  Molly did hair and makeup for my preview, as well as on location hair/makeup for me, three bridesmaids, and makeup for my mom on the day of the wedding. She does stunning work - everyone looked fresh, beautiful, and elegant. Molly is professional, courteous, talented, and a total sweetheart. I can't say enough good things about Cheek Couture, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing hair and makeup services.

  Robyn did my hair and makeup for my wedding on August 1, 2010. She was the absolute BEST person I could have ever imagined hiring for the job. She did an AMAZING job with my hair and makeup as well as my mother's hair and makeup. I felt gorgeous on my wedding day! I wanted more of a made up look and I could not even recognize myself in the mirror because I looked so beautiful after she was finished. In addition to being tremendously talented, which in my opinion you could never go with a better person in a million years than Robyn, she is also wonderful. She was able to keep her calm no matter how stressful the atmosphere got in the bridal room. She kept me calm and laughing the entire time. She is very pleasant to be around, which I think is an added bonus for someone you have to spend a good amount of time with right before you walk down the aisle. We could genuinely feel that she wanted to make you look your best and she was very receptive to any comments. She took her time and made sure everything was flawless before she left. She cares a great deal about making you happy and she takes her job very seriously.
  
  My hair and makeup remained perfect throughout the entire wedding and until the morning hours. I received countless compliments. Our pictures came out incredible! All the girls in my bridal party want to use her for their weddings.
  
  As a true testament to what you will get if you are lucky enough to have Robyn is the fact that she went well beyond her call of duty. Not only did she make me look better than I have ever looked in my entire life but she made sure that my veil was perfect (pinned it on so well that it did not budge an inch during our entire ceremony outside where we encountered some wind or during our photo session all over the venue) AND she got me into my dress! We were having trouble lacing the back of my gown and she came to the rescue! She made sure my hair, makeup, veil, and dress looked fabulous. There is nothing more anyone can even dream to ask for than that. I could not be more thankful and glad that we had her there.

  I loved my experience with Molly! From the makeup trial to the actual wedding day she made me feel comfortable and beautiful! Her easygoing and friendly personality made it seem like a close girlfriend was providing the services. My bridesmaids were happy as well, even my sister who NEVER wears makeup loved her look!

  Molly & Dottie are the sweetest girls to work with! Dottie did my makeup for my wedding and Molly helped me do my hair. I'm super picky about my hair... so I curled it and put my extentions in, and Molly helped to pull it back the way I wanted. They do an awesome job and are super helpful!

  I live in AZ, but our wedding was in Newport Beach, CA. I booked Cheek Couture (before having a preview or meeting Molly and Dottie) based on a referral, and great reviews on Project Wedding- I am so happy that I was able to have these ladies do my hair and make-up on my wedding day. They did a hair/make-up preview 2 days before my wedding, and I loved it.
  
  On the day of my wedding they did hair and make-up for me, my Mom, and my Mom-in-law; my 4 bridesmaids had their hair done, and at the last minute decided they wanted false eye lashes put on- Dottie had no problem accommodating this request. My bridesmaids and the Moms all looked gorgeous! I loved my bridal hair and make-up - I felt beautiful, and I received many compliments. My husband even teared up (which is extremely rare for him) when he saw me for the first time at the wedding ceremony and told me how incredibly beautiful I looked.
  
  Molly and Dottie are very talented and very good at what they do- but they are also very personable and friendly. I also found their prices to be a great value in comparison to what some other Orange County hair stylists and make-up artists were charging. I highly recommend Cheek Couture.

  Molly was AMAZING!!! I have never felt my beautiful! I LOOOOVED my hair!! I LOVED MY MAKEUP!!! And I'm the type of girl who likes the way she does it herself so for my to actually like the way someone did my hair and makeup was jut great. I barely wear make up and I usually just wear my hair in a pony tail so I had no idea what I wanted. These girls made it very easy for me! On my wedding day they showed up on time with their awesome energy. My Fiance/ Husband could not believe how great I looked. He told me like a million times! I have heard nothing but horror stories about hair and make up but with Cheek Couture I have nothing but amazing stories to tell about my hair and make up!   Most women I know have a horror story to tell of a style created by a "professional" hairstylist or a makeup job completed by an "artist". It was with my own horror stories in mind that I called Molly and Dottie of Cheek Couture. I wanted to provide my wedding party with the convenience and luxury of having their hair and makeup completed at our venue. I knew that I wanted my hair done by Cheek Couture, but I have only once in my life had my makeup done by someone else and liked it. Molly laughingly told me they hear that all the time. Their business had been recommended to me by my wonderful florist, and I regarded this recommendation highly. I decided to take the plunge and have my makeup done as well. Well, I can say that without reservation, I could not have been more pleased. They were on-time, considerate and fun, and they made each of the beautiful women in my family and party even more lovely. As a matter of fact, my sister-in-law, who had not originally planned to get in on the fun, took one look at the finished hair and makeup and said that she wanted to look pretty too!!! All throughout my planning process, both Molly and Dottie were responsive and considerate. I never once had to wait days to hear back from them when I had a question. And as our pictures will show, everyone looked gorgeous, and I myself had never felt more beautiful. And if anyone needs any further proof, my groom was moved to tears when he saw me. Thank you, Molly and Dottie, for making our wedding day a beautiful one.

  Robin was our artist and she was fabulous. She did my trial run on location at my mom's house (which I scheduled to be the morning of my bridal shower). She also came on the wedding day to do hair and make-up for my bridesmaid's and myself. It would have been nice if they had given us 2 artists so that we didn't have to start getting ready so early, but other than that - it was a completely positive experience. Highly recommended!

  I hired Dottie and Molly for a hair and make up preview. They emailed back quickly with availability. I explained in great detail certain areas in of my skin that I wanted maximum coverage and it went completely ignored during the trial, I looked like a porcelain doll at the end with messy tight small curls, it was NOTHING like the photo they asked me to bring. They did offer a re-do at no charge but I already had lost $150 which was a great loss and I didnt want to re-try for the most important day of my life. My opinion is that there is no communication between the two and I dont feel they truly listen to your needs during the phone interview and werent prepared with the proper makeup as I has discussed on the phone before hand.

  First and foremost, we take our job very seriously and LOVE what we do. We are so blessed to work with brides every day and be even a small part of such an important day. I truly believe our work reflects that.
  
  I regret that we could not make you happy during your preview which led to such a surprising review here on Wedding Wire. The trial/ preview is meant to consult with the bride and if needed, make any corrections to hair and makeup the bride may wish for.
  
  We need 100% honesty from the bride in order to understand her needs. If you did not like something, I wish you would have verbalized that to us. We don't know what to change if you are not honest.
  
  Concerning your foundation coverage, we came fully prepared with different makeup foundations. In the beginning of the preview you said you wanted something natural, completely contradicting what you told Molly over the phone.
  
  We value your opinion as we do all of our clients. We will definitely take your thoughts into consideration.
