  Best wedding caterer

  CHIC CHEF IS THE BEST! We cannot say enough good things about them! Ravi + Lily bent over backwards to help accommodate us with our tastings during the COVID-19 pandemic. They were so flexible and so easy to work with. Lily and Ravi were very responsive to every email and every question we had. They even worked with our budget and helped us chose things that worked well with our venue.
  
  Having great food at our wedding was so important to us, and everything we tried was DELICIOUS! The day of our wedding, we got SO MANY compliments on our food and the service Chic Chef provided. We had the chicken florentine and the Brazilian churasco for our entrees, and the asparagus and rice for the sides. They were perfect. For our apps, we had the veggie eggrolls, the tuna wontons, and the bacon apple crostini. AMAZING!
  
  Our passed apps were TO DIE FOR and there was plenty to go around for all of our guests. We chose a buffet style for our reception because it worked well with our budget- let me tell you, if you are worried about buffet style, like I was, DON'T BE! This was a served buffet and everything was warm, flavorful and delicious. Everything looked very professional - and it was perfect.
  
  Ravi from Chic Chef works so hard to make sure your wedding is perfect. And he will not nickel and dime you. We wanted an open bar and he suggested we opt out of their liquor package and suggested we buy our own alcohol to save money. It worked out perfectly. They guided us on how much alcohol to buy and we had plenty for their bartenders to serve throughout the evening. Their bartenders (forgive me, I forgot their names!)were so fun and engaging! They even started dancing and had fun at our reception which our guests loved!
  
  Also, during the reception, we wanted to have bottles of wine on each table to self serve as the bar would be closed during dinner. The bartenders opened all of our bottles of wine and ensured everything was at the tables before reception start. It worked out so well!
  
  Now let me get to the star of the show (other than the food itself) --- ENRIQUE! A HUGE THANK YOU TO ENRIQUE! He was absolutely the best part of our wedding and he made sure our wedding was perfect, and it was all thanks to him! During cocktail hour we took pictures, and he followed my husband and I around with appetizers and drinks to make sure we actually got to eat the food! Throughout the entire reception he made sure we had everything we needed. He even brought us water to alternate with the alcohol we were drinking, which my husband and I appreciated! ;) We loved his light up serving tray too!
  
  Chic Chef is, in our opinion, the ONLY caterer you need for ANY event. We would recommend them and hire them in a heartbeat. Thank you so so much Chic Chef!

  Amazing food!

  Chic Chef went above and beyond in every aspect of catering our wedding, most notably in the incredible service! The dinner food and appetizers were amazing, chef Ravi and his team run a seamless operation. We had multiple guests tell us this was the best wedding food theyve ever had!

  Book Chic Chef!

  We could not have been happier with Chic Chef. This team is made up of some of the friendliest, easy-going people. The positive experience starts the minute you have a tasting with them. They are very communicative and quick. On top of being easy to work with, the service AND the food on our wedding day was top tier. Our guests just raved about the food and we were extremely impressed with the consistency! We had the chicken, short rib, children's meals and a few guests that had a vegan dish. Every single guest was impressed with their meal. We felt so cared for by Chic Chef on our day - do yourself a favor and look no further! Book Chic Chef!!

  Incredible Team, Incredible Food

  We cannot rate Chic Chef high enough. They are, without question, a top-notch catering team in the Chicago area.
  
  Throughout the entire process (two tastings, venue walkthrough, and reception itself) the Chic Chef team was highly communicative, flexible to all our requests, and extraordinarily kind and professional.
  
  Throughout the tasting process the provided us not only with the menu options we selected but additional dishes they thought paired well with some of our initial selections and additional recommendations (that we ended up using). They encouraged us to sample each option and provide any preparation adjustments we thought necessary (more or less sauce, less seasoning, swapped toppings, etc.) and took studious notes to ensure these tweaks were included for our event. Their staff was very courteous and cordial even adjusting without complaint when we had an unavoidable late arrival to the second tasting.
  
  The Chic Chef team made sure to attend our venue walkthrough and beyond noting the required linens/silverware/glassware they provided very helpful insights into how to layout the venue during food service. This was greatly appreciated by my wife and I since we utilized the venue's space in a non-traditional layout.
  
  All of the upfront discussion and adjustments paid dividends as the reception itself went off spectacularly. The Chic Chef team were prompt in their arrival, efficient in their setup, and absolutely professional in the preparation and delivery of the food. They provided passed appetizers (at cocktail hour), plated salads, and plated meals for our event without any delay or shortage. Despite having speeches occurring throughout the event the Chic Chef team was able to discretely provide all food service without interruption. They additionally helped us plate and cut desserts that we sourced from a separate vendor. As a bonus their head staff member checked in with my wife and I throughout the event to ensure everything was proceeding as intended and to provide us our own meals and appetizers.
  
  The food itself was out of this world. Everything was prepared exactly as we had specified and with more than ample portions while being completely mindful of the allergy and diet preference list we provided from our guests. We have had no less than a dozen individual guests reach out to us following the reception to rave about the food and tell us it was the best they've ever had at a wedding.
  
  I assume their cleanup and tear down was as professional and efficient as the rest of their service because we did not even notice them depart. Our venue representative similarly raved about their communication and professionalism.
  
  To top all of this off their quote for our event was literally HALF the cost of the standard recommended caterers from our venue (and other venues we had explored).
  
  We will be recommending Chic Chef to any and all of our friends who plan an event in the Chicago area.

  PLEASE take my advice and book Chic Chef for your catering - you truly will not regret it!!!

  The absolute best decision we made throughout our whole wedding process was booking Chic Chef for our catering!! As soon as we met with Lucy, we cancelled all other catering tastings we had booked. The food we had at our tasting was 10/10 incredible, and we knew we wanted to to lock them down.
  
  From that very first tasting to the weeks leading up to the wedding, the whole Chic Chef team was beyond helpful. Lucy worked with us to finalize our menu and guest count, and she made the process stress-free.
  
  On the day of our wedding, the Chic Chef team truly made our event incredible. They brought appetizers to me in the bridal suite as soon as the ceremony ended so I could eat something before pictures, and they even fixed every single place setting when I realized there was a small detail that needed to be corrected right before dinner service.
  
  We chose to do a buffet-style service for our wedding, and the food they served was fresh, delicious, and looked amazing. The way they presented it was similar to how you would expect a plated dinner to be served.   1000/10 would recommend!

  Planning a wedding is wild, and one of the biggest areas of complexity is catering. We wanted a sophisticated and refined experience, with food that would be memorably good, and fun details that would blow our guests minds. We got all that and more with Chic Chef and Lucy.
  
  From our very first phone calls and emails, through our big day, the whole team was friendly and professional in all the right ways. The balance between the two can be hard, but we never felt like it was purely a business transaction. Lucy and the team were incredibly flexible and accepting of some of our weird ideas (like banana margaritas), and generally just took away all the stress.
  
  They gained our confidence quickly within the first tasting and conversation around that, and had our trust as they guided us through what would look nice, go over well, what was reasonable and what wasn't. They clearly do this often, and do it well.
  
  Their existing relationship with our venue and some of our other vendors definitely helped, but it never felt like we were on the sidelines.
  
  On the big day, it was so fun to see Lucy and the team in execution mode. She was so attentive to us, and displayed a cool air of confidence that helped ensure we didn't even have a momentary thought that anything could go any other way than perfect. Everyone loved the food, the portions were immaculate, glasses were never empty, and our signature drinks and late night street tacos went off without a hitch.
  
  We cannot recommend Chic Chef, Lucy, and the whole team enough! The only part we're sad about is not having an excuse to interact with the team more regularly, and that no one will live up to the bar they set again.

  Awesome food and great people

  I cannot recommend Chic Chef enough! The food and service was fantastic. We got a lot of compliments and they were flexible as we changed aspects of the service/menu up to the last minute and asked for an 8+ hour open bar. Staff was great as well. Responsive, patient, thorough, and committed to their clients.

  The Best Caterer

  Wonderful company and service! Ravi and his team take care of your every need!! They worked with us and allowed us to custom tailor our menu! Helped us with meals for friends who were vegan and gluten-free! They even allowed us to purchase our own alcohol which they served for us. I am going to recommend this company to all of my friends! Guests loved the food too! The best service I have had at a wedding!

The servers on the day of were very attentive and asked us consistently if we needed any food or drinks throughout the night. We had a server just for us at our sweetheart table. The food was excellent from the tasting all the way to the big day. We even had some meals extra because some people didn't show and that they let us take it home. We had some people cancel because of mitigating circumstances and they allowed us to refund those 2 meals. Overall great service and would highly recommend!

  Incredible!

  Chic Chef was incredible to work with and had such a big part of making sure our day went smoothly, and the food was incredible! On top of that, the pricing is incredibly reasonable. They truly check off every box.
  
  We got so many compliments about the food from guests, which isn't always super common with other weddings I've been to! They offer such a wide selection of types of foods and we had a hard time picking our menu because there were so many great choices! We also utilized them for bar service, and the bartenders were great.
  
  Their team was so helpful in helping to set up and take down so much of our decor which I was SO very appreciative of!   Chic Chef was incredible to work with and had such a big part of making sure our day went smoothly, and the food was incredible! On top of that, the pricing is incredibly reasonable. They truly check off every box.
  
  We got so many compliments about the food from guests, which isn't always super common with other weddings I've been to! They offer such a wide selection of types of foods and we had a hard time picking our menu because there were so many great choices! We also utilized them for bar service, and the bartenders were great.
  
  Their team was so helpful in helping to set up and take down so much of our decor which I was SO very appreciative of! All of their staff members the day of our wedding were so helpful and professional, and really made sure that we were taken care of and happy. The service was fantastic from the day we contacted them through the wedding day, we truly could not have asked for anything more! They were so accommodating to all dietary restrictions and our guests gave glowing reviews of the food and service! In addition to delicious food and perfect service, Chic Chef’s prices are very reasonable.

  We can not say enough good things about Chic Chef. We hired them for our May 2022 wedding. After our initial tasting we were blown away by how good the food was and how reasonable the price was. We assumed there was no way the food would be as good on the day of the wedding. We were wrong. Everyone raved about the food! We had multiple guests with special diets and all were accommodated.   From the day of the tasting up until the end of our wedding, working with Ravi and the Chic Chef team was nothing but spectacular. Having a palate for finer foods, I knew that I wanted the food at my wedding to be spectacular; and it was everything and more! Nothing but amazing remarks on the food from all our guests and some guests went up for 2nds and even 3rds (buffet style)!
  
  Not only was the food amazing, but the whole team was efficient, energetic, and professional. They worked well together as well as with all other vendors involved during the day. I cannot thank Ravi and his team enough for knocking it out of the park and helping make our wedding day absolutely perfect.

Not only that, but their staff was incredible to work with. From event managers, to wait staff, to cooks, to bartenders, to coordinators -- all of them were amazing. Don't hesitate to hire them, just do it! Ravi knows what he is doing!

  The food is AMAZING! Chic Chef has done such an amazing job with the food, the service, and responsiveness. Huge shoutout because they also introduced Myrna, our coordinator. The service was so on point that everyone at the wedding raved about them. Let’s talk about the food- everyone raved about the raspberry glazed salmon and the veggie lasagna! If you are looking for something other than the regular chicken dish at your wedding, get the salmon! The presentation of the tables was just perfect as well!

  Chic chef was amazing from start to finish. Ravi and Lily are so incredibly nice and helpful! The tasting was perfect and they delivered the same quality at our wedding. People couldn’t stop talking about the amazing service. I wanted to shout out Jorge specifically because he was more than attentive. He brought out appetizers to the wedding party during pictures!!! So many weddings I have gone to and been a part of where the wedding party, even the bride and groom do not get their appetizers! He made sure my husband and I didn’t get up to get anything during dinner and we never went without a drink in our hand during the whole reception! Couldn’t have asked for anything more.
