My cousin and I came in from out of town and toured this venue along with others in the area. Calla was very timely with responses and also accommodating to our schedule as we weren’t in town for long.
The venue was very picturesque. The chapel is stunning with plenty of natural light. Not only are the views amazing but Walter’s Estate is also accommodating to all of their brides styles. Go in with an open mind because the possibilities are endless with this venue.

Walters Weddings has been great. No complaints. Everyone I have spoken with is super friendly, cheerful, and eager to make the perfect wedding day for you. If I ever have questions, my planner Melanie, and her team along with Payton- are the absolute best. I have been working directly with Payton and she is just the best. Very attentive, eager to help and responds fast. I will always be grateful that I chose Walters Weddings!

My fiance and I will be getting married at The Chapel at Palacios in August. We are so excited and have been really looking forward to our big day! When my fiance and I began looking at wedding venues, The Chapel at Palacios really caught our attention. One of the many things we loved was the "all inclusive" aspects of the venue and their packages available. It is a one stop shop for everything you need and could dream of for a venue. They have in house vendors which really comes in handy by saving time and energy on our end. The Chapel at Palacios handles all communication with the in house vendors. All you have to do is choose what you want for certain things and they completely handle the rest. The Chapel at Palacios offers many fun interactive things to incorporate on your wedding day that you can choose from as well. We had never seen a venue that offered so much to choose from. Another thing we love about the venue is that they assign your own wedding planner for your wedding. Your planner will help you from the very start to the very end with all of the planning needed and to be there to coordinate and assist on your wedding day. Our wedding planner Payton has been the best help in every way. Anytime we have had questions, she has always been beside us answering anything we needed. Whenever we wanted to meet with Payton, she was ready to book an appointment with us to continue to guide us through this process. Payton has been a tremendous help. We are so grateful for her. Another aspect of the venue that we loved was the bridal suite and the groom suite. These two things were big things that we wanted but never saw a venue that had designated areas for that. When we saw the bridal suite and grooms suite we were blown away. It was so important to us for our bridal party to be able to have their own getting ready and lounge areas for the wedding at the venues location. We love all of the architecture, designs, and layout of the venue. It is so classy and timeless. Majority of our guest list is coming in from out of town so choosing a venue that was in the DFW metroplex was crucial for us. The venue is only 15 minutes away from DFW Airport. It is also surrounded by plenty of hotels to choose from, some that are less than 5 minutes away from the venue. The venue is only 10 minutes down the road from Southlake Town Square. This is also great for out of town guests to find a great restaurant, do some shopping, or set up the perfect rehearsal dinner. We have known other couples that also got married at The Chapel at Palacios, and we have heard the best from them. We are truly looking forward to our wedding day and are so happy we chose The Chapel at Palacios!

We decided on Chapel at Palacios due to distance from our home. We had our ceremony in December In the chapel and reception in June. Whitney was wonderful and kept us on track through the entire process on both. In fact we requested to have Whitney for our reception knowing how wonderful she was throughout the ceremony process. She always communicated and responded in a timely manner. Professionalism, attention to detail, and personality was AWESOME! I’d recommend the venue and her any time!

We’ve had the best experience with Walters Wedding Estates, especially the team at Chapel at Palacios! With such a big wedding company, I was initially nervous we wouldn’t get a personalized experience. That has not been the case for us. The team has been prompt to answer every question and they have been celebrating us the whole way!

When I started my venue search, I had a list of things I knew we wanted: glass chapel vibe, two getting ready spaces, and multiple bathroom options. I found a few places that would check one or two things off the list, but we were always sacrificing something. I had already looked at the Walters site in my original search, but I decided to look again - and I’m SO glad I did. Chapel at Palacios had been added since the first time I looked. When I realized this and looked into it, it was gorgeous and I was so hopeful it would be everything we were looking for. It turns out that it was everything and MORE! It checked all of our boxes, plus a few - the beautiful European style, the brand newness meant it would be clean and aesthetic, and the bride’s getting ready space was SHOW STOPPING. If you’re on the fence about this venue, I urge you to take a tour. It made all of our dreams come true!

Kelci and Carter’s wedding was magical. The day was perfect..the venue was fabulous..the staff was AMAZING and I couldn’t ask for a better day. Everything was GORGEOUS and executed SO WELL. Thank you, thank you for everything. We are forever grateful to all of you who made the day one we will never be able to forget. ♥️ I am sad the planning is over..I miss it and all of you precious people we worked with. Melanie, I’ve got two more girls that will marry and I hope one day we can work with you again.💕😇

Working with Payton has been a wonderful experience! Not only is she detail oriented, full of knowledge and expertise but her caring spirit lets you know you are in good hands! The grounds and accommodations are simply gorgeous and offer everything you need from private His and Her bathrooms on the main floor to suites appointed with storage, beautiful views and comfortable seating. 10 out of 10 all around!

The venue is beautiful and we had such a positive experience with the Walter’s Wedding Estates team.

Hailee C. was our wedding planner. Her communication skills are unmatched. She was always there to respond promptly to our emails. Her willingness to communicate effectively played a critical role in keeping everything on track. Planning a wedding can be a stressful process, but Hailee's patient demeanor was a calming influence. She took the time to listen to our concerns, understand our vision, and offer solutions that fit our needs. We had several custom/traditional requests and she was able to accommodate all of them. Hailee turned what could have been a stressful journey into a joyful experience.

Whitney R. was our day of coordinator and she was nothing short of amazing. From our initial meeting to our wedding day, her attention to detail was second to none. She was attentive, quick to respond to emails/texts, and extraordinarily organized. On the big day, Whitney's execution was impeccable!!!! Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment without worry. Alongside her professional demeanor, Whitney also radiated genuine warmth and friendliness, making not just us but everyone involved feel comfortable and welcome. If you're seeking a coordinator who is attentive, organized, friendly, and professional, I can't recommend Whitney highly enough!

Hailee C. has been an incredible Event Planner for our wedding at the Chapel at Palacios. She has been thoughtful, professional, and always available to answer our questions when we have them or need any help. She is honest and competent about the details and understanding when we need to make adjustments and accommodations. Hailee never pressures you with products that are out of your budget. She is also very personable and makes you feel comfortable even in the face of intimidating things you know nothing about. She asks all the questions you wouldn't even think about in order to make your day uniquely you and special. In short, she's phenomenal. We would highly recommend working with Hailee C. at Walter's Wedding Estates!

And the whole WWE experience is amazing all around. (We did the Exceptional Package which included pretty much every service/vendor we needed for the big day!)

We utilized Walter's Wedding Estates for the chapel, reception hall (upgraded food & bar package), DJ, Bakery, men's tuxedos, printer for signage & invitations, photographer, videographer, photo booth, florist, and wedding transportation for the bride & groom to their hotel in a Rolls Royce. They were professional, organized and had a wealth of first hand knowledge. The food was excellent, there were never lines at the bars and the buffet flowed quickly which we had stressed were important items to us. The wait stuff kept the tables well bussed. There were some hiccups with the tuxedos, but remedied the day of the wedding. The planning team has a lot of experience and really know their stuff. I chose not to listen to them on the guarantee and length of the reception which cost me more money than I needed to spend. (On me, not them!!) The piece of mind that the tables, china, glass, silver, linens, cake, flowers, etc were taken care of by one source was invaluable!

From booking our venue to day of our wedding could not have been more perfect! So thankful for Melanie, our planning rep for helping me with all the details of my timeline, she was incredible and amazing to work with! So grateful to Tabitha for executing the day of and my timeline, she was amazing! And to Becki, Tatiana, Whitney, and all the other staff members that bartended, served, cleaned up, etc. I cannot thank you enough and I cannot recommend this venue more! It is totally unique and the Walters packages make planning a breeze! I loved all of their in-house vendors and the food and bar was a 10/10! All my guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been too and I couldn't agree more! Thank you to everyone at Walters you were a dream!

This venue is gorgeous! Both the venue and reception spaces are spacious and elegant, and the planning team has been a breeze to work with. Our planner Payton and partner vendors have all been very responsive and easy to work with- the big day is coming up and I feel confident in the level of organization and importance the teams are putting on my wedding. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

We had an excellent experience working with Walters Wedding Estates. We chose everything to be in-house, which has taken a lot of stress off our shoulders. Our Planning Representative is fantastic and always replies back to us in a timely manner. We love working with the team that was designated for us and we look forward to having an amazing wedding day!

When we first looked into Walter’s we met with Mahogany Washington who was warm, inviting, extremely thorough and informative. She was very bright and bubbly and incredibly welcoming from the start! She made us feel that Walter’s was the best decision for us and the best place to celebrate the biggest day of our lives. She was SO good we didn’t even meet with any other wedding companies. We chose to get married at Chapel at Palacios. Once we signed our contract, we were assigned a “wedding planner” named Hailee, who was non responsive, only communicated via email and took numerous days to respond to our requests. For the amount of money we were paying them to help us plan such an important day, I knew this was not going to be a partnership that would fly with us for the next 11 months of preparing for the big day, so I requested that they pair us with someone more attentive that was capable of communicating with some sense of urgency. We were then paired with a new “wedding planner” named, Malyn who was much more responsive, communicated with us via text, and was a lot more helpful… only at first. We worked with her for a few months until she went completely MIA on us. Turned out, she took a trip out of the US for winter vacation (apparently with no one prepared to fill in for her clients during the interim) and when she returned to the US, she quit working for Walters and our planning timeline was completely forgotten about and pushed to the wayside with ZERO communication from anyone for MONTHS..As you can imagine, by this time I was furious, frustrated and had lost all hope in Walter’s. I demanded yet again, for a different planner and wasn’t settling for anything less than day of responses and someone who could get things DONE. I handled every ounce of planning and organization myself and had to stay on top of every employee involved through the entire process from this point forward in order to make sure the day would be handled with care and thank god I did. (And oh by the way, anyone that hangs their dress on the dress hook in the bridal suite, you can thank me for that one… it took me 9 months to get them to install that!) We were then paired with Payton K who really turned everything around!!! She made us feel like we were a top priority and handled every meeting and phone call with care. She responded DAY OF via email and text with answers and followed up with me before due dates. She took the very long list of things we were now behind on and helped me start crossing them off. Let me just say, Payton knows how to get SH** done!!! Thankfully, she was also assigned to us as our day of coordinator, which we are forever grateful for. SHE DOES EVERYTHING! She got my wild groups attention and got them in line for rehearsal, she made sure the whole day followed our timeline, she handled 3rd party vendor drama, brought us drinks, fixed my hair, tied a million bows for me on champagne glasses, made sure my every ask was fulfilled, she even served food to our guests! We couldn’t be more grateful for her and all her help! Without her, our day would not have been everything it was… and it was PERFECT. I know everyone says that about their wedding day, but our day truly could not have gone any better. Everyone always says to prepare for things to not go as planned (and we were) but we feel extremely grateful that we can say everything flowed smoothly just as planned, every detail and every moment of the day was PERFECTION.

Payton deserves a promotion, hands down.

She seriously does allllll! We also had Brenda helping us and she was fantastic too! Extremely helpful and sweet! We appreciate everything she and Payton organized to make every magical detail come to life.In terms of in house vendors, Jenny Layne Bakery made the most fantastic Almond Buttercream cake for us. It was beautiful and tasted even better! Our guests loved the 5 additional dessert options as well. Although our top tier did not get packaged well at the end of the evening and ended up getting smashed in its box which was devastating to see the following day because it was to die for! Cohost Entertainment assigned us DJ Jared and he was UNREAL! Highly recommend Jared! He is so much fun, extremely personable, funny, keeps guests entertained and does so much more than Dj!!! He really went above and beyond for us. He brought us drinks, stepped in anytime help was needed, and DJ’d a SOLID night! He is the best of the best! In terms of food, we were so stressed that the wedding food would flat line since wedding food is usually not much to get excited about, but we were pleasantly surprised! We chose the jalapeño bacon wrapped shrimp, walters house salad, and the duet of marinated NY strip loin and herb chicken breast with buttery mashed potatoes and broccolini! The whole course was very yummy and we felt proud to serve it to our guests! We were extremely pleased with how it turned out. DesignHaus floral was a huge let down for us. Luckily, we chose to use a third party vendor “The Grand Poppy” for majority of our floral and we are SO glad we did. We used DesignHaus only for what qualified for the $1600 “credit” that we realistically already paid for and didn’t want to lose out on. And then we used The Grand Poppy for ALL ELSE. The flowers DesignHaus brought in didn’t even compare to the flowers that The Grand Poppy brought in. They were dull, wilted and looked like they were a few days old. Not to mention the extensive service charges they tack on. I also had to ask The Grand Poppy to completely REMAKE my bridal bouquet originally made by DesignHaus on the spot because it was just.. embarrassing. CANNOT recommend The Grand Poppy enough!!!! The luxury car was a nice touch for our getaway and our driver was very sweet. Our valet service was exceptional as well! It was a very nice touch that our guests really appreciated.EmilyChappell Photo had assigned us to a photographer named Meg, who was also non responsive and impossible to schedule an intro call with, so I yet again requested someone new be assigned to us for wedding day. We were then re-assigned to Jose Negrete, who was much more attentive and extremely personable! We enjoyed our intro call with him and could tell he was really listening to all of our requests. On day of, he was extremely efficient in coordinating all of our friends and family for photos in a timely manner, which wasn’t easy to do with our wild group. We are very grateful for him and all of his efforts! He happily worked alongside our 3rd party videographer and content creator as well (we got so much more for our money using a third party videographer btw).Lynn’s Paperie, was incredibly responsive and informative and she was able to send us all of our orders very quickly! We did feel like the website was very confusing/lacking info so that made placing orders frustrating and stressful. They also changed the names of their designs while we were in the process of ordering which was super confusing when trying to place our order. Our officiant, Kyle Embry, was very personable and informative and created the most beautiful script we have ever heard. He has a great voice and his delivery really hit home. It was absolutely beautiful. There were many ups and downs, but overall our day was so incredibly perfect and we wouldn’t have changed a single thing about it. I wish the planning process would have been handled differently, but very grateful for the team of people that came together and completely turned our experience around on day of!
