  Chesler Photography was recommended to us by the wedding planner from our venue, the Bellhurst Castle. Steve Chesler and his team were very professional and produced stunning photos of our wedding day. He even worked with our DJ to show a slideshow of our wedding photos during the reception. Steve Chesler was very familiar with the grounds and knew all of the best places for photos. He was a pleasure to work with and we will always have wonderful pictures to remember our special day.

  We worked directly with Steve on our photos and found him to be the best option for us. From the beginning he seemed to understand and best fit what we wanted from our photographer. He has a distinctly fun, modern, and eclectic style that brings out the fun but also beauty in the photos. His prices are not cheap - but he is well worth it. He was flexible and fun, responsive to our needs. During the reception they were around but not prohibitively - i recently went to a wedding where the photographer kept stealing away the bride and groom; steve let us enjoy the party.

  Steve Chesler was very accommodating with our engagement photo session. He took us near rustic looking brick walls in downtown Canandaigua, near the historic boathouses on the pier and into a shady park like area near the lake. All of the pictures turned out awesome! He has a way of capturing true personalities and emotions while making his subjects feel comfortable. We really had a lot of fun with Steve and we are looking forward to our wedding photos.

  My husband and I chose Chesler Photography after seeing a friend of a friend's pictures online. We immediately loved the way he uses nature and unique elements as his canvas when taking pictures. He has an artistic eye and did an amazing job of capturing all the small nuances that are normally lost in translation. We did some traditional poses and many adventurous ones that felt more like 'us.' For our wedding we recognized that pictures are hugely important, but we wanted to enjoy the day and not feel like slaves to the camera. Steve and his brother Rich made that vision a reality. They were so easy to be around, have an amazing sense of humor, and were very calming to work with!!

  LOVE THEIR WORK! Steven and his staff are unbelievably talented photographers--they just have an eye for getting the special, unique shots--not just the traditional wedding stuff. Steve and his staff are fun, and make you feel at ease, but are still very professional and unintrusive. They also set up a laptop computer halfway into the reception with a slide show of the pictures that they had taken so far, and the guests loved to see such immediate pictures. My wedding was only yesterday, so I haven't received my albums or photos or anything yet, but so far, I am incredibly impressed with their work and professionalism!

  Unbelievable pictures!!!! Everyone remarked on them as they watched the ones he had earlier taken that he put on the laptop. He made me look and feel like a model. He gathered from the engagement session that my fiance was not comfortable being the center of attention and having many formal pictures. So at the wedding Steve took many candids and action shots. They all came out beautifully and we have some wonderful memories to look back on. He was a lot of fun and took some different and interesting shots!
