, intelligent and reverential officiant who is not too touchy feely, too solemn or too self righteous. She is singularly focused on providing the ceremony that you want and will work with you to achieve it. Also, she is much more affordable than other officiants we met with. Sweet, with a great smile and great sense of humor. Absolutely recommend especially if you are writing your own vows.
