Amazing all around!
I happened upon Chris by looking through NY Mag's list of wedding photographers, and am so happy that I did! I was looking for a more photojournalistic style of wedding photography, and that's exactly what Chris is an expert in. We had Chris photograph our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner and then both Chris and his wife Jasmine photograph our wedding. We loved working with them every step of the way! They are beyond accommodating, so much fun to work with, and everyone raved about how much they enjoyed having them there the day of the wedding. Chris delivered the photos so quickly after the wedding and they are everything that we could have wanted. Christopher Lane Wedding Photography
Working with Chris and Jasmine was such a great experience! They were always very accessible during the planning process, and were open to our direction and feedback. Chris was more than happy to do our engagement shoot, and provided pictures well in advance of when they promised to us. They have photographed many weddings not only at our venue (Maritime Parc), but in the Hoboken/Jersey City area, and had great location suggestions for photos. Their package is priced very fair and you get a lot of value and high quality photos for the cost. They were both so friendly to work with, and they made sure to position themselves perfectly throughout the day to capture all the beautiful photos...Working with Chris and Jasmine was such a great experience! They were always very accessible during the planning process, and were open to our direction and feedback. Chris was more than happy to do our engagement shoot, and provided pictures well in advance of when they promised to us. We received our sneak peek photos 1-2 days after our wedding, and then received all digital photos less than a month after our wedding. Chris went above and beyond and added additional requested photos, and even provided color edits of photos originally shared in black and white. We can't say enough good things about working with Chris and Jasmine, and would recommend them to anyone for their wedding! -

Obsessed with our Wedding Pictures!
Chris and his wife Jasmine were the most amazing team to work with on our wedding day! They are both beyond talented captured the most beautiful pictures on our wedding day. They knew so many great spots around Jersey City to take unique pictures and they all came out better than the next. They were both so much fun to spend the day with and have a great dynamic. The posed pictures look beautiful and the candids even better! They captured so many moments throughout the day that we didn't even realize they were capturing. They were so efficient, receiving our photos just 3 weeks after out wedding and we still can't stop looking at them over a month later! High recommend to all future brides and grooms!Chris and his wife Jasmine were the most amazing team to work with on our wedding day! Chris Lane and Jasmine did an unbelievable job photographing my wedding at the Liberty House in Jersey City. I had a large bridal party (17 people) and large immediate family and was worried about getting all the right shots of everyone, but they executed it so extremely well. He got us our photos back within just a few weeks time and we love every single one of them! He was very easy to work with and made everything go super smooth on what can be a pretty chaotic day. We're so glad we chose Christopher Lane Photography for our big day! Chris and Jas were a pleasure to work with. They arrived ahead of schedule to make sure they didn't miss any photo opps and took us to a beautiful park by our wedding venue to have some diversity in our pictures. They also did a great job managing our families and friends and remembering everyone's names. They were very flexible and easy to work with and were very responsive to our requests even after the wedding. My experience with Christopher Lane Photography was absolutely incredible. Chris is such a talented photographer and has such a great personality. He was super responsive and made the planning process so easy. We also received all of our edited photos within one month of our wedding which was amazing. I am completely blown away by the photographs from our wedding. He was able to capture such beautiful moments in photographs that we'll treasure forever. A True Gem in Wedding Photographers
I have nothing but praise for Christopher Lane. He is honestly one of the best photographers we have worked with and seen from all the weddings we have been to. From the very beginning, at our first meeting, Christopher came prepared and blew my fiance and I away. In a city where there are so many options (of which, I researched many!), Christopher was a no brainer for us. How many wedding photographers do you know that also have photographed two presidents? Our number one concern was the ease of the relationship with the photographer and access to photos. Of course the quality of work and price as well. Chris could not been anymore incredible on all fronts. He delivered on time, never held anything hostage and was so easy to work with. We still use him to this day and our wedding was 5 years ago.

I got married in July of 2013, and we selected Christopher and Jasmine as our wedding photographers without even considering anyone else because the best photos of us that we already had(including the one we used as our invitation to our engagement party)were ones that they had taken at our friend's weddings. We had been to I think three other weddings that they photographed, and I loved the way that they were able to capture the different spirit of each couple getting married.
I appreciated that they were willing to be as involved or as laid back as we wanted them to be. I planned our wedding while I was finishing a graduate program and had very...I got married in July of 2013, and we selected Christopher and Jasmine as our wedding photographers without even considering anyone else because the best photos of us that we already had(including the one we used as our invitation to our engagement party)were ones that they had taken at our friend's weddings. We had been to I think three other weddings that they photographed, and I loved the way that they were able to capture the different spirit of each couple getting married.
I appreciated that they were willing to be as involved or as laid back as we wanted them to be. I planned our wedding while I was finishing a graduate program and had very little time to focus on it, and Christopher was very responsive and reliable. I think he would have answered a million emails or phone calls, but he was also happy to not hear from me for three months, which was relaxing.
We had a big wedding in a relatively small space, and when I got the photos back I was so impressed with the shots of people dancing and talking in groups, I feel like those are hard to do well. They took so many photos! We had a good mix of the traditional posed shots and more documentary style photos. It was important to us to get the posed photos done quickly so we could be part of the party, and they organized everybody and got beautiful photos surprisingly quickly. They were great with parents and guests... lovely people to have at your wedding. I would highly recommend them. -

We are so happy that we hired Christopher Lane as our wedding photographer! We were referred to him by our officiant, the "Jester of the Peace", who considers him her favorite wedding photographer. Now he's ours too! When we first met with him, we were impressed with his portfolio of work as a documentary and portrait photographer and how he uses the same artistic approach for weddings. He was as averse to the typical wedding poses and factory formula as we were and when we told him about our vision and plans for our wedding, he was so excited we knew he was the right photographer for us. On our special day, he and his wife Jasmine were supremely...We are so happy that we hired Christopher Lane as our wedding photographer! We also really appreciated his use of film as well as digital, and the option for old-fashioned 4 by 6 prints included in the package. Christopher also worked with us to create a custom photo-booth for our reception, which was a much better deal than the other photo-booth companies we considered. We are thrilled with the photos and grateful for the experience of working with Christopher as not just a photographer for hire, but a co-creator of visual storytelling. -

AND you have to entrust a complete stranger to do it! I am so glad that we chose Chris... I really couldn't be any happier with the quality and amount of fantastic shots that they nailed so we can remember such an amazing day. -

After seeing the amazing photos Chris took at my brother-in-law's wedding, we knew he was the only one we wanted for our wedding too. He does such an amazing job at capturing the feeling of the moment! Our wedding pictures are wicked awesome! Not only are his pictures great, but he's also wonderful at interacting with everyone involved. He was just like part of the family. And by the time we got back from our honeymoon, he had the pictures ready to review. I really can't say enough good things about him, he was great! I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer.
