  Amazing work!

  Chala was perfect for our small ceremony. Affordable but so helpful and the pictures turned out beautiful. Highly recommended. 🙂

  Memorable photos, friendly, and affordable.

  We are so grateful Chela was our wedding photographer, and would highly recommend her services! We needed a photographer for 2.5 hours to capture our small 12 person ceremony and cocktail hour this past November. Her pricing is very fair and affordable. The wedding photos were truly beautiful, personable, and memorable. Chela really had an eye for capturing in the moment photos, and the little details that as a bride you may not remember during your big day, but the photos serve as a lovely reminder. The photos bring us so much joy, and truly takes us back to the wedding day. Chela also uploads your photos to a dropbox which makes it easy to view and print photos. Chela is a very friendly, nice, and professional person.

  Small Wedding

  We used Chelsea at a small wedding ceremony in Asheville recently. Chelsea was able to fit within our budget requirements and provided beautiful Photos of the event that we will cherish forever.

  Great Photo

  I was in desperate need for a photographer a month before our wedding and reached out to Chela through Wedding Wire. She responded quickly with a package that fit our needs/price range and answered all of my questions and concerns.
  
  On the wedding day she was prompt, professional, and made great use of the time that we were paying for. she made us feel extremely comfortable and everyone at our wedding has complimented her!
  
  We have received our photo preview and the pictures so far are wonderful. Looking forward to seeing the rest!

  Chela was amazing! I really could not have asked for anything more. She is so sweet and so helpful with getting such amazing pics. Chela was so thoughtful with how she made the flower girls and ring bearer feel comfortable. She really worked so hard to make our day special and I just loved chatting with her throughout the day. I really can’t say enough about how awesome she was!

  Disappointed

  I write this review with a very heavy heart because several key moments were not captured and I can never get that day back. This was our only wedding day and our first time dealing with a professional photographer. We asked detailed questions about what to expect and on our big day I felt like we had to direct her. I have NO photos of me looking at my groom as I was walking down the aisle. No photos with our parents. No photos with our children. We were told that certain photos would be taken when the light changed. We were both so carried away we didn't realize that these images were not captured. I am absolutely heart broken. The quality of the photos we did receive were subpar. Honestly the photos taken by our guests were better quality. We spent our hard earned money and have nothing to show for it. Chela did offer a small refund for our getting ready photos that she did not take but I feel like if your customers are not satisfied they should not be charged. Chela was very kind however the job she was hired to do was not done. I wish we could go back to that day to capture those precious moments. Hire a friend with an iphone instead.

  As the owner of the business and the photographer I'd like to respond to this review. Makeia is correct that the photos of her and her bridesmaids getting ready were not taken. I was informed by the venue manager that they were not dressed yet at 10 minutes until ceremony, so I made a decision to not take the elevator to their hotel room to possibly take those photos, but instead photograph the groomsmen who were ready for photos and on the rooftop for the ceremony. I also photographed the family as they were coming in which had been requested. The dollar value for getting ready photos missed was refunded as soon as it was mentioned via email after the wedding. As for photos coming down the aisle, I had to hold the door open for the bride to come out so I did miss her initial entrance. Then I photographed her walk down to the groom and his reaction which were sent to the couple. It was logistically impossible to photograph both her looking at him and her from behind, especially when I ended up holding the door open for her to enter. Regarding family photos that were missed, the family dispersed after being asked to stay for photos immediately after the ceremony. I suggested that they can be taken throughout the night since they did not stick around, and she agreed that would work. I did not have a list of family members or of specific shots wanted, but I followed them and took photos of them with their family when they asked, and before I left I checked with the bride and she seemed satisfied and they thanked me for everything. There were photos of them with their parents that were uploaded into their folder. I would also like to state that the bride communicated through email that the photos she had received were awesome and not subpar as she posted here. Lastly I'll add that the bride emailed stating that she herself was a professional photographer when she emailed with her critique. If this is true, I'd like to ask that she please post her public page for reference. While I understand that there are going to be unhappy customers, I do not find this review reflects the quality of my business or my ability as a photographer.
