    Professional Staff and Fast Delivery!

    Our family event was really a successful one! That wouldn't be possible without the help of Charlotte Party Rentals. The staff was very accommodating and professional and they really guided me on what we really want for our celebration. They delivered the items on time.     Do not use this company

    DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!
    IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS, I WOULD- THIS COMPANY FAILED AND LIED.
    We hired this company for our wedding day. We had to change our original plans due to a severe family illness, so we hired this company to set up for our wedding at a family home. Everything was good, communication was great with the Rep, Jocelyn. We ordered a tent, lights and tables. We were thrilled with the company until they set up the lights in the tent, they were NOT what we ordered and NOT what was on our signed contract. We even were given pictures on our quote of what we were getting. When I informed the delivery team, the lead guy gave me nothing but attitude and told me that was all they had. I spoke with Jocelyn; she CONFIRMED that my contract was correct and that she would fix it after talking to the manager. I waited hours, still no contact from her or the manager, Ivy. When I went back to the head delivery guy and told him that Jocelyn confirmed they were the wrong lights, he stormed off, got on his phone, and called the manager. Somehow, he got right to a manager when Jocelyn had promised me a call back from her or the manager within minutes. The two younger guys on the delivery team were VERY helpful; they saw my frustration and my wife's tears and tried to fix it. I had to call back multiple times, and each time I was told that Jocelyn was waiting on a manager. The manager, Ivy, called me the next day (my wedding day) and told me she was sorry, but she had another event yesterday and could not talk to me yesterday. What that said to me as the customer was that the other event was more important than mine!!! This company failed us. She said their website did not match what they ACTUALLY HAD IN STOCK. My wife worked extremely hard to make this event perfect for her father and for us and had every element designed. Instead of the nice, small white twinkle lights we ordered and paid for, plus the installation fee. We got three strands of bulky black bulb lighting. Again, not what we ordered or our signed contract stated. They did give us a refund for the lights and installation. However, our families’ time and money had to be spent going out the night before the wedding to get the right lights and do them ourselves, which was not fair to our families or us. We trusted this company for the most important day of our lives, and they failed. I know other reviews say how "great" this company is, but they almost ruined our event; why take the chance it could happen to your event.
