Joey was fantastic! We can’t say enough good things about him and his work! He was very responsive before, during, and after the wedding. His pricing is super affordable and the quality of his photo are so much higher than that of other photographers in the same price range! He was very punctual, the day of he arrived early and ready to work. He was very energetic! I feel like I’m pretty awkward in formal photos but all of my formal photos turned out amazing! We had a good mix of candid and formal pictures. He knew exactly how to position us all so that out photos turned out perfect. Some of the positions did feel a little awkward... -

We cannot say enough good things about Joey and Cherry Red Shoe Photography. All of our family and guests even noticed and commented on how wonderful he was during the entire day - from both the bride and groom getting ready to the ceremony and on through the reception. Just a couple of weeks after our wedding, we received all of our photos and can see that he really did capture all of the special moments of the day. We particularly love the mix of posed and candid photos, and the special collection of black and white photos are beautifully elegant. We will recommend Joey to everyone we know! -

Every bride wants to have the perfect wedding day, and to have those memories perfectly captured. Joey does exactly that, and more!! My sister was married in 2018 and used Joey as their photographer, and not only were the pictures creative and gorgeous, but every single guest that he interacted with raved about how fun he was!
Now, 2 years later, my husband and I decided to use Joey not only for our wedding photography, but also an engagement session. Joey has an excellent vision in his mind of what a picture will look like before he even snaps the shot! He is a true artist with his work, and I know that these pictures will be treasured... -

Having Joey as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning. He was extremely accommodating and flexible- spending the whole day with us and traveling around downtown so we could have pictures taken in iconic Cincinnati locations. He also hand-delivered the flash drives with our photos so we could have them before Christmas. One of the reasons we chose Joey is because I could see from the posts on his website that he really captures the spirit of the day, and our wedding was no exception. The pictures are amazing, and there are so many. Whoever called Joey a photographer ninja was not exaggerating. For all of the time he spent with us... -

Joey was so great to work with! He did both our engagement and wedding photos. He is very creative and comes up with wonderful ideas for photos. We were very impressed with how hard he worked at the wedding to capture everything. He came to get photos of my wedding party getting ready, then traveled to the venue to do shots of the groom's party and others. He stayed until the very end of our reception, capturing all of the fun had. We would definitely recommend Joey to anyone! -

Easiest and Best Decision!
Joey did an excellent job with our wedding day photography. From the very start of the day capturing the bridesmaids getting ready, to the beautiful (and funny) wedding party photos, to the ceremony and reception, Joey managed to get it all! Many of the reviews mention that it looks like you have a team of two or more photographers, and this is absolutely true - he is always moving and working to capture all the special moments. Turnaround time is incredibly fast and, within two weeks, we had over 2,000 photos returned to us, ready to print and share. There are many choices we made leading up to our big day, but choosing Cherry Red Shoe Photography was one of the easiest and best ones we made. -

Bellina Sent on 06/27/2018We hired Joey at Cherry Red Shoe Photography for our June 2nd wedding and we were blown away by the time and effort put in to each and every picture. Joey and his assistant were with us all day, but we were never overwhelmed by the camera. When he arrived he jumped right into action without hesistation and didn’t stop all day. You can clearly see he has a passion for what it does and it showed through his pictures. In all we received a little less than 2000 pictures exactly when he said they would be ready by. His staged pictures were bright and elegant, and his candid/detail pictures allowed us to relive the magical day all over again. I am overjoyed with his work and would recommend him to everyone.
