Professional, fun and creative! Could not be happier with Christopher Belli Photography

We knew from our first call with Chris that he had to be our photographer! Chris is so passionate about capturing the love and uniqueness of each couple’s relationship and making sure the photos are personal and not generic. I definitely recommend getting the package that includes the engagement session, not only do you get great photos of your engagement but it gives you and Chris an opportunity to get to know each other and get a feel for your personality and is just a great ice breaker. Chris is so easy to work with. He gives great direction for ensuring he captures the photo but somehow they don’t look fake or staged but feel and look very organic....

For both sessions we had with him, he arrived early to get the lay of the land and come up with the most beautiful shots. His turn around time is super fast. Our custom wedding album is gorgeous, well put together and very high quality. I cannot give any higher praise. Our absolute favorite vendor of our entire wedding. I wish I could book him to just follow me around and photograph my life…but that would be weird. Would give more than five stars if we could!

Chris is an extremely talented, professional, and fun photographer to work with. He was recommended to us by our wedding planner and he exceeded all of our expectations. From the beginning, he took the time to get to know us personally and understand what was important to us so that he could capture this during our engagement pictures and wedding day. The Perfect Photographer for your Wedding Day

Chris has been an absolute pleasure to work with. I had met Chris prior to getting engaged due to a prior event four years ago and when I got engaged last year, he was the one vendor I absolutely had to rebook because he left an amazing impression the last time I had worked with him. Chris has been an absolute pleasure to work with. He is personable, loves (and is great at) what he does and shows a genuine interest in your needs/wants for your wedding day. He has by far been my favorite vendor to work with, he makes sure to respond to all when we have e-mail correspondence so I wasn't constantly forwarding e-mails on to my finance like I had to do for other vendors. He was always prompt at responding to e-mails and was more than willing to work with us on any requests we had. We first met with Chris for our engagement shoot and had so much fun working with him at the park he had suggested. Given Covid-19, he was respectful about keeping distance/wearing a mask where necessary and we even had some fun with some mask shots. Chris certainly has an eye for the little details and would make sure I swiped away any hairs in my face or adjusted a necklace prior to taking photos, he even would help us with where to place our hands or how best to sit for a certain photo. The turnaround time for our engagement pictures was crazy fast and we were absolutely blown away by the beauty of our pictures. As the wedding day approached, Chris made sure to set up a call to plan out our day and ensure any picture requests that we might have were written down. We had a live document leading up to the wedding day of any pictures we may want along with a list of all formal shots needed. On the day of the wedding, Chris and his partner for the day, Jim, showed up early and got to work taking pictures and staging photos. He kept us on track and on time the entire day and came prepared with a list of all formal shots we had requested. They were also quick to pivot at any last-minute requests we had. Chris also made sure to get an amazing night shot right before they headed out for the night. Following the wedding Chris kept us updated with timing of photos and what to expect. Even with the wedding, he blew us away with how quickly he provided us the wedding photos and each and every one was absolutely stunning. For this particular event we did not choose to purchase a photo book as it wasn’t in our budget; however, for the last event I did have Chris complete a photo album and the process was super smooth – Chris would draft the initial copy of the book and then I would be able to add comments/notes about possible changes I would like to see. There would be a couple iterations of this process and the end result was absolutely beautiful. If it’s in your budget, I’d highly recommend having Chris creating a photo album for you as well. I can’t say enough good things about Chris – I would continue to hire him again and again if I could. If you’re looking for someone who is going to produce amazing memories of this wonderful time in your life and make sure you have a fun time while doing it, I would definitely recommend you hire Christopher Belli Photography.

I have so many wonderful things to say about Chris and his talent! His photography is so beautiful and creative, and my husband and I were very happy with all of our pictures. He did such an amazing job capturing our special day. Leading up to our wedding, he was very easy to communicate with, and quick to respond to emails and phone calls. Chris didn't miss a detail! To top it off, he is very personable, fun, and a joy to spend time with. Thank you so much Chris, we will cherish them forever! It included all of the special photos we wanted and the names of each member of our bridal party and immediate family. Our bridal party was quite large, but Chris made sure he knew everyone's names! On the day of our wedding, Chris and Marek (his second photographer) made everything go smoothly. They were both professional, polite, patient, and caring. I may be biased, but our wedding photos are amazing. I have been told by friends, family, and coworkers that my husband and I "look like models" or "could be in a professional magazine". Chris and Marek captured every moment and emotion from our wedding day. It was like experiencing my wedding day all over again while viewing the pictures. The moment I met with Chris Belli, I knew he was the one - photographer that is! He is very friendly, easy to work with and definitely pays attention to detail! Chris did both my engagement and wedding session and he was excellent both times! Both sessions were outdoors in cold weather (one in November, the other in December) and Chris remained un-phased by the temperature. He went above and beyond by fluffing my dress, picking lint of my groom and laying on the ground in downtown Detroit, just to get perfect pictures for us on our big day! Additionally, my husband can be very shy, but he too loved working with Chris Belli, since he was able to joked with us, made us laugh and made us feel very comfortable!

We were so happy with the photos, we had him create our unique save-the-dates.

On our wedding day he was a calming presence, which is something that any bride will greatly appreciate! He was very helpful and organized and really listened to what we wanted. Somewhat last minute we decided to hire a videographer with an assistant. They had never before met Chris and his assistant, yet they worked together like they had been doing so for many years. Chris had all of our wedding photos available for us to view in a timely manner, as soon as we returned from our honeymoon. The photos were amazing, we are incredibly happy with them! His work is exceptional. He created a beautiful album for us which we were able to personalize exactly how we wanted and we absolutely love it and will cherish it for years to come.

Like we were told it would, the wedding day really did fly by. In a short time the food was eaten, the cake was devoured, the dress was worn and the flowers were wilting. The money we spent on it all was gone. But our photos froze the most important day of our lives forever in time. If there is one thing you should make the investment in for your wedding, it is the most talented wedding photographer out there – Christopher Belli Photography, the photos you will get with him are priceless. He truly deserves all the great reviews!

To close this review out, I want to share just one specific anecdote: My husband had seen a particular wedding party photo and REALLY wanted to do it. Chris and his second shooter finished a wedding early the night before ours, and took the time to scout out a perfect location to get the ideal perspective for the images. The results were unbelievable, and I cannot thank Chris enough for his hard work and wonderfulness across the board, and particularly in getting this one series of photographs absolutely perfect.

Chris is an absolute joy to work with! He is incredibly personable so you feel at ease while you're "modeling" for pictures. I don't typically enjoy posing for photos, but Chris made it fun and easy to get in front of the camera. I did not once feel uncomfortable or unnatural. I really appreciated his organization and thoroughness in getting all the details covered before our wedding. It made it really easy (not only for photography purposes) but keeping the timeline on track for the whole day. He maps out locations and works up a timeline to keep everything on track. If you work with Chris, you know you're working with someone you can trust!

Chris was the best of all our vendors! From the start to even now we continue to communicate!!! We found Chris by looking online for local photographers, narrowed our search to our top 5 and met with each one. Choosing Chris was the best we could have done!! So friendly, helpful, guides you throughout the day, organized with a timeline so you don't feel rushed! Our guests thought he was a family friend since my husband and I worked so great with him!!! This man is an amazing photographer. Easy to work with, inspired, and made everyone feel comfortable durring the long sets of taking pictures, right from the beginning in the hotel suite when all my bridesmaids and i were getting ready, running around like maniacs running late for everything and not acting very ladylike! Chris is professional, yet personable. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met and he ENJOYS what he does. It is calming knowing that the person shooting your wedding wants to be there and is just as excited as you are! He is prompt to respond to emails. An example is, the day I filled out that form on his website he called me! within hours I spoke with him!
Our engagement session was our first photo session with him and it was SOOO much fun. Sometimes when you do a photo shoot it can seem awkward and you feel like your faking the emotion; with Chris instructing us it felt natural. Everyone we showed our pictures to said, Wow, if your engagement pictures are this good, I can only imagine what your wedding pictures will look like!
The day of the wedding was amazing; at the end of the night I didn't want him to leave! He started at my house, followed to the church and even joined us on the party bus!
There are not enough words in the English language for me to explain to you how Chris completed our wedding. Photographs speak 1000 words. If he is out of your budget, take money from some where else and put it for here, I promise you will not regret it... if you do call me and I'll pay for it ;)
We just recently saw our wedding photos and were blown away! My in-laws saw them and cried because how beautiful they were.
Thank you Chris, from both Anthony and I for the AMAZING job you did. You captured our day and we will have these memories for the rest of our lives.

Chris was THE BEST photographer we could have ever imagined on our wedding day. Words can't describe how pleased we were with him and his work. We met with a few different photographers but no one was as personable and talented as Chris. From our first meeting Chris was always available and prompt to answer questions by phone and e-mail. We really appreciated how Chris happily worked with us and our busy schedules for our engagement session and all of our pre-wedding and photo-ordering meetings. All of our friends and family at the wedding thought he was so nice, professional, talented and funny! When we saw our final wedding photos we were blown away, they were everything and more...

Chris was absolutely amazing! He captured so many unique and one of a kind shots! He worked so well with us and our time schedule the day of the wedding. His photos really told the story of our day! One thing that was really awesome was by the time we got back from our honeymoon he was ready to meet us to show us all our photos! We highly recommend Chris Belli.

We were extremely happy with Christopher's work from day one. He provided us with a ton of great information and was extremely helpful in planning our big day. In the beginning, he told us that he liked to tell the story of our day with his photographs and that is exactly what he did. The photographs were amazing - very candid and really just brought out our personalities in them. Our album turned out really great as well, we could not have been happier with his work.

We first met with Chris to discuss our wedding and instantly knew we wanted to hire him to photograph our wedding. Chris was kind, patient, personable, and thorough. Most importantly our family members observed how patient and respectful Chris and his staff was. He was reasonably priced and I absolutely love my pictures and wedding book. Highly recommended!!!
