Cassi Sent on 02/24/2016Walking into Chic Bridal, the shop is gorgeous, with exposed brick and really nice finishes. The atmosphere is very inviting and made the occasion feel special. I was a little concerned by the what seemed like a small selection of dresses to chose from. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, which was a dress style they did not have. The gal that was helping us asked if I was open to trying some things on. She talked to me about the feel that I wanted (vintage, glam) and picked out a few dresses for me to try.
The fitting room/ viewing area was very well decorated and set up perfectly for an entourage. The third dress I tried on I fell in love with. It was not what I was expecting to like but I was beaming and did not want to take it off. The dress was Justin Alexander originally priced at 2,200. There was a sale sticker on the dress that read 1,700. Since my budget was 2,000 we were ecstatic about the sale price. The gal that helped me then checked with the owner to see if there was any additional discount we could get. She came back with $799. We bought the dress and took it home that night. I absolutely love it and can't believe I got such a steal!
This was the third time I had tried on dresses. Chic Bridal had such a unique selection, it really stood out to me as a bridal shop. The service was also wonderful, it felt very personal unlike other places I went where one attendant is working with several brides and you feel rushed. -

Ashley Sent on 11/22/2015Even though I came in without an appointment and there was another party ahead of me, the owner helped me and took the time to answer all my questions. I was even given the opportunity to try on a dress, which I purchased.
I had looked all over town for something and was starting to be frustrated by the lack of styles that I liked, but at Chic I found my dress and got an awesome deal!
This shop is worth your time...We did find out though that the hours on line were an hour earlier than the actual opening time of the boutique. Do yourself a favor and call first and make an appointment :) -
User2265338 Sent on 08/11/2015Let's just say, I had a general idea of what I wanted in my wedding dress: some lace, sweet heart neckline, and somewhat of a low back. But, I was willing to try on anything/everything to make sure it was the "perfect" dress. My sister set up three appointments with three different vendors. Chic Bridal Boutique was our first stop. From the moment we walked in the door, it felt special. Her store is beautiful, and there are so many dresses to choose from. Anne was pleasant to work with, and she kept within our budget. She brought several dresses for me to try on that she thought would fit my romantic taste. The first dress I tried on was a knock out. It had the lace. It had the low back. It even had the sweetheart neck line. I loved it and my two grandmas loved it too. Nonetheless, I kept trying on dresses, and we went to our other vendor appointments over two days. However, I could not stop thinking about the first dress. The QUALITY of the dress set it apart. I did not have to wear a bra! I did not have to wear extra slips or anything uncomfortable. The dress was so well made that all I had to do was slip it on after a few alterations for just the right fit. I felt amazing and beautiful on my wedding day! My husband LOVED the dress too, especially the back; he was speechless. Thanks so much Chic Bridal Boutique for making me feel like the perfect bride. My dress will be remembered -

They had the most beautiful gowns ever and no one else had them. I loved the boutique, the gowns and the owner. Thanks, Chic for letting me be me! -

We had been to many places looking for a dress and not once did we get the kind of attention and service as well as patience that we received in your store. Everyone was so attentive to all of us and it made the trip from Ogden so enjoyable. We talked about how great we were treated all the way home. You all went above and beyond helping her try on dresses time and again so that she could get the right one. We are all very glad we chose your store to get her wedding dress. We will make sure that we refer an many people as we can to you and your staff. Thanks again for making this an enjoyable and memorable trip for us.

Amanda Sent on 06/10/2012I LOVE Chic Bridal Boutique. The Staff is AMAZING and so accommodating! My Parents and I randomly stumbled upon the store, thought it was adorable and decided to just walk on in. She let us browse through the dresses and when nothing was working she pulled a dress for me that was GORGEOUS. I gasped when I saw it. Then she said it was a sample that she would sell to me for a hugely discounted price. Then she let us take it for a day (without buying it yet) to get quotes from different alterations places. On top of that, a few months later I had called to see if I could order extra fabric in order to create a keyhole back. They couldnt order the fabric but what she did do was spend hours looking for similar fabric that would work. Then gave me a call and asked me to come on in. When I got there she had tons of options for me and spent a full hour helping me make a decision. Then a few months later I stopped in to try on my dress (since I hadn't seen it in 6 months) and see what it would look like with different shades of pink (for the bridesmaid dresses). Once again she spent time with me and went above and beyond, pulling additional options of pink.
I can not say more great things about Chic Bridal Boutique. When I had bought my dress I had literally just moved to Boise from Florida that same week. (Actually days prior I believe- which is why my Parents were in town- they were helping me move). With all of my Bridesmaids, Family and Friends 3,000+ miles away, the special attention and help I have received has been totally priceless. I would buy there again in a heartbeat. -

Emily Sent on 10/06/2012I tried my dress on in September of 2011 and fell in love! It was an Anais St. Pucchi with a big flower on the side. It was so early in my dress searching that I thought I could definitely find something in the next year that would be better. I live in Seattle so I thought that there would be a ton of boutique like shops that would have something at least comparable. I was very wrong. After six months of searching in the Seattle area, and going to about five different places, I called Chic and bought the dress over the phone.
Every dress I tried on after the St. Pucchi seemed to not fit right or have cheap fabric, and especially for the price. I got such a great deal on the St. Pucchi that I basically stole it. It was such a huge hit at the wedding. Everyone was in awe of the stitching and the flowers. I even had my cake designed to match the dress. Something else that I can't forget to mention is how nice it was working with the store owner and her mom. They really made us feel welcome and there was no pressure to buy. They were awesome listeners and my mom and I loved them. I also really appreciated that when I called to buy the dress she remembered me and was so excited for me! If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind dress at a killer price - go to Chic Bridal! -
User844073 Sent on 06/27/2012Chic Bridal made buy a dress a positive experience. When trying on gowns they were helpful and flexible. They always were eager to help me try another dress and did not pressure me into purchasing. I went to many other locations in Boise and most of them were rude. The owner and her mother were so kind, helpful and even helped me find a second dress last minute so I could dance a hula for my husband on my wedding day.

Sydney A. Sent on 06/23/2011Love Love Love Chic Bridal Boutique and Annie the store owner. I was very discouraged looking at all the other wedding dress stores in Boise, the dresses all seemed cheap and the sales people were constantly rushing and pushing me to make a decision. A lot of them also did not let you take pictures of a dress you liked which I thought was ridiculous! Annie and her mom (who helps sometimes) were so patient, kind, helpful, and no pressure! The store has a wonderful selection of beautiful gowns. Annie stays up to speed with new designs and keeps the price reasonable. I went shopping in Dallas TX and just could not stomach the prices. I ended up with a much more beautiful gown for half the price with Annie! We also ordered our bridesmaids dresses through Chic Bridal and was referred to a wonderful Alterations woman. Annie took care of everything for me so I could just enjoy the process instead of stressing. I stopped by many times when family or friends came to visit who wanted to see the dress and she never got annoyed. Chic Bridal is the place to find your dress in Boise! -

They have wonderful suggestions about how to make any changes to the dress so that you make sure that you are leaving with exactly what you want. They have the newest styles and I found my dress after trying on only 4 designs. Annie, who helped me, did such a nice job of bringing dresses that I wouldn't have picked off of the hanger, that I ended up loving after I tried them on.Chic Bridal Boutique's reply:

User2093689 Sent on 04/11/2015They have beautiful gowns. I fell in love with a Justin Alexander one. The staff was helpful in giving all our options. Although they didn't have the belt I had wanted and they couldn't order it for me, it was overall a good experience. Only thing that keeps it from a 5 star is that I felt sometimes that the owner didn't think I could a) afford the dress or b) that I wasn't really serious in getting it. At least that's what I thought about when she was handing me different dresses to try on. I didn't feel like she was taking me serious. Like I had at another place. But that was my dress, I fell in love!

User962432 Sent on 10/07/2012When I went into Chic I expected the best service out of the stores I had been in, but instead I didn't really get the help I was looking for. The young consultant seemed to not know about wedding dresses which I found odd and couldn't even tell me the designers they carry. I also felt very overwhelmed by the way the dresses were organized and it seemed cluttered and messy. I did enjoy the dressing large dressing area. Also, the dresses seemed a little too over the top for my taste. I didn't find any dress that I really liked.

Thank You for your review. We are always trying to improve the brides experience in our boutique. We do not have an in-house seamstress for several reasons. First and most importantly is that we do everything we can to reduce the cost of alterations. You are basically paying the salary for the in-house seamstress when there is one. Thus causing the price of the alterations to be very high. We have very skilled independent contractors that do fabulous work at a very modest price. Which is what we want for our brides. Secondly, when we measure our brides for their dresses we try and get a very close fit which will result in no alterations or a very few alterations for the brides.
