    I could not have been happier with working with Christie Rose Events. She has an amazing eye for style, and takes the initative to assist in creating the perfect wedding day. She has GREAT contacts - don not be afraid to use them. Not only was my wedding beautiful, but it ran smoothly. I had my ceremony in a church, and my reception about 20 minutes away. She made sure every detail was in place. Not only was she great to work with professionally, but by the time my wedding day was over, I felt as though I had a friend at my event helping me to celebrate.     I worked with Christie York for our back-to-back weddings last year in California, with one 200-person backyard event in the Bay Area followed three weeks later by a 300-person reception at Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara. Her planning fee was THE BEST investment of the entire wedding(s). Christie is a dream to work with and handles event complexity and multiple moving parts with equanimity and composure:

    - She is incredibly fast and responsive on email, text, and phone. She never dropped the ball on any one of our hundreds of separate planning email threads or communications with 20+ wedding vendors. I don't know how she does it, but she has 100% grasp of all the details down to remembering who will bring the markers appropriate to writing on a chalkboard directional sign, or what kinds of snacks the bride and groom will get between the ceremony and photography session.
    - She is always wonderful and pleasant, and it is clear that she does what she loves! Although she has probably participated in hundreds of decor planning sessions, she always approached each conversation with an energetic attitude and excitement about making our decor visions come to life. We had a lot of fun dreaming up concepts for dance stages, swagged fabric in trees, unique DIY art projects etc. My husband was incredibly relieved that I had a designated outlet for the endless hours of design brainstorming that was not him :)
    - She listened carefully to what we wanted and always circled back to make sure the event was tracking according to our expectations. In particular, I am a very "anti flower ball" type of person, and Christie identified vendors who could deliver a more organic and rustic feel for the decor.

    Going into my wedding I had no idea how much I would end up relying on a wedding planner, in fact - if my venue had not required me to have my own planner I might not have gotten one at all. That would have been the absolute WORST mistake ever though! Christie and Michelle made planning my wedding an absolute dream. They made every little thing I thought of a reality - and they did it even better than what I had imagined! When I first got engaged brides had told me that by the time of the wedding came along they were excited for the planning to be over, and had several emotional breakdowns along the way. Thanks to Christie Rose Events I was frankly sad that my planning days were over. I had not one breakdown, and any curveballs thrown my way were promptly relieved and fixed. I could not speak higher of these two. They were the absolute BEST!

    How does one become good friends with their wedding coordinators, despite the madness of wedding planning? Easy, you hire Christie Rose Events for your big day. Christie and Michelle are incredibly talented at what they do. They both have impeccable taste and have developed strong relationships with amazing vendors in the wedding industry. From the very first meeting, both of them were so kind, thoughtful, thorough, and most importantly, professional. They helped us look over our budget, guest count, and venues. When we were first looking at possible venues, Michelle drove us to 5 venues around Los Angeles and Orange County in order to ensure that the wedding site we chose would be a place that we would love. From there, we knew that our relationship with Christie and Michelle was the perfect match. When choosing a wedding coordinator, one aspect is often overlooked—comfort. It is so important to feel comfortable with your wedding planners, because they will be your go-to people throughout the process and on the day of. Christie and Michelle’s personalities made me fall in love with them. We were able to openly tell them my thoughts on certain details, that we typically wouldn’t be able to if we didn’t have such understanding coordinators. On the day of the wedding, they were there for us all the way, even until the very end of the night. They made sure that everything was packed and accounted for, locked important items in the safe, and delivered us to our getaway car. After the wedding, all of the guests mentioned how beautiful and elegant the wedding was; that our wedding coordinators did a fantastic job. We even had multiple inquiries during reception for our wedding coordinators’ contact information, which we happily shared. We honestly do not know where we would be without the help of Christie and Michelle. We probably would not have been able to pull off the fairytale wedding of our dreams.     When it was time for Peter and I to get married, I immediately reached out to some of my girlfriends who had gone through the wedding planning process in Southern California to get a wedding planner recommendation. Not a single one of them recommended their wedding planner, which was scary and disheartening. I knew I didn't need a ton of help since I've done events in the past, but since we were planning the wedding from across the country, I knew I needed someone with local expertise to help me find vendors and take the planning off my hands the month of the wedding.

    After a lot of research and little success, a girlfriend of mine said that she had heard great things about Christie Rose Events and so I reached out. Christie Sperry and I hit it off immediately. She's smart, collaborative and understood my vision. She was there for me when I felt overwhelmed, always had great recommendations for vendors and went above and beyond the contracted agreement.

    Our wedding was just last weekend and I don't know what we would have done without her and Michelle the day-of the wedding. I'm confident, the day would not have been as beautiful and smooth as it was without them. If I had a question, they had an answer, and if I had a request, they made it happen. Their help allowed me to sit back and enjoy our special day and not worry about a thing!

    I would highly recommend Christie Rose Events to anyone looking to get married in California if you want to have a gorgeous and flawless event!

    Michelle was fantastic! We did a DIY wedding, and needed someone for the actual day of the wedding to keep everything moving smoothly. Thank goodness Michelle was there! When the shuttle carrying our parents and part of the bridal party broke down on the way to the wedding, our detailed schedule went right out the window. Michelle didn't miss a beat reorganizing the entire evening seamlessly. Guests would have never know anything was amiss. She kept the party moving smoothly, and kept me (the bride) calm and happy the entire evening. I didn't to worry about anything and had the time of my life. I attribute that to Michelle!

    I was the maid of honor in a wedding planned by Christie Rose Events and I was so stunned by how hard these ladies worked, that I feel compelled to write a review. Christie took such good care of my best friend and made the planning so much fun for her while keeping her organized and on track with all of her deadlines. All I heard for 8 months leading up to the wedding was how amazing the Christie Rose team was, and then when I met them on the wedding day, I found out why! They were so on top of everything. They had this timeline/schedule that basically had the day planned down to the very minute. Both Christie and the other wedding coordinator were so professional, constantly communicating our needs and taking care of each member of the bridal party like they were our personal assistants! They kept us all on schedule and made the day run so smoothly...we just kept waiting for SOMETHING to go wrong and it never did. And trust me, if something was going in that direction, these ladies had the problem fixed before it even arose.

    When we walked into the ceremony, I thought I was in a dream. They helped design everything and it just had that magic touch that every girl dreams of. The reception was the same way, it blew all of us away and the attention to detail was impeccable. Definitely a night to remember! This company is great and the whole bridal party would recommend them ten times over.

    We hired Christie Rose to coordinate and help plan our wedding. We talked with several others but the staff at Christie Rose took the time to really learn what we wanted and offered options. I never would have had time to get everything planned working a full time job (and saving up all my vacation time for the honeymoon). I can't thank them enough for making our wedding so memorable. On the wedding day Christie was running around everywhere covering every detail, making sure everything flowed properly and everyone was at the right place at the right time. She was a tremendous ball of energy at the reception. I cannot recommend Christie Rose Events high enough. Very thankful for all the work they did to make sure my day went off without a hitch.

    We hired them for day-of service, and Michelle was our coordinator. She was such a delight to work with. She was on top of everything before I could think of it, and made our day flow perfectly. I got to enjoy every minute of marrying the love of my life, mostly because of Michelle.There's really no price you can put on that! The wedding timeline Michelle made for me was so detailed-- down to the minute. For the level of service before and on the day of the wedding, I would give this company 10 stars if I could. Thank you for making our wedding so perfect!! :)

    Owner and Planner Extraordinaire - Christie Sperry, Christie Rose took our vision, added a terrific team of vendors, and amazing talents to deliver a wedding day that was beautiful, meaningful, and really fun, too!
    From our first meeting, Christie’s organization and planning capabilities impressed even this super-organized and demanding bride! She kept us on track and our budget in line throughout the process, adjusting as needed and adding her fantastic ideas and suggestions. Her design capabilities with lighting, linen, tableware and a myriad of other lovely details made the whole event truly beautiful and special.
    Start to finish Christie and her team, especially sister and assistant, Michelle, were wonderful to work with and so supportive it made even the trickiest and most stressful moments easier. Anticipating needs, easing the bride's worries, wrangling the groomsmen, and adjusting to unplanned events all without missing a beat.
    Christie Rose Events provides impeccable, professional organization and spectacular creativity for a flawless and beautiful event; but, more importantly, delivered in such a warm and caring way that we never lost sight of the true meaning and feelings of the event itself.

    As the mother of the bride, I can truly say that they were a god-send. We used them for full-coordination and worked with them for a year prior to the wedding. They worked with us through every aspect of the wedding, from developing a budget to selecting vendors to revising contracts to creating the worlds most detailed timeline..to giving my daughter the day she had always dreamed of. They executed each phase of the wedding planning like true professionals, and gave me the ability to sleep at night knowing this wedding would go off smoothly and perfectly under Christie Rose's direction.

    If you are debating getting a wedding planner, DONT. This will be the best decision you make. Planning a wedding seems fun and easy in the beginning, but once you get down to the nitty-gritty, you will need a professional's advice or you can make one decision that will change the wedding dramatically. Looking back, Christie talked us out of decisions that would have ruined the wedding. I can genuinely and wholeheartedly endorse this company and recommend them to anyone getting married. You will be so glad you hired them!

    We were facing the seemingly impossible task of planning our California wedding from New York and feeling so helpless. Enter Christie Rose Events! Even though we could only hire them for wedding day coordination, Christie and Katie went out of their way to give us the most amazing referrals. Every email and phone call response was so prompt and my fiancée and I could tell that they really cared. It was their guidance along the way that gave us full confidence going into the big day. They were so professional, kind and great to have around on the wedding day. All of our vendors did exactly what we wanted, many thanks to Christie for understanding our vision and holding everyone accountable for doing an amazing job.


    I highly recommend these ladies and don’t know what I would have done without them! Anyone on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator should talk to these ladies. They really will make your day the best it can be.

    I hired Katie from Christie Rose for day of services about 2 months prior to my wedding. My only regret is not hiring her from the get-go and having her with me through the whole process. When we first sat down for our consultation, she had every answer I needed. Her recommendations were spot on and ended up being great service providers. She was so prompt with my emails and made me feel so confident going into my big day. My wedding wasn't an easy one- 325 guests in 2 different locations. Katie was so great ensuring we were on time with everything and making sure everyone was where they needed to be. She made sure the ceremony and reception were set up how I wanted and managed all of the vendors while still bouncing back to us and making sure the bridal party was taken care of. She coordinated the actual ceremony very well and made sure all of our guests were ushered to the right places. During the reception, she was hard at work coordinating all of the dances, DJ and food. She really didn't stop all night. So many of my guests were so impressed with how hard she worked and want her number for when they get married!

    Christie Rose gave my wife and I the most flawless wedding day-- one that we could just sit back and enjoy every fleeting moment. Before we hired Christie Rose Events, my wife was stressing so much about the wedding that she had a mini-breakdown. At that moment I decided to fork up the money and hire someone to take the stress away.

    The minute we met with Christie and her assistant, my wife was already relieved. She began to enjoy the process again, and it was all because they were so organized and gave the best advice. The day of the wedding came, and they were great leaders to our team of service providers, made sure our bridal party and family had everything they needed as well as directed our ceremony and reception in the most poised way. These ladies gave my wife and I the perfect day, and no money can put a price on that. Ladies, if you are reading, you need to hire a coordinator so you/your mom/maid of honor can actually enjoy the best day of your life.

    Christie and her team made my wedding the most magical day of my life. Every detail exuded elegance! She thought of everything my brain would have never even considered. The planning process was smooth, organized and FUN! She delivered everything she promised and was very prompt in getting every task completed with the utmost professionalism. I honestly cannot imagine what the planning process and day-of would have been without her and her two assistants!! Highly highly recommend. I could not have had the wedding of my dreams without Christie Rose.
