Gorgeous industrial space that has a great setup for all your wedding events in one building. It started with a private group supper on the mezzanine the night before. Everyone ordered off the menu instead of having a set meal, which our family loved. Then wedding day! We had a beautiful ceremony on the balcony, transitioned to cocktail hour on the opposite balcony, and a short elevator ride brought everyone seamlessly to the reception area below. The space really looks good for a variety of decorating styles and adds just enough character without being too bold. In addition to the space, we received the best customer service from Toni & her crew every step of the way! She made planning a breeze, answered every question in a timely manner, and was very accommodating to our requests - which included postponing a year, setting up early, and numerous in person meetings. She allowed us to plan our wedding being 6 hours away without worry. Her team is also knowledgeable - we had Josh for the day of and he did a wonderful job keeping the cocktail hour & reception on time. They managed to serve 120 people in minutes! We had a few requests during the night and he problem solved on the spot. The food was phenomenal - proteins and sides cooked to perfection, salad was cold & crisp, and portions were excellent. Our guests left full & happy. Another asset to the venue is the location and ample parking. Guests were able to find their way easily and park at the venue, we didn't need to have a shuttle service or pay for parking.
We would highly recommend Clyde Ironworks for all your wedding needs! -

We just booked Clyde Iron Works for our wedding in October of 2020. When I went to look at the venue before booking, Matt was super helpful in giving more information and giving suggestions as well. I can not wait to have our wedding there, it's always been a dream of mine :) -

We had an amazing experience with Clyde Iron Works for our wedding reception venue in Duluth, MN. The venue itself is beautiful with larger windows, brick, and steel pillars. The bistro lights along with the uplights made our evening of dancing and pictures amazing. Toni, the event manager, and Matt the general manager, were both so easy to work with on all the details of the day. The bridal suite was a nice way for us to get ready in the morning and also decorate the venue. The food was very tasty and they worked with us on what we wanted for the meal. The staff was extremely friendly and we received a lot of compliments from all our guest. Would absolutely recommend to any of my friends or family. -

Their location is one of a kind and fit our vision for our wedding reception perfectly! -

We were able to do a pizza, salad and bread buffet along with our own private bar area. We were able to have a slideshow as well which I was very happy about. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a nice casual rehearsal dinner. -

I had my wedding at Clyde in October and cannot say enough about how perfect this venue was for our wedding and how amazing the staff were. Everything was set up and coordinated exactly as requested and the staff were organized, friendly, efficient, and overall outstanding throughout the entire day and night. Our guests were blown away by how unique and beautiful the space was and everyone loved the food. We also had our rehearsal dinner at Clyde and were impressed by how professional and organized the staff was just for that. We knew this was the venue for us the first time we toured and it turned out to be the perfect spot for our dream wedding. We loved how versatile the space is and how you can truly make it into exactly what your vision is for your big day.
The only recommendation I'll make is that the events manager should have an assistant to help with emails and other duties. I was in communication with this person for over 3 years and there were times it took a week for them to get back to me. Even when it took a long time, all my questions were eventually answered which was appreciated but it was a little frustrating at times. Overall, they did an outstanding job with having all the details perfect when it came down to the rehearsal dinner and wedding, but I do think with the amount of events they host at Clyde each week, they could expand their team to take some of the stress off one person since they're so busy all the time. For everything this person has to handle, they did a great job overall.

Clyde Iron Works was absolutely incredible as a wedding venue. Everyone LOVED it. It has a very rustic/industrial/chic feel - similar to the machine shop in MPLS. Communication could be improved - but overall the day went smoothly. -

The clyde was so beautiful and the workers their were such a big help. Of what we heard from our guest they loved it. Every detail was meet and only thing I would of liked better would be better communicating through phone on the final days leading up. We were able to swing last minute set up the night before. We were lucky to be able to do that since there were no events the night before. Thank you to the clyde! -
User2247650 Sent on 07/29/2015The venue itself is great, large interesting space and enough bathroom space for a large group. Unfortunately the bathrooms were not monitored before and throughout the event, making many guest complain about cleanliness. Our wedding meals tasted and looked nothing like the food we taste tested and approved prior to our event. As an example, do not order mixed vegetables for a large group, the carrots were cut way too large (~2" x 1") and therefore undercooked beside the overcooked zucchini. The baby potatoes were also undercooked and most places were collected still half full of uneaten food. It is sad that we paid so much for the plates that were not eaten. Lastly we ordered sauces for each entree and 1/2 of the plates did not get the sauce, and one of the sauce options was nothing like the amazing sauce we had approved. We did bring it to Clyde's attention, but they weren't interested in giving a monetary refund, they just said they let the kitchen know. I'm sorry, but if you are a cook (I am not) you should probably know how to cook vegetables and potatoes until they are fork tender. We were given some credit to the restaurant, which was better than nothing, but still does not make up for the poor quality meals our 250 guests were served (or ease the $9,800 bill we still had to pay).
