    Beautiful Venue

We had our daughters wedding here recently and it was beautiful. The staff and management team are easy to work with and very helpful. I was hesitant to book at first but after meeting their team and seeing the venue in person, I quickly changed my mind. They are family owned and operated which means you work directly with the owner and his daughter when booking your event. They were always available to answer my questions and have a great team working with them.

    Vow Renewal 2021

Yesterday my husband and I had the pleasure of touring Chandon Arbors and meeting the amazing Ashlinn! The venue is beautiful, the pictures do not even come close it’s true beauty in person. We have been on the hunt for the perfect venue only to finally come across Chandon Arbors. Ashlinn took her time with us and broke down every aspect of what the venue had to offer. She was so open and down to earth. Our tour lasted almost two hours, mainly because of our ongoing conversations. My husband stepped in the groom’s suite and fell in love but once he saw the ceremony space, he told me to cancel all other tours, this was it! We are beyond excited to renew our vows here. Thank you Ashlinn for everything - you rock!!

    Life Saver!

I was originally supposed to be a NOAH bride but then they filed for bankruptcy and closed 4 months before our wedding. Talk about stressed! Then we ran across Chandon Arbors. We toured their venue and fell in love! They were kind enough to work with us to after they heard about what happened. Their venue is actually my dream venue and I can’t wait for our big day!

    Beautiful nightmare

As a former “Chandon bride” , I highly recommend not to book with this venue until the build out is complete.

My fiancé and I met with Angie Blue, the manager, in January of 2018. We had only been engaged a couple of weeks and were flexible on our date. Angie told us that the Chandon would be complete in July of 2018. She suggested a September wedding, just to have some padding . There was even another couple that was booked before us. We specifically asked her “What happens if you aren’t finished building in time?” Very reassuringly, her response was “oh that won’t happen. We aren’t allowed to do that to you” So we chose September 29, 2018 and were ecstatic. We began to plan our dream wedding and had everything in place.

Over the following months, we would periodically drive by to see the progress. We even had the opportunity to meet one of the owners, Don Hennig, face to face. He gave us a grand tour of the property and what the Chandon would be upon completion. He never hinted that things would not be finished on time.

On August 1, after calling and trying to find out a completion date so that I could schedule my bridal portraits, I received a return call from Don and his wife, Cynthia, explaining that “due to unforeseen circumstances, the Chandon would not be completed in time for our wedding “ . We were absolutely devastated. I had planned everything for the wedding and thought that, at this point, I would only need to handle dress fittings and the seating chart. They offered that if we moved the wedding to November 3rd, that we could have the venue for free and they would help pay for our guests to change flights.... or they could give us a refund and part ways .

Well, weddings just aren’t that simple. It’s very difficult to make big changes less than 60 days out. If we changed dates, that meant that some of our vendors would not be available because they had other clients. Also, we had guests arriving from 11 different states , some who had postponed surgeries to be there for us, or even just taken off from work. Also, what guarantee did we have that they would be finished by that date? NONE
And I’m sure glad that we decided to keep our original date because as of today, November 9, 2018, the Chandon remains nothing more than framework with a roof .

Expenses occurred to us due to their poor business management included: decor that I was no longer able to use because I could not find a comparable venue 60 days out that also had a garden for my dream garden wedding; one of their preferred vendors charged me 1200 dollars for a traveling fee, even though our new venue was only 6 miles away from the Chandon; and we originally chose a hotel that had a shuttle for our guests . Our new venue was out of distance for the shuttle and we had to arrange for transportation for them . All the hotels that were close to our new venue were completely booked less than 60 days out. Several of our vendors wanted to charge extra for the travel change but were kind enough to bypass that fee after we told them what happened. Last but not least, my wedding planner put in hours upon hours of overtime, redoing everything that we had planned for decor and time schedules, as I was forced to change from a garden theme wedding to a city/downtown Fort Worth wedding.

My wedding planner, whom I also chose because she was a preferred vendor, tried to advocate for my fiancé and I by explaining all of the trouble (financially and mentally) that they were imposing on us. Not only were they unsympathetic, but I also find their behavior petty. They removed her as a preferred vendor from their site for no other reason than trying to explain to them the totality of the situation.

In the beginning, I was thrilled to be a “Chandon Bride”. Thank God that I had so many wonderful vendors, an amazing planner, and of course, my prince. In the end, I had a fairytale wedding (at a different venue) but dealing with the Chandon was surely a nightmare.

    Chandon Arbors's reply:

We are currently under new management and no longer under construction. We hosted our first event on 10/03/2019. As the new manager, I sincerely apologize for your experience and hope you ended up having the wedding of your dreams. We wish you all the best!
