Christy is hands down AMAZING! If she is available for your date - BOOK HER NOW! I booked Christy and her team for my wedding and it was the best decision. I normally don't wear a lot of makeup and have trouble finding artists who align with my vision. Christy truly goes above and beyond to listen to your vision and help you feel even more stunning during your most special moments. Everyone in my wedding party loved her and her team. I also did my makeup trial with Christy and it was great prep to understand what look I eventually wanted for my wedding. 100000/10 - would recommend her to everyone. I can't stop raving about her and I'm so happy with my experience! -

Christy is such a gem!! I can’t recommend her enough!
She has the best energy. We connected instantly during my makeup trial and she made me feel more beautiful than I have ever felt. I NEVER feel pretty when I am not wearing my glasses because I am self conscious about my eyes, but Christy was able to work her magic and make feel radiant and confident. I didn’t wear my glasses in any photos!!
Her team is very professional, on time, and overall wonderful. My entire wedding party looked and felt gorgeous. Christy and her team are up to date on all the new bridal trends, and they were able to create perfect looks for all of us that suited all of our unique personalities very well.
Thanks so much Christy! My wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without you! -

I cannot say enough great things about Christy - she is truly amazing! I am definitely a shy bride as some would say but her warm personality immediately put me at ease during my bridal hair and makeup trial which was my initial meeting with her. She is not only super talented in what she does but she is also incredibly sweet, fun, and attentive. She even gave me a personalized skincare routine leading up to the wedding, which was so thoughtful and I believe helped!! She completely exceeded my expectations. I really did not now if I was able to rock the inspiration photos I showed her. I really was not sure how it would turn out, but Christy worked her magic and I felt absolutely stunning during the trial and my wedding day! My makeup stayed flawless all day and night, with hardly any need for touch-ups. I really enjoyed the whole day and night without having to worry of how I looked. I received countless compliments throughout the day and that is all due to Christy! I felt beautiful in every moment.
She also styled the hair/makeup for three other members of my bridal party. They were thrilled with her work as well. Christy's patience, understanding and joyful spirit made the entire experience even more special. I cannot thank her enough for making my wedding day so memorable. Choosing Christy was one of the best decisions I made!I highly recommend Christy for brides-to-be or anyone who needs to get their hair and make up done. Great service and people!
Christy and her staff were amazing! My hair and makeup lasted all day and night. She made little tweaks based on my requests after the trial and was always open to feedback to make sure everyone loved their looks. They did beautiful natural makeup and hair for my maid of honor, mother, and mother in law. I really appreciated how both Christy and Summer were calm under the high intensity of the wedding day and were genuinely lovely people to spend time with. Highly recommend her! -

If you are looking for an artist you can trust as an east asian bride looking for hollywood waves, Christy is your girl! Hair and make up was an absolute priority for me, and Christy was always kind, professional, and thorough. She made me feel so heard and taken care of throughout the whole process, not just the day of, but also in the weeks leading up to the day. She went above and beyond to ensure my look was perfect, even very generously offering me a complimentary second trial right before my wedding day! My hair and make up was exactly what I wanted, and my make up still looked amazing at the end of the night even though I didn’t have time to use the touch up kit! She definitely earned my trust! -

Christy’s talent is like nothing I have ever seen before. She spends the time to understand your vision, and completely executes beyond expectations.
Brides - DO the hair and makeup trial. It gives you such a great opportunity to get to know Christy and feel confident about your wedding day look. I even ended up booking her for my tea ceremony the day before my wedding - I wanted to look and feel my best which is what Christy is so good at. She is professional, kind, communicative, and makes you feel totally at ease.
Christy pays attention to the details (spent lots of time and effort on my eyeliner which was super trademark to me) and is an ARTIST with makeup. Trust her completely. I have such such straight hair that hardly holds any curl, and the relaxed glam waves she gave me were so perfect and lasted all night. She also worked on my bridesmaids hair and makeup which was INCREDIBLE. Some girls said it was better than what they looked like for their own weddings!
I could go on and on about how incredible Christy is, and how everyone complimented my look all wedding day (and even weeks afterwards), but the bottom line is that you will never regret choosing this wonderful woman to be on your wedding team. -

I had the opportunity to work with Christy for a bridal hair trial and also my bridal hair. First of all, I just want to say that Christy is freaking amazing. She is a strong, independent, friendly, and kind woman and I am so blessed to have met her. From the get-go, her vibe was so welcoming that I felt immediately comfortable. She is so great that she made me cry during the bridal hair trial and I can confidently say, she is one of the best in her field. Not only does she create magic through her hair and makeup, she is also extremely informational and educational about so much.
She also did the hair of some of the girls in my wedding party including my mother and mother-in-law and I received nothing but praise and excitement from the girls. They commented on how they absolutely loved how their hair turned out and some even made comments saying that they want Christy for their future weddings and events. I also received a comment from a guest saying, “Your hair alone was everything” and I was like, “Mhm! Christy did THAT -

The moment I messaged Christy, I could already tell l loved her energy and vibe. She was super responsive on Instagram and text and if she knew she is going to be busy over the next few days, she would always let me know. Christy made me feel so comfortable when she was doing my hair and makeup and it felt like I was talking to a longtime friend even though I had just met her! A few of my bridesmaids and my mom got their hair or makeup done by Christy, and they instantly said the same thing about Christy’s energy and personality.
I did my HMU trial on the day of my bridal shower and it was insanely hot that day. I was sweating so much but my makeup and hair did not budge and looked the same by the end of the day. And to clarify, my makeup did NOT look cakey at all! So Christy knows how to make your makeup look flawless while also having insane staying power. I got lucky on my wedding day where the weather was actually very cool despite being in August. But I was already so confident that there would be no issues with my hair or makeup melting off, and of course, Christy did my hair and makeup flawlessly and it lasted the whole night!
I highly recommend doing a trial if you don’t have a strong opinion about what you want for your look. I was struggling to figure out what I wanted exactly but doing a trial really helped me pinpoint what I wanted for myself. Christy is so helpful with this process and is very open to feedback, which made me feel comfortable discussing changes I wanted. I already loved my look during the trial but Christy helped me figure out what I needed to tweak to help me feel more like myself on my wedding day.
Overall, I loved Christy and I highly, highly recommend reaching out to her if you need hair and makeup for any event! Christy is the best!! -

There is nobody better than Christy. The most talented, real, kind, loving, safe, and nurturing soul. She not only did my make-up for my wedding, but also my hair and make-up for my rehearsal dinner. Her presence made me feel so calm all weekend and she listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted. She also gave me so many skin tips and change my skin. I'm so lucky to know her and will use her for any event I ever have. The best of the best. Could not recommend enough! -

I recently had the pleasure of working with Christy, and she exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I met her during the bridal trial, I could tell she was incredibly down to earth and that I could trust her with my desired look. She worked with me to capture the vibe of what I was going for; she offered suggestions and insights along the way based on her experience which was so helpful. She went beyond what I anticipated - asking about my dress, accessories, and looking at my photographer's past work to see how the makeup might turn out in photos. She also demonstrated understanding of color theory and varying skin tones which worked well for me and the bridal party. It was evident that she genuinely cared about making sure I felt and looked my best. I honestly wish she could do my hair and makeup every day. I loved working with Christy! She did my bridal hair and makeup. She had also done my hair and makeup trial, so she was familiar with the fact that I don't usually wear makeup. She gave me a perfect natural glam look. She also gave me an updo that held strong during a particularly windy day at Palos Verdes Estates. Christy was so amazing to work with! She is so knowledgable about all different face and eye shapes. I often feel like I look not like myself when I have my makeup professionally done, but I did not feel that way at all on my wedding day! Christy is absolutely amazing and SO good at what she does!! I watched Christy do my friend's HMU on her wedding day (she actually also left an amazing review here too!) and knew she was the one! I feel soooo lucky to have been able to book Christy for HMU for my wedding day: even without being able to do a trial run because of COVID 19, Christy perfectly captured who I was in hair and make up!! You know, I'm really not the type of girl to know exactly what I want, especially when it comes to hair and make up. But with the little description I gave Christy, she NAILED it. I've received sooo many complements and our wedding photos came out amazing!!
During the process, Christy has been very down to earth, chill, affirming, so easy to talk to... I literally changed plans like 3 times and Christy remained so so very understanding and supportive throughout the whole processes! Definitely recommending Christy to anyone looking for an amazing HMU artist!! -
