I highly recommend Classic Cakes!! My fiance and I (with family input) decided on an Almond Vanilla and Pink Champagne as our second tier. Our cake was delicious and many of our guests asked for another slice. It was a pleasure working with Megan, as she narrowed down our choices, made suggestions, and kept in close contact with us throughout the process. I highly recommend!!Classic Cakes's reply:

Do yourself a favor and book Classic Cakes!! Megan is incredible - our catering company initially said they would provide our cake, but we found out a few months before the wedding that this wasn’t the cake. I was already late to the game when we emailed Megan to set up a tasting - despite their crazy busy schedule, they were able to squeeze us in for a tasting, which was INCREDIBLE! They usually let you try 6 cakes, but I was stuck between 2 chocolate options and Megan let us try both! They give you the cake and filling options to try, so you can mix and match. We decided on 3 different flavors with 3 different fillings, and Megan said that would be no problem. When she asked for design ideas, I only had a loose idea of what I wanted - but there were tons of examples in the bakery, and I pointed to a few I liked. I had a topper I wanted to use, and Megan told me exactly what I would need to do to use it, and she was happy to facilitate it for us. Megan made a sketch of what she was envisioning and it looked like exactly what we wanted - and was IDENTICAL to the cake that was delivered on the day. Everything came out absolutely perfect, and the process was SO easy and stress-free for me on the day of. And last but not least - these cakes are DELICIOUS. I got SO many compliments - you always hear about there being leftover cake after the wedding, but we had no leftovers - people wanted to try everything. Megan also provided a cake box with explicit insturctions on how best to freeze our top tier on it, so our cake was boxed and saved perfectly. I already can’t wait to have more on our first anniversary. Just make sure you book early - Megan provides an incredible and personalized service, so they do book up quickly! But I was SO impressed and grateful for how she squeezed us in despite her busy schedule. Classic Cakes is the BEST! -

Classic Cakes is amazing! We have lived in Carmel for 2 years and have been eating their cakes since we moved so it was an easy choice come wedding time. They worked with my dietary restriction (gluten free) and were so reasonably priced. We went with lemon orange almond cake with classic butter cream and were absolutely not disappointed. The cake is still moist and incredible 3 days later. They decorated it beautifully, but unfortunately I don't have a photo of it! It was a 3-tier cake that serves 100 with white butter cream with ribbon wrapped around the bottom of each layer and thin ribbon criss-crossed around the middle tier. It was beautiful, but most importantly it was so incredibly delicious. I will be so sad when we finish the rest of it!Classic Cakes's reply:

We used Classic Cakes for our wedding and loved them! We had a smaller two-tier cake to cut, but we are cupcake people and went with an assortment of delicious flavors for our guests. It was great to mix up the flavors as people wanted to try each of them! Everyone said they were delicious and a great addition to the reception! -

Classic Cakes did an amazing job on our wedding cake. The look of the cake far exceeded my expectations and the taste was amazing. The cake looks beautiful in all of our photographs and we got endless compliments on the cake from wedding guests. Classic Cakes made the entire process so easy and fun. At the tasing and consultation they really took the time to make sure that they understood what we wanted and made the ordering process easy. My husband and I were able to walk into their store, taste some cakes, make a decision all within a few hours. They were so easy to work with. After putting in the order for our cake, they took it from their and coordinated with the venue for delivery, and I never had to worry about it again, until it was in my mouth. They have some very yummy cakes, and I can't wait to bring out the one year anniversary top tier cake to relive our wedding day.Classic Cakes's reply:

I struggled to find a cake baker in Indianapolis that would be able to do an excellent job with sculpting. I went to Classic Cakes with an unusual idea and they completely killed it! They listened to my idea and really brought it to life! Simply amazing!Classic Cakes's reply:

Kara Sent on 04/23/2018Classic Cakes were delicious! We met for a tasting, pricing, and designing our cake and it was a fun process. I'm artistic by nature so I was able to show them my detailed drawing and they made it happen and gave me options of how they could approach certain aspects, such as fondant detailing or icing. They also broke down how many each size would serve as well as how to preserve the top layer of the anniversary cake so it didn't spoil overtime. Overall, they were extremely helpful and they exceeded my expectations of what a cake could be. :) -

Brittany Sent on 04/26/2018Classic Cakes in Carmel, IN made a delicious wedding cake for my husband and I. It was a vanilla cake with a raspberry filling. It was simple and beautiful and exactly what we wanted. It even tasted great a year later! I highly recommend them for not only weddings but any occasion!
