    Pricier than other tailors but worth it

    Chayban’s (Lancaster Location) did alterations on my wedding dress and they did a fantastic job! I felt that the amount I was quoted was a bit high for the amount of work needed on my dress but decided it was worth it for it to be done right. In the end, they charged me less than what was originally quoted. Yasmine clearly knows what she’s doing. Highly recommend!

    I brought my wedding dress to them. I was super nervous about it as everyone knows a wedding is a very important event and I had procrastinated on having my dress altered. They were great! They helped calm my nerves and did such a fantastic job on the alterations. I needed the bottom of my dress shortened. They unstitched ALL of the lace and moved it up. I was blown away how fast they were able to do the job and impressed how well it was done. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would go back to them in the future.

    Perfection

    I used Chaybans in Orchard Park for my bridal gown after one of my friends made the suggestion since she had hers done through them. He tailored it exactly to my body (which being very short can be a challenge)! After he was done, it looked like the dress was made for me! Couldn’t have been more happy with the way it came out! You do pay relatively more than other vendors but I think it was 110% worth it to spend the extra money!

    i would not hesitate to come back! I need to have my twin daughters communion dresses altered. They did a beautiful, wonderful, fantastic job!!!!! The work that needed to be done, was a little more than I originally thought. The dresses have a lot of beading, you wouldn't even know anything was done. Now the dresses fit my daughters like a glove. I could NOT be any happier!!!! They are amazing!! The dresses were completed in a timely manner. If you need anything altered go here!!!

    Best tailor in Western NY.......Personable and professional atmosphere, We had a bridal and a prom dress altered and both dresses were done in a timely manor and altered perfectly.

    LOVE Chaybans! They were all so sweet and friendly. They shorted my dress a bit and changed the back from a zipper to a corset and it was absolutely perfect! They always had it done faster than I expected. They answered all of my questions and did every single tiny thing I asked for with a smile.

    Jasmine at the 4727 Transit Rd/Lancaster location was absolutely fantastic! She is very knowledgeable, and very willing to discuss several different ideas I had about how I'd like my dress altered. At my final fitting, once I had tried my dress on, Jasmine wasn't satisfied with how the bustle of my dress was laying, so she took it upon herself to readjust her work so I'd look my best on my wedding day . She also steamed and stored my gown until my wedding, at no extra charge. I can't recommend Jasmine @ Chayban's enough! She is awesome!

    I worked with Jazmine, out in the Depew location on Transit Road, and she was truly amazing. I recently got married (8/2013) and need my dress altered because I wanted an open back corset. Jazmine did an amazing job giving me exactly what I wanted. I was beyond satisfied with the job she did on my dress. It truly fit like a glove. She not only created the open back corset, but also took in the sides to give me a great hour glass figure. She made me feel so important and valued. I can't say enough about how happy I was with her awesome service!

    I got my wedding dress altered at Chaybans Alterations at the Orchard Park location and they did an amazing job on it. My dress came out perfect and the price was very reasonable. Also they were so professional with me and my mom.

    I found the dress I wanted, but did not hear the best reviews for alterations at David's Bridal. I went here, based on another review I read. It was an excellent decision! The dress had multiple layers and beading on the sides, and it had to be taken in. Everything fits great and looks fantastic! Also did one of the best jobs with the bustle I have ever seen!!! I am so excited to wear it now.

    I ordered my bridesmaid dresses & my mother's dress from Chaybans. They have a gorgeous selection of dresses. The dresses came in quickly & they kept me informed throughout the whole process. They were very flexible with us coming in for multiple fittings & they did a GORGEOUS job on all the dresses!! I have received so many compliments on them!! My girls and Mom were very comfortable all day/night and felt awesome in their dresses!!

    I also had my wedding dress altered by Chaybans. She did such an amazing job & was so great to work with. She altered the strap of my dress & length exactly as I wanted and it was pressed perfectly (even with all the layers my dress had). The bustle she put in was gorgeous & super easy for my Mom & bridal party to work with. Were were treated so nice by everyone at Chaybans & we would bring our business back to them anyday :)

    I did not hear good reviews from the tailor that works with my bridal shop so after seeing so many positive reviews about Chayban's I called and made an appointment with the Lancaster location. From the moment I met Jasmine and put on my dress I trusted that she would do an amazing job. They are true professionals, know all of their repeat customers by name, and did an amazing job on my dress, which required extensive tailoring. My dress fit absolutely perfectly, I got so many compliments on the fit. The bustle looked great, and I was not pulling the dress up or tripping on it at all!!! I would highly recommend Jasmine at Chayban's to trust with your wedding dress (or anything that needs to be tailored, for that matter!)

    Lied to, promised one thing, did another

    DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE! MY DRESS is RUINED because Elias LIED to me. We discussed how he would take in the dress and then did it the exact way I asked him NOT to do!!!

    I called a local bridal shop who recommended Elias. I called Elias and he said he could do the work but to come and see home ASAP so there would be enough time to do the alterations. He said it would take a week, he called me a few days later and said it was ready. Upon arrival for the fitting I discovered that he had done the alterations in the exact way I DID NOT WANT, after he agreed to take the fabric out of the back seam (where he took the measurements) he decided without even a courtesy phone call to me) to take it out of the sides. Now my DRESS IS EUINED. Bunchy, gappy, and the fabric has pulls in it.

    When I expressed my upset that he had not listened to my needs and wants- mind you I was willing to pay for his time and effort and had expressed in the beginning my concerns and that I DID NOT WANT him to take anything it of the sides. He agreed and then did it anyway!

    He did the exact thing I was afraid of and then told me I was rude for being displeased with his work, when all I wanted was for him to do it the right way (the way we discussed) the first time. Now it is less than a week before my brothers wedding and my alterations are not only incomplete but now it is even worse fitting than it was before!

    HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, HORRIBLE TAILORING. It’s a shame that his is a family business, one would think i went to a hound seamstress who has never done this before.

    **** This in response to the note left on my review. Elias lies to me about HOW he was going to do the alterations. I am a pattern maker and und understand construction of garments. Upon my first visit for the initial fitting I made it expressly clear that I DID NOT WANT ANY DABRIC REMOVED FROM THE SIDES. When I came in for the fitting, MATERIAL HAD BEEN TAKEN OUT OF THE SIDES! when I expressed my displeasure I was told that you could undo the work and I could go elsewhere. ELIAS REFUSED TO OO THE WORK THE CORRECT WAY, LIED ABOUT IT, and with this response you are acting as if it was just a small error. That’s BS, you outright told me that you took it OUT OF THE SIDES AND DID SO WITHOUT ANY CONSIDERATION OR CONVERSATION BEFORE DOING SO. Once something is taken in, there is no way to let it out again without damaging the material.

    ELIAS IS A LIAR AND A CHEAT. He lied to me, he is lying to you in his response below and he will cover his ass instead of apologizing for doing poor work.

    You stated “you didn’t allow us to finish what we started” THAT IS GEADE A BS. The wrong alterations were done when I went in for the fitting!!!! Already wrong. Already ruined. Already to late for you to do what I asked. You had already lied to me and gone against the original fitting and alteration agreement.

    THERE WAS NO OFFER TO CORRECT THE WORK, AND DO IT AS IT WAS MEANT TO HE DONE. THE ONLY THING THAT HAPPENED WHEN I WENT IN FOR THE FITTING WAS A REFUSAL TO DO THE WORK, AND AN ATTACK ON ME FOR CALLING HIS ATTENTION TO THAT HE DID THE EXACT ALTERATIONS I SPECIFICALLY INDICATED NOT TO DO!!!

    THAT WASNT A FITTING ISSUE- it was an alterations issue. THE DRESS IS STILL RUINED!
