Chef Covas and her team are amazing. Super helpful and attentive throughout the entire process. Service for 60 was flawless and every item brought out was met with rave reviews. The servers were beyond wonderful. If you need an event catered, stop your searching here and go with Chef Covas. -

We hired Chef Covas for our medium (~150) sized wedding this summer and were THRILLED with the entire experience. Chef Covas and her team pulled together an absolutely beautiful event! Everyone we encountered from her team was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely customer driven.
The food was wonderful - we had 8-10 passed appetizers, huuuuge mediterranean/charcuterie spread, a full plated dinner, and assortment of desserts. Our guests raved about the food! My husband and I have been in the restaurant industry for years so the quality of the food for our wedding was critical and they blew it out of the park. Steaks not overcooked, chicken not dry, fish was flavorful and fresh. I wish I could go back to my own wedding just to eat!
We also hired Chef Covas as a day of coordinator; after 4+ years of being engaged and moving the wedding twice (thanks COVID) I just genuinely did not have the capacity to manage the event; Lauren stepped in and really made the whole night perfect. Everything looked beautiful, Lauren is super personable and easy to work with, our families really liked her and everyone was relieved not to have to think about much! Having the caterer also be DOC was a good choice since the two roles are intertwined so closely.
I would hire Chef Covas again in a heartbeat - we had a truly lovely experience! 10/10. -

She made the process super easy, we gave her a budget and an idea and she came up with a menu fully customizable to our likes. She is very professional and responsable when it came to the time of delivery. Food was delicious and the set up was impeccable, she made our wedding cake too! which was exactly how we wanted it. Everybody enjoyed the food and we were very happy that we had the chance to offer our guests such an amazing food. I will definitely use chef covas’s services again.

User1645626 Sent on 06/03/2014I hired Chef Covas Catering for my daughters college graduation party. We had over 50 people. Our party was at 1pm and the caterer arrived punctually at 10 am to set up and prepare for the event. I was so happy with the overall party. Not only was I able to enjoy myself and not worry about keeping things moving and everything clean, the food was delicious and professionally displayed. All my guests raved about the food. We had a fantastic antipasto and various dips as appetizers and my favorite, pigs in a blanket. The chicken bruscetta was outstanding (even the day after). It was never dry and was very tasty. The taco bar was a huge hit too with all ages. The themed cake was the best cake I ever had -- extremely fresh! I strongly recommend you hire Chef Covas -- you'll be glad you did. -
User1647830 Sent on 06/05/2014Chef Covas catered my engagement party and it was absolutely stunning! The food was delicious!! Our guests could not get over how amazing their lobster Mac n cheese is! Chef Covas also made the most beautiful display for the cheese and veggie table. Her servers were warm and friendly :) I am still hearing rave reviews of our engagement party. I would recommend her for any event you may be planning. They even coordinated the tent, table and seating as well as the bar and layout for the entire event. Can't wait to plan our next event with Chef Covas Catering!!! -

Chef Covas did a great job by making several ethnic dishes which was loved and devoured by my employees. The delivery of the food was timely and all the set up was done very professionally. The amount of food served was more than great value for the $. Chef Covas, thank you for making my employees happy.

She offered great ideas to make the event stress free. She worked within our budget and offered great ideas to keep the event elegant and within the budget.

The food was fabulous and the presentation was beautiful. I highly recommend her and I have even used her again myself for another party. I will use her next time I am in need of a caterer as well.
