  I bought my headpiece at Christie's for my wedding. It was absolutely stunning and the service in her store is perfect. I loved the experience of shopping there, trying on a bunch of headpieces, getting her honest advice, etc. I would definitely recommend her and would use her again if I ever needed something for another party.

  Christie truly completed my bride look and enhanced everything for my perfect day. She took my vision on the type of bride I wanted to be and matched my dress detail with her headpiece and veil she created for me. I can't thank her enough for everything and how truly beautiful I felt and looked on my wedding day. She was a huge part to this and I can't wait to work with her in the future!!!!!

  Christie has gone above and beyond to ensure that my look came to life! Her boutique is gorgeous and I was always so excited to visit! Her attention to detail and overall demeanor are second to none! It has been an absolute treat working with her on my special day, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. My cathedral length veil was gorgeous as was my hair jewelry. I have been getting phone calls for days telling me that I looked like I belonged on a magazine cover. None of this would have been possible without Christie!

  MADE MY LOOK!!! ... everything was outstanding, adding my accessories made me look perfect. I got my belt, Veil, Headpiece and Bracelet from her and all night i was getting complements on my accessories. Christie took my Maggie Sottero wedding dress and made it a custom one of a kind look with everything she made for me. I couldn't not have been happier and would not let any of my friends use anyone but Christie for their wedding day accessories!! Beyond incredible!!!

  Christie was such a pleasure to work with. I probably drove her a little crazy changing my headpiece 3 times but she kept professional and my headpiece was gorgeous! Compliment after compliment I got from all my guests. This headpiece truly made me feel like a princess. So beautifully crafted and so sparkly. Thank you Christie for my gorgeous headpiece!

  Elegant and Glamorous!

  Christie Lauren truly made me feel like a princess on my wedding day! She is extremely talented and very passionate about her pieces. She makes them all by hand! Christie Lauren will make sure you are happy and find the headpiece, veil or jewelry that best fits you. For example, during my hair trial, my stylist thought the headpiece was a little too big and needed additional loops for bobby pins. Christie Lauren and her staff had no problem fixing the headpiece and were able to do it while I was in the store. They even made me comb for me using the extra piece! The store is also very easy to navigate and you do not feel overwhelmed while shopping. I truly enjoyed working with Christie Lauren and know I will have my headpiece for years to come!

  Christie Lauren was having a trunk show at Kleinfeld Bridal the day I said yes to my wedding dress. My consultant brought in Christie, who said she could customize one of her veils to complete my look. I went with it, trusting she could convert one of her veils to a mantilla style and add simple beading to coordinate with the beading on my dress.
  
  When I finally went to pick up the veil (8 months after ordering and weeks after my dress had arrived), I was HIGHLY disappointed. The veil was poorly bunched up on the comb and did not lay flat the way a mantilla veil should. Christie did not take note or pay attention to the detail of my dress because gaudy silver beading was added to the veil - my dress has subtle clear beading only noticeable when it catches light.
  
  My accessories consultant agreed that the veil was incorrect and advised that the veil be fixed by Kleinfeld's in house seamstress. I was upset I would not have my veil for my hair trial and reluctantly agreed that we could not trust sending it back to Christie Lauren expecting a quick turnaround time.
  
  My first dress fitting is in two weeks and all I can do is hope Kleinfeld can rectify Christie's mistakes. If you do not like her accessories as is, I would advise going elsewhere.

  My sister was looking for a birdcage veil and a broach like hair piece. She found Christie Lauren online. She has a small store on Northern Blvd in Manhasset. When placing an order, Ms. Lauren was helpful and accommodating. THe problems started when my sister went to pick up her pieces. She was told that they would be finished in early February. They were not completed until mid-March after several phone calls. When we went to the store to pick the items up, the woman working there practically threw them at us and proceeded to tell us about 10 times what a great deal my sister got on the supposedly $450 barrette. She had my sister quickly try the birdcage on and insisted it looked fine even though we said that it didn't look right. After we left, we tried the birdcage on again for several people including the seamstress that is working on my sister's dress. All agreed it was poorly made and did not lay right. Plus, the barrette, while lovely, is certainly NOT worth $450. I would not recommend this place. It is overpriced and the work is poor.
