  Booking our ceremony at City House was the greatest thing we could have done for our wedding. We were able to rent out the entire house for the weekend at a really reasonable rate, providing rooms for all of our immediate families to stay in and spend quality time together.
  City House works with many other vendors in the area so they were able to point us in the right direction to get our outside tent and tables & chairs for the reception. Communication was super easy and quick! This was the perfect place for our rehearsal dinner and reception. There were so many options for people to sit inside, have more intimate conversations on the couch or in the sunroom or on the front porch. Everyone from our wedding simply raved about this venue. We didn't even need to pay for a dance floor--we just danced in the parking lot

  City House B&B is a real hidden gem in Harrisburg-- and perfect for those who want a more intimate affair. We were able to book all four rooms in the house to ensure a private affair, utilizing the yard for the ceremony and reception. The innkeeper, Bruce, is great. He answered all questions promptly, and ensured both our wedding, reception, and stay at the house was enjoyable and memorable. Check this place out!!

  Small wedding in the city

  Absolutely everything that we wanted for our "simple but fancy, laid-back" wedding weekend in the city - it was great to stay with our wedding party, wake up to tasty breakfast and coffee each morning, and it was smooth sailing into our event setup and breakdown. Very easy to work with for everything we needed!

  We rented City House for the entire weekend of our wedding, staying with our bridal party in the 4 guest rooms, and using the house and the grounds for our rehearsal dinner and reception. First off, this property is gorgeous inside and out! Secondly, Hanni, the Innkeeper, and Erica, the Owner, were nothing short of fabulous to work with from booking the house to the execution of the events! If you're considering staying here, or booking it for an event--do it, you will not be disappointed. The house was the perfect site for realizing our wedding dreams: beautiful architecture and design, stunning river views (especially at sunset), perfect accommodations and amenities and wonderfully priced. Our guests repeatedly commented to us on how impressed they were with the venue. I wish I could do the whole weekend over and over and over again. Thank you!
