Charming and historic wedding venue
Aki and the entire city tavern club team are the best of the best. They made our wedding planning experience seamless and not stressful at all. I loved the historic charm of the location. They were so kind to the rest of my vendors, flexible with our wedding timeline and thoughtful with every detail we chose. It was such an incredible day and the City Tavern team made us feel so welcome and at ease. I would recommend using their space for future events too. Our families loved the location and our out of town guests got the full DC experience. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice to have our wedding there! -

CTC made our dream wedding possible!
City Tavern Club was such an amazing venue and had such amazing food and service that words cannot do it justice. The team was extremely detail oriented and provided great advice and guidance while also listening to and implementing our ideas! The space is also simply beautiful with so much historic significance. I would recommend CTC to anyone and everyone! -

My now husband and I had our small wedding reception at CTC with 18 guests. It was the perfect venue for this size or really for many other sizes as CTC has different room offerings. Carrie the club manager helped us tremendously as the event planner was leaving her position. We loved the food, drinks, room setup, and bartender and servers. I especially enjoyed the crab dip and salmon with cream sauce. I don’t have any complaints. I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews of weddings here as it is a great venue in a wonderful location! -

Great Venue
Our wedding turned out wonderful! Kimberly is great to work with at the Club. She is prompt with every answer and super helpful. The food at CTC is absolutely wonderful. Even though it is a split venue it flows great and is super convenient for guest traveling in and out of town. -

We hosted an intimate dinner with our families ahead of our wedding weekend. With just ten of us, Heather and team created a beautiful cocktail hour and dinner in the Jefferson Library and adjoining Governor's Room. What a perfect evening - our families could relax and enjoy each other's company followed by a delicious dinner. We did not have to worry much about anything - planning the menu was a breeze. Dinner was delicious, the ambiance was perfect, such a seamless night! -

Hidden Gem in Georgetown, D.C.!
This is by far the best wedding venue in Washington D.C. for an intimate wedding reception. As one of the oldest buildings in the state (the 1790's) it has incredible historical presence with a modern feel. We used the beautiful Grand Hall and adjacent rooms for our cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Their Event Coordinator, Heather, was incredible. She was responsive to our needs (including customizing table settings and layouts), very flexible with our vendors, and ensured that the evening went smoothly. And the food was great, too! It was the experience of a lifetime. -
