  Beautiful bridal and wedding party designs!

  Charming Henna (Priya and Avani) did an amazing job with our bridal, groom, and wedding party henna! Both Priya and Avani provided a variety of gorgeous designs. Priya was immediately responsive and came to our house to provide bridal and groom henna a couple of days before the wedding which was super convenient during a busy wedding week. She was very kind to talk to and very detailed with her designs. A couple of days later, Avani came to our welcome party and created beautiful designs for probably 30 wedding guests in a little over 3 hours. She even stayed later than initially planned because everyone wanted her beautiful work! We are so thankful for this team who made our wedding day special!

  Magnificent and Detail Oriented

  A Lovely and A great artist

  Priya did such an amazing job on my bridal mehendi!! I have never written a review for anything, but I must say, she deserves so much praise. I sent her designs ahead of time I thought looked nice, and when I got there, she asked me questions and tailored my henna to look exactly the way I wanted it. She's so very talented. She's WANTS you to love your henna and worked to incorporate the designs and patterns I liked. Very sweet personality, easy to talk to, and has a great eye for design. I can't thank her enough for going out of her way to make sure I had the best henna design for my wedding.

  Priya was very professional. She came on time and handle the whole situation very calmly. She tries to understand her client expectations and work accordingly. She is very fast with her beautiful designs. Overall she is best henna person in DMV area. I definitely recommend working with her.

  Always amazing!

  Priya did my bridal henna and all the ladies at my mehndi party (we were repeat clients, she also did the same for my sister 2 years ago at her wedding). She is responsive, does a fantastic job with the henna work, and is such a pleasure to be around!! She made the whole process easy and fun for us!

  Great experience

  Priya was amazing from the first moment I met for the henna trials (which I recommend for any bride with any artist). Priya was on time at the day of the event and was accommodating with the wedding party. She made sure I was happy with the designs that I gave her during the trial. Priya was able to bring the animated design of Gauri-Shankar to life in my palms and it made all the difference, looking at it every time brought me joy.
  With the feet, I wanted negative spaces and still have the bridal charm about it. Priya was able to do just that. Not only did she do my henna perfectly but, she did henna on about 25-30 of my guests.
  I highly recommend Priya and undoubtedly I would work with her again for future celebrations!

  Priya is incredible! It was an absolute delight getting my bridal mehndi done by Priya. Her work is insanely detailed and delicate. She was on time, very responsive and communicative sorting out the details leading to the event, and was easy to work with. She was able to recreate a very intricate look I had pinned on Pinterest for my feet and lower legs, and created a custom look for my hands and arms based on my peacock themed wedding. I was so impressed with her work that I hired her for my Sangeet too, where she spent a few hours doing mendhi for my guests, adding to the festive atmosphere. I emailed her with 3 personal things I wanted to incorporate in my bridal henna, and she arrived well prepared with designs. When I meet her for bridal consultation (which is free of cost), we discussed my custom design requirement to which she listened very patiently and also showed me plenty of examples. From there, she sent us tips on how to prepare for the henna day, with things that would help make the henna darker. My bridal henna went all the way up to my elbows, and the patterns were intricate and beautiful. It turned out gorgeous and I absolutely loved it! We are lucky to have her in town.

  Bridal henna

  Priya did my bridal mehendi, an accompanying smaller design on my husband, and small designs for a few other women in my family, all at my home. She was really great to work with, and even though I was sometimes late to get back to her, she was always prompt and clear in her communications. We had a snow day get in the way of some of our plans, and she was very kind and proactive in trying to find a way to make things work out.
  After discussing with us in advance, she came up with a unique, on-trend, and overall amazing design for me and my husband, which we both absolutely loved. We received so many compliments at the wedding, even from venue staff! Also, the quality of her mehendi is really good (organic), and I never get as dark a stain with store-bought tubes as I did with hers!
  
  I should also mention that there was some family drama going on in the background at my home the day she came over. I was mortified, and it was probably awkward for her, but Priya ignored it and remained professional the entire time, completely focused on her artwork. And that's really the kind of person you want working with you in a desi wedding.
  She's very talented, creative, and professional, and I'd definitely recommend her to others!

  You are a true henna artist!

  Priya did my mehndi/henna for my wedding in February. Her designs are precise and unique, and she has such a professional demeanor. I'm super glad that I gave her the freedom to do as she wished. I trusted her blindly because her passion really shows in her work. She also did beautiful and simple designs for 35-40 female friends and family. She is extremely affordable, and her sweet personality makes the experience so much better! The henna stain came out beautifully and it stayed on for quite a while for about 2.5 weeks until after the wedding! My dreams of having the perfect bridal mehndi became true all thanks to you Priya!

  Priya is an amazing henna artist and the one that you should be booking for your wedding! She is a very much skilled henna artist and my wedding mehendi was beautiful. Everyone who saw it was so impressed by the detail. I could easily communicate what I wanted and her design are pretty clean and beautiful. She has incredible designs and uses negative space really well to make designs that look amazing, not just when the design is complete, but days later when the stain is in full effect. That is very important because you want the Mehndi to look nice on your wedding day and not just look like a blob that makes the design hard to decipher. Her designs are all very creative as well. All of the guests at the Mehndi party loved her and enjoyed seeing her work on their hands. In end she advised regarding the keeping and cleaning of hands for longevity of color. It was totally an awesome experience. I highly recommend getting your henna done here whether it be for a wedding or any other occasion. The quality is fantastic!!

  I loved the fact that the quality of henna used is organic and brings out amazing color. Just follow her instructions and trust me you will get an amazing color and ofcourse the lovely smell of henna!
