  Best Violinist ever!

  We hired Chris from the recommendation of our wedding coordinator, and he truly did not disappoint. The music was BEAUTIFUL and he went above and beyond our expectations. We have received so many compliments on how wonderful the music was for our ceremony and cocktail hour. He was prompt and responded to us immediately. For anyone who needs a violinist in the Tampa area, he should be the only person you reach out to!

  Exactly what we wanted

  We wanted an electric violist for our pre-ceremony reception and the reception. Chris is an incredible artist. He was amazing to work with. We asked him to learn new songs and he had no problem doing so. His music was like velvet. Smooth and beautiful. He played both contemporary and classic music. I highly recommend Chris.

  Chris was perfect from start of the process to the end! So easy to get in touch with, he made our ceremony and cocktail hour very personalized and was SUCH a hit with our guests. Couldn’t say enough good things about Chris!! Thank you so much!

  This Violinist Appreciates Nerds

  Chris was absolutely fantastic. He was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator. When I told him I wanted him to play Aerith's Theme when my wife walked down the aisle, and his response was "Oh from Final Fantasy VII? That's a good one!" I knew he was the man for the job. He then doubled down by playing the Kingdom Hearts menu music when people were getting seated, and Simple and Clean when everyone exited! All my friends were amazed and loving it, and those who were secret gamers came out the woodwork at the end of the ceremony. He absolutely crushed the cocktail hour with some awesome violin versions of popular music. Cannot recommend Chris, who is in this business to make sure whoever books him has the exact experience. Would rate him a 10/5 if I could!

  Excellent Violinist!!!

  I feel the same as the reviews from Scott T and Nicole Schnegg, this man is awesome!!! He added a whole level of class to my wedding, people commented above him and his music throughout the day. He was professional and quick to respond through the entire process and was spot on time. I could not ask for better than what Chris delivered. I will call him again.

  Awesome violinist

  We had a dream: to get married on a florida beach just with only our children and family to the sound of violin. A big thanks, among other things, to Chris, to make this dream come true. We don't know how to express our gratitude but he has to know that his melodies are still spinning in our hards.

  Incredibly Talented Violinist, Extremely Professional

  First and foremost, Chris is a ridiculously talented violinist, his ability to play a range of music from classical to modern and pair them seamlessly is incredible. He added an element to our wedding that was irreplaceable. Upon initially contacting Chris, (we found him on instagram) he was very clear and responsive in his communication, he broke down the bullet points, and then formalized everything with a concise contract spelling out each detail of his service, this is great as it leaves you with no question of will he do this or that, you know exactly what and when each detail will be covered by him. He was early, not just on time, his setup is professional, and beyond all else, he’s a nice guy that takes pride in what he does! I highly recommend Chris for weddings or any other event that you’re looking to add some class to!

  Thanksgiving made exceptional

  Our clubhouse dinners are frequent and can become somewhat boring. Every note Chris played made the entire clubhouse rich with music. The group of 85 guests wrote me the following day to tell me how wonderful it was having Chris there. I would/will hire him again when the opportunity arises. Thank you so much Chris!!

  While planning a 40th surprise party for my wife I spent lots of time researching different musicians online. Chris was super responsive and a delight to work with from the start. He worked with me to customize our event and recommended a variety of musicians he had relationships with around the Bay Area. The day of the event he was there early to set up and everyone had a great time at the party. I’d recommend Chris to anyone and look forward to working with him again at my next party.

  Definitely Recommend! Awesome Musician!

  All of our relatives and guests were so impressed with Chris! He was the perfect addition to our event. His music and the music he helped us select were right on target. Chris is very "user-friendly", accommodating, and had extraordinary talent. In addition to the violin and viola, he also played the piano for us. I am so thankful we picked him!!

  Chris Barbosa will only add to your event.

  All I can say is this guy was amazing. Very professional and helped make our event perfect. I literally sent him 8 songs I wanted played at my wedding and he had them down within a week. I would suggest using him for any event that you need that added explanation mark. Very rare in the world today that you get what you pay for, but Chris was worth the money and then some.

  Worth it! Chris was great!

  Having a live violinist was a luxury for us as we were at the top of our budget and didn't know if it was necessary... Afterwards we were so happy with our decision to book Chris! He played the songs we asked for and was just a great addition to the entire wedding!

  Chris Barbosa is a talented musician, he puts his heart and soul into his performance. My wife and I struggled to find an affordable musician for our wedding, one we found Chris it almost seemed to good to be true. Chris is affordable, talented and very easy to work with. I have recommended his talent to other couples on multiple occasions. For a solo act he sounds like a trio! Chris Barbosa is awesome, if you hire him you will be very pleased with you decision.

  We hired Chris to play prior to the (outdoor) wedding & also when our daughter entered up the stairway at the LeMeridian Hotel in Tampa to exchange her vows. Chris also played during the cocktail (pre-reception party). I would highly recommend Chris - very responsible & good price point.
