She was so much fun to work with
Iris brought great energy to our wedding photography. She is very welcoming, excited, and passionate about sharing the love of a couple through photography. She took our engagement photos as well as our wedding-day photos, which allowed us to get to know her and form a close and trusting relationship. It also allowed us to practice some of the poses she employs before the day of the wedding. She is not afraid to tell you exactly what you need to do in order to get a beautiful photo, and she also makes sure your photos look natural and relaxed. She didn't wear us out on our wedding day,; she was very cognizant of the timeline and how the wedding party was feeling. Overall, I would highly recommend her as a photographer! -

The best photographer
Iris did my senior photos, my husband and I’s engagement photos, and our wedding! She is absolutely fabulous. She’s professional, bubbly, and so creative. We got several compliments from friends & family on her and her second shooter Sara at our wedding. They captured all of the big moments, small moments, and every detail of our wedding day. Our photos are phenomenal. I’m so thankful we’ve found Iris!!! -

Christina Schmidt Photography did our engagement and wedding pictures and we cannot recommend them enough! Iris has such a bubbly and energetic personality that is so infectious - we had such a fun time working with her. Her role extended beyond that of a photographer’s and she really made sure that our timeline made sense and that our wedding day would go smoothly. Both Iris and Sara were at our wedding and the two of them worked perfectly together to make sure they got every shot they needed and every shot we wanted. Our wedding party and guests absolutely loved them. We are so happy we chose Christina Schmidt Photography. -

We loved working with Christina (Iris) for our engagement and wedding photos - she captured us perfectly. Not only is Iris professional and creative, she's also fun to be around and kept us laughing throughout the sessions. She has insane range, from beautiful portraits and family photos, to heartwarming candids and stunning artistic shots. She delivered all of the galleries within the agreed upon time and provided so many photos all organized by timeline. We've received so many compliments on how amazing the photos are for both engagement and wedding. Could not recommend her enough! -

I could not be happier about my decision to hire Christina Schmidt Photography for my wedding this year! Iris was so kind, easy to work with, and felt like a friend by the end of my experience with her.
She went above and beyond during our engagement session, extended our agreed upon time and rushed to provide me with options within a matter of days to use on our wedding website and invitations.
Most importantly, she delivered beautiful photos from both the engagement session and wedding that I truly could not be more in love with! Overall, she provided the best experience I could have asked for and would hire her again in a heartbeat. -

Phenomenal Photographer!
My husband and I had a difficult time deciding who to use for our photographer for the wedding. When we saw Iris' page and product - we were floored! She did our engagement session and a full wedding day. The pictures were more than we could have imagined.
She is incredibly detailed oriented, intelligent and can command your crowd to GET INTO PLACE when time is of the essence.
Our families, friends, and bridal party LOVED her so much because she was incredibly efficient and effective.
I highly recommend Iris to anyone debating who to choose. A photographer is make or break for a wedding, GO WITH IRIS, you WILL love her! -

Highly recommend.
Working with Irish was a pleasure start to finish. The initial calls helped us layout the plan for the day and ensure all the right moments were captured. Day of Iris was sweet but strong in her direction and organization. My Dad (an Army Lt. Col) said "she really kept us in line and got the job done!" Thanks Iris! -

Iris is truly an experienced photographer who knows how to utilize lighting to capture the best images. We liked how direct she was with telling us where to go and what to do, and she did a great job keeping us on schedule. We received our pictures in a timely manner, and we were able to download the entire album of high quality images. Our friends and I all thought she was sweet, energetic, and a lot of fun to work with! -

Iris is truly THE BEST EVER! She was on top of communication, timeline, and was game for every fun creative picture idea. We had a huge wedding party of 14 and family photos which Iris did a great job managing on top of a rushed timeline due to late transportation. On top of everything she is like an instant best friend, creates a comfortable atmosphere immediately, and gives plenty of tips/tricks which was SO important being someone who doesn't feel totally natural in front of a camera. Our engagement photos and wedding sneak peaks have all turned out beautifully. Hands down Christina Schmidt Photography was our best wedding day decision- you will not regret booking! -

We were so happy that we found Iris to be our photographer for our engagement and wedding photos. We got to know each other during our engagement photo session and we knew then that we chose the perfect person. Iris listens to your preferences and took photos that truly felt unique and true to us as a couple. She also is a wealth of knowledge and is able to guide you during a photo session so that we made the most out of our time and were able to fit in as many amazing shots as possible. On our wedding day, Iris helped keep the day on schedule by following the plan for the day she created with us. We were so pleased with our wedding pictures and with Iris. She was a pleasure to work with, very friendly and easy to contact when needed. We would definitely recommend her! -

I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Iris at Christina Schmidt Photography. Iris is extremely professional and provided quality customer service. She helped make sure my day ran smoothly in every way, from helping with my schedule and executing it perfectly, to even having a back-up plan in place (in case of bad weather, etc). She has an impressive eye for detail and precision, and went above and beyond in everything she did! Most importantly she was dependable and made sure we were taken care of. From the first phone call I had with Iris she made me feel comfortable, listened to my ideas, and creatively turned my vision into more than I could've imagined. Iris made us feel like we had a friend taking our wedding photos. From our engagement session to our wedding day, Iris went out of her way to make sure every detail was perfect and help us plan along the way. She is passionate about photography and couples, and it shows in her photos! She also took away so much stress the day of the wedding. When things weren't exactly perfect (like an 80% chance of rain that came true!), Iris was right there with multiple plan B's to make sure things still went smoothly. We loved having her every step of the way! -

Choosing a photographer is hard, there are tons of them out there and they all are talented in their own ways. We met a few photographers before Iris, but Iris gave us the best in person connection. Iris is not only an extremely talented photographer but she is fun, bubbly, and easy to follow. You can tell she cares about you, your event and your photographs. Throughout the process she was always there to answer my questions and concerns. Iris helped us structure our timeline to be able to capture all of our biggest moments. She was truly amazing to work with. The photographs were off the chart. Iris captured our intimate, serious, and fun sides. Her eye for composition and light is outstanding. We could not have asked for a better photographer to spend our wedding day with. -

Always up for the challenge!
After canceling our big wedding in STL, we made the decision to have a small celebration in Wyoming. At that point, we had already hired Iris for our original wedding and I truly did not want to give up the alignment I felt between her style of photos and what I was envisioning for my wedding. So, I asked if she would fly across the country for our wedding and she accepted without any hesitation! We were so happy to have Iris during our engagement and wedding photos. She is easy to work with, and my husband and I always felt like a priority to her throughout the day. Our photos are so special and beautifully combine the happiness of the day with the incredible backdrop of the Tetons. We also purchased a wedding album through Iris and it is beautiful. Great quality and perfectly crafted to show our day from start to finish. Thank you for sticking with us, Iris! -

Professional and easy to work with
Iris and Sara are a great team and brought a lot of positive energy to my wedding day. They are both very professional and kind people. Iris was especially easy to work with even when COVID forced cancellations/rescheduling. Unfortunately the photos were lacking and went on for entirely too long. The team did not photograph my husband's face on the first look which was a very upsetting realization. Many group shots were not posed and look messy and disorganized while other shots were posed awkwardly. Overall there are plenty of serviceable photos but for the amount of time dedicated to photos and the price I would expect a higher quality. -
