  Chrystal is an amazing individual. My partner and I are so thankful that we were able to work with her for our wedding day. Not every officiant would be happy and smiling getting soaked due to rain during the whole ceremony! (: What an incredible day. Chrystal was prompt in her response to our inquiries and requests. We live in Raleigh but planned our wedding in Asheville and Chrystal was able to meet with us while we were in town a couple months before our wedding to plan the ceremony. Chrystal personalized the ceremony and took into consideration our uniqueness. We did a unity painting and she was able to create dialogue describing how the painting was a symbol of our unity. She also was very respectful and made the ceremony what we wanted, rather than following traditional ceremony layouts.
  Other awesome things: The day of our wedding it was pouring rain. She contacted us that morning to let us know other possible days that she was available if we wanted to reschedule due to the weather and having an outdoor ceremony (how thoughtful and sweet!). Also, I found this out way after our wedding day, but apparently another wedding was happening in the gardens where we were scheduled to get married, and the other couple's officiant did not show. We actually were delayed and arrived approximately 10-15 minutes late to the location. So, while Chrystal was patiently waiting the other couple asked her to perform their wedding. Chrystal let them know that she was scheduled and booked for our wedding and that our wedding was the one she was scheduled and doing that day. I am not sure the specifics of the conversation, but all of this is just a testament to how awesome Chrystal is and that when you decide to work with her, she makes a commitment to you and your big day!

  Chrystal treats each celebration with the same care she would for a family member. She is a very warm loving person whose integrity and professionalism is without. Question! She also takes the time to unselfishly mentor new ministers. What an incredible lady!

  We were introduced to Chrystal once Same Sex Marriage became legal in North Carolina. Chrystal was kind, accommodating, and made herself available on short notice as we wanted to be married on our 5th anniversary. She performed our ceremony as we requested and blessed our union.

  As a older gay couple we were quite nervous and also so very excited that we could finally be married after being together 12 years. Chyrstal was able to accommodate us with a very short notice and also made us feel so at ease. We got married at her chapel and the actual
  ceremony as well as the chapel was
  beautiful. A memory we were able to capture with pictures and will never forget. Chyrstal was awesome.

  Chrystal did the memorial services for both of my parents and for my best friend's father. Her care for the family, professionalism in learning about the deceased and needs/wants of the family, and her absolutely beautiful messages were a true gift to me and all of my family.

  Chrystal was an amazing wedding officiant. She officiated at my daughter's wedding where we had a mixed crowd of Christians, Muslims, and non-believers. In the last week or so, we had to change the place, and she was very flexible and easy-going. Chrystal was so professional that everyone felt totally comfortable with her manner and words. She also did my brother's funeral; once again it was a very mixed crowd and she was perfect!

  Chrystal officiated at the wedding of our nephew several years ago. You couldn't ask for a more professional, thorough, responsive, or caring person for the job! No detail was missed including taking care of the legal side of the event. I cannot imagine anyone being unsatisfied with her services.

  Chrystal was wonderful to work with--accommodating, kind, flexible and understanding. We had a special situation in addition considering my daughter-in-law was Chinese and the service had to be done in both English and Mandarin. I would highly recommend Chrystal!

  Rev. Chrystal Cook helped perform an ordination service. She could not have been more professional . The ceremony was everything we could have hoped for. She has the ability to make everyone feel they know the celebrant on a very personal level. She brings insightful stories into the ceremony that engages the guest.
  I have personally known Crystal for over 11 years. She is real and sincere in all her endeavors. I have been able to witness many a church event that she has coordinated . I always leave uplifted and filled to my core.
  If you want your event to feel warm , sincere and inviting you should not hesitate to secure Rev. Cook to perform any ceremony you need conducted.
