  Love love love!

  CJ's DJ's is awesome! We actually had to postpone our wedding for a year due to Covid, but they were super understanding, easy to communicate with, and made the whole process seamless. Scott was our DJ and he was amazing! He was very attentive and communicative the whole night and made sure our ceremony and reception flowed smoothly. He played all of our favorite hits and the dance floor was never empty! We had lots of compliments at the end of the night and I could not have asked for a better experience.

  Chris throws an awesome party

  The most stressful part of wedding planning for me was probably the DJ: I’ve been to several weddings with empty dance floors, bad music, or DJs who just did their own thing--even when the bride or groom asked them to play something else. This was NOT the case with Chris. I’ve never seen a dance floor immediately fill up when dancing opened (seriously, there were like two people sitting) or stay full the whole night. The dance floor was so crowded that we had to ask the venue to blast the AC. At one point, my MOH abruptly left a conversation to run onto the dance floor, and I often saw people dancing at the bar while they waited for their drinks. One of our guests “complained” that he hated Chris because the music was too good and he never took a break from dancing. Our other complaint (this was a real one) was from a guest who said Chris had denied her request: when my husband asked him about it, Chris said he was happy to play it but he thought we wouldn’t want him to--and he was totally right! This wasn’t even a song on our “Do Not Play”; Chris just understood our vibe and stuck to it the entire night. I danced for almost three hours straight, which is exactly what I wanted from our wedding. It’s also worth noting that he cut our first dance song down by about two minutes and did such a good job that at first my husband thought he’d accidentally sent us the original file. If you want your wedding to be a big party with a packed dance floor, you should hire Chris.

  Chris - Phenomenal DJ

  I don't normally leave reviews but I feel the need to after our wedding on Saturday. Chris was amazing. As the groom I had a few major tasks in the wedding, one of which was selecting a DJ. I wanted someone who could do two things. 1) Play excellent music that we liked (and not play what we didn't like) and 2) Have complete control of the room as our wedding was pretty big. Chris went above and beyond in both categories and we could not have been happier. Planning the wedding can be stressful at times but Chris removed the stress from the ceremony and reception because we felt he had it all under control...And he did! There were, of course, some last minute changes and he handled them like they were part of the original plan. We could not have been happier with the choice we made and highly recommend Chris!

  We hired CJ’s Disc Jockey service for our wedding. Chris was AMAZING to work with and he repeatedly went above and beyond to help us make our wedding exactly as we had dreamed it. Scott was our DJ for the night of our wedding and he was the best! He even took the time to come check on me and make sure everything was going as planned. Our guests had a blast dancing the night away. Everything went off without a hitch. We couldn’t have asked for better service! We HIGHLY recommend working with CJ’s Disc Jockey service. They are the only way to go!

  I honestly don't know where to begin in describing how incredible it was to work with Chris. From the first time we met, he was very easy to talk to and it was apparent he was willing to go the extra mile. He listened to what we wanted, made recommendations and gave advice based on his experience, and did everything humanly possible to ensure that we did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. He helped make our day 100% perfect. I would recommend Chris to anyone - he will make your lives so much easier!

  Chris was AMAZING. His attention to detail and creative mind made our ceremony and reception beautiful and fun. I planned most of my wedding while living in Minnesota, and he was always accessible by phone. We have had a lot of compliments about our wedding. Most people said that they had a lot of fun dancing. Chris played a fun variety of songs and kept the party going all night. If you are looking for a DJ, I cannot recommend Chris enough.

  Talk about getting a party started and keeping it going for the whole night! Chris was absolutely fantastic, from helping us plan and pick songs to ensuring we always had a drink and that no one left the dance floor, he is truly an amazing person and DJ! He truly did everything he could to ensure our reception was everything we wanted. We had asked our photo booth company to project the pictures onto the stage and Chris ran out to Best Buy just before the reception to buy the right cords so they could make it happen. We could not have been more happy with the music, uplighting and the friend we made with Chris. We would highly, highly recommend him to anyone who wants the night of their life on their wedding night! Thank you for everything Chris!

  I was referred to CJ's Disc Jockey Service through a friend who was in the wedding business. After my initial e-mail, Chris Johnson (the owner), called me that evening and spoke to me on the phone for almost 45 minutes about our event and our likes and dislikes with DJ's. The personal attention we received was hands down the reason we went with CJ's DJ's. We were not sorry. We received amazing service from Chris up until the week before the wedding when we were introduced to the actual DJ we would be using at our wedding reception. He was friendly and accommodating and really listened to the way we wanted our day laid out. We let the DJ play most of the music just feeling out the crowd. We didn't choose too many "must play" songs, and he did a great job. Our dance floor was filled all night long. He really knew how to feel the crowd and make everyone happy. Couldn't be more pleased with our choice.

  WOW! We had our initial meet-n-greet where we got to know each other and discuss services offered and what we needed. As we planned the details of the ceremony & reception, we were able to input requests and other information into our own personalized page within his database. This put our minds at ease because we could "change our answers" so to speak-it really put us in control. Chris was exceptional the day of our wedding. He was very interactive with the staff and was willing to help were support was needed. He even carried my plate to the head table for me-how chivalrous. Throughout dinner, he took drink orders for the wedding party and made sure we were well taken care of. He even helped the caterer breakdown the serving tables when it was time to transition into dancing. I really could go on-an-on. Chris was very mindful of what we wanted and delivered so much more than we could ever imagine. We hired Chris to DJ our wedding but we got so much more than that!

  Booking CJ's was the greatest decision we made. He was very professional and his music choice was amazing! He did exactly what we asked and put a spin to make it even better. We received compliments all night about our DJ. The music makes a wedding and he made ours the greatest wedging!

  Do yourself a favor and just book CJ! He's amazing. Super professional, extremely entertaining and he will make sure you have every song perfect to ensure that the guests have a good time and get on the floor to dance. Some of the great memories I have from my reception was talking with him! He's awesome!

  CJ was great. He provided a playlist of thousands of song titles, then spoke with my daughter & her fiance in advance about music selections at the reception and honored their requests. He was ready to set up microphones at the ceremony as soon as the doors opened. He quickly set up his system at the reception. He was receptive to last minute requests from the bride & groom, as well as their parents, made announcements, kept the party moving. Guests were on the dance floor the entire evening!

  I met Ryan and CJ at a wedding show in January 2014 and knew right off the bat that I liked them. We hired Ryan from CJ's and he was terrific! We wanted a fun wedding where there were songs for everyone to dance to, and really enjoy themselves. Ryan delivered! He worked in some songs from my dad's playlist, which won him major brownie points. He did a great mixture of fast dancing, and slow moving songs and the night flowed very well.
  
  He also set up outdoor speakers and microphones for the ceremony, and had every song I wanted ready to go! The ceremony was flawless. We loved Ryan and CJ. They met with us, and were in constant communication. The online form for the wedding timeline and songs is a great resource and actually helped me plan out the day.

  CJ'S DJ Service was wonderful to work with. Rob was our DJ at the reception and he did a great job. True professional. He had the music going all night and I'm pretty sure there were always people on the dance floor. He was terrific! Also worked with Chris alot and he was very nice and professional as well. Met with him and Rob together twice before wedding and both provided ideas and suggestions for a wonderful, fun reception! We had the gobo and uplighting and it was beautiful!! Definitely get the uplighting!! It truly transforms your room/venue and it looks amazing!! You can't go wrong with booking with CJ's DJ service! Highly recommend them!!

  My wedding was perfect and it was thanks to Cjs Djs. Rob was my Dj and he was great! He made everything very easy for me. I just relaxed and he took control. We also played the newlywed game. It was something different. Everyone said they loved it. I was the happiest bride. Chris the owner was also very helpful i talked with him alot.

  Chris Johnson is phenomenal at what he does. We were lucky enough to find him by attending a wedding that he DJ'd, and he knows how to work a party like no other DJ I've ever seen. My husband (fiance at the time) both looked at each other and agreed immediately that this guy would have to DJ our wedding. We didn't even have a date set yet, nor did we know what he would charge, but it totally didn't matter - he's that good. He is creative, organized, thoughtful, professional, and just an amazing DJ. Book this guy - your reception will be SUCH a party.

  The owner and his staff are very helpful and professional. Very easy to work with and great listeners. I felt at ease prior to my wedding knowing they would be handling all the details of the evening (i.e. when to toss bouquet, garter, what songs to play when, etc.). I really felt they took the time to listen to all my questions and concerns. I was very happy with how they ran the dancing portion of my reception. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I would highly recc. this company for anyone looking for a DJ.

I felt at ease prior to my wedding knowing they would be handling all the details of the evening (i.e. when to toss bouquet, garter, what songs to play when, etc.). I really felt they took the time to listen to all my questions and concerns. I was very happy with how they ran the dancing portion of my reception. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I would highly recc. this company for anyone looking for a DJ.

  Chris was awesome. I loved the ability to pick some songs through his website and then he took the time to meet with us to get to know our likes/dislikes. He is very personable and did a great job the night of the reception. Everyone had a great time.

  CJs DJs was unbelievably fantastic. They listened to exactly what we wanted and were in tune to our wedding guests the whole night. He had us on the dance floor until they kicked us out and it was amazing. All our quests commented about how amazing our DJ was and one even booked him that night for his wedding the following year.

  CJs is AWESOME! We had rave reviews of our DJ all night long. I have never in my life seen a dance floor as packed as it was at our wedding. The music appealed to young people, old people, and everyone in between. Chris did a great job of making the night flow and keeping everyone moving. I wish it could have lasted forever!

  wonderful DJ & master of ceremonies

  Book him! My husband and I have been to a billion weddings this year and the DJs have either made or ruined the day. CJ was such a wonderful DJ AND a master of ceremonies. As a master of ceremonies, he kept us on schedule and made sure that the whole cocktail and reception ran smoothly. As a DJ, he was able to expertly read the room, create an audible experience and keep the momentum going. CJ was exceptional at understanding what type of experience we wanted at our wedding and then staying true to that vision.
  
  One of my husband’s cousins who has downs kept asking for CJ to play Gangnam Style during the reception. This song wasn’t on our do not playlist but it also wasn’t exactly the ideal song for what we wanted. CJ could just tell that this song could be a game changer for this cousin and for that side of the family. He found us and asked us what we wanted to do and we quickly came up with a game plan. When the song came on, it was an immediate hit and my husband’s cousin and the whole family was living it up on the dance floor. It was a perfect moment of CJ knowing what we wanted from a music perspective, but also knowing when to intervene to create memorable experiences for the guests. The fact that he went the extra step to confirm with us and kept our perspective/wants top of mind showed his excellent judgement as a DJ.

I sent him some challenging music to find for the ceremony and he pulled through with fantastic copies. During the reception the guests raved about the quality and style of the music. He kept the playlist family friendly all the way up until the end of the night. He did play more adult, yet clean, music once the majority of the guests had left. It was perfect. I would hire him and his team again in a heartbeat.
