  Abeki is simply amazing.. After all she planned our wedding in 6 weeks. We decided to get married at home and Abeki and her team transformed our apt into a ceremony and reception area.. We were thoroughly pleased..

  Hello, my name is Nicole and Ive had the pleasure of having my event planned by Abeki Carter of Chic Occasion. Firstly i must say that the event was wonderful. The guest of honor, my sister was also equally impressed and throughout the entire event had a permanent smile. From working with Abeki the recurring theme was articulate your desires...and then watch her make them manifest. I've since realised that you have to trust your event planner. Abeki was prompt, organized, accommodating and patient (even i was frustrating ). Im a believer in her and her team and I was beyond pleased with her efforts.

  Working with Abeki Carter was an absolute pleasure ~ She was able to help me achieve my dream wedding in only eight weeks! With limited time / budget and no luck finding the perfect wedding dress, I immediately called on Ms. Carter for help. In two weeks time, wedding invites were sent, wedding gown purchased, the venue, baker, photographer, and floral design team had all been booked. None of this could have happen without Ms. Carter's expertise, patience, quick thinking, commitment, responsiveness and over all professionalism. I highly recommend Ms. Carter services to any couple on their big day!! I can not thank Chic Occasions enough!!!

  I didn't have to lift a finger or my stress level, for that matter. Chic got it all done from invitations to venue to attire to photographer to cake to DJ to decor to favors to food and at a great price. The teams were consummate professionals and very efficient and timely. I've already recommended the Chic team to my friends and associates and will continue to do so.

  I hired Chic Occasions for my wedding which took place on June 8, 2014. I have seen Abeki's (owner) work by attending other events she has planned for friends of mine - baby showers and birthday parties. For my wedding, she did an excellent job, from the beginning of the process all the way through the end of the wedding day. Which, by the way, ended at 1am and she was the last one to leave. As I have never planned a wedding before, I turned to Abeki for a lot of assistance when it came to vendors, timelines, new and creative ideas, and even just to vent when things weren't going as planned. She was there every step of the way with a smile. On the day of, everything ran so smoothly. And if there were any fires that did come up, this definitely speaks volumes to Abeki's service as we did not have a clue. All 280 guest of the wedding have proclaimed it as THE BEST wedding they have ever attended. Abeki heard and saw my vision and help me bring it all together, especially in the details. I highly recommend her and will be using her again for future events.
