I wish I could give more stars
I had my wedding here and it was perfect. Tim is a down to earth wedding event coordinator, he is not part of the “wedding business” that tries to nickel and dime you at every corner as soon as you mention “wedding”. He treats you as if you were a family member and he is hosting a wedding for you. He works with you on any and every request. There were a few hiccups on our wedding day but he worked tirelessly to get them straightened out and went above and beyond what he was contractually obligated to do. The golf course we were at was already a great place, but being able to work with Tim Is what sold us. You will not be disappointed if you come here!I had my wedding here and it was perfect. We used Cobblestone Creek as our ceremony and reception venue. We booked over a year in advance and Tim and Jamie were very attentive and kept in constant contact the entire time. They went above and beyond to help us plan every little detail of our day and opened the venue for us multiple times to look at different things and make various decisions. What I liked most about this place was the decor. It is decorated very tastefully and has a really warm feeling to it... With this being said you don't have to spend much money on indoor decorations. We had our ceremony outside on the practice green and it was a gorgeous set up... Tim built a new pergola outside and we were the first to use it! Overall We had an amazing experience. Our day ended up being flawless, the venue was great.... but the staff was even better. I would recommend this place to anyone planning a metro wedding! We used Cobblestone Creek as our ceremony and reception venue. We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at Cobblestone Creek Golf Club and it was amazing! Tim is so easy to work with and so flexible and accommodating to our needs. He would meet us at the venue any time we wanted to see it or tour our other vendors (photographer, caterer, etc). He always tried to make our requests work and if he couldn't, he'd offer another solution. The venue is gorgeous and all our guests kept commenting on how beautiful the golf course and the clubhouse were. I'd definitely recommend this venue! It is a Norman treasure! :)We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at Cobblestone Creek Golf Club and it was amazing! Cobblestone Creek was the perfect place for our wedding reception. It has the warmth and feeling of home that we felt was so important. The staff at Cobblestone (especially Kelly Long) are incredible and were willing to do ANYTHING to help make our day perfect. The space inside will hold about 250 guests. We were expecting about 275 and wanted to allow more room for our guests. With the help of Cobblestone we rented a beautiful tent that was set up outside the clubhouse. We also utilized the space under the beautiful tree next to the clubhouse as a bar and seating area. Cobblestone Creek is very versatile and can be used in so many different ways. Every thing is so far so good with Shelley over at Cobblestone Creek. She is always available via text to answer questions and set up meetings. She has been willing to meet us multiple times so we could show the venue to our out-of-town parents and other vendors. The venue itself is gorgeous. We are having the ceremony behind the main building under a pergola and chandelier. Shelley pays for and sets up all decorations, including flowers. The inside has a full bar and multiple floors. The whole place is beautiful and perfect. I can hardly wait the whole year before the party!Every thing is so far so good with Shelley over at Cobblestone Creek. It was really hot in the area but totally considerable for the 95 degree heat. The location was beautiful. Make sure to block guests from parking in the rear of the ceremony. As far as a place to hold a wedding, it was beautiful. The size and setting was perfect for us and what we were wanting. Any staff that was there the day of the wedding were very nice and very helpful.
However, its a bit fuzzy on pricing. We had been under the impression that we only had to pay $800 for EVERYTHING. But the week before the wedding, we found out that ceremony chair rentals were not included, when we thought they were. So we had to fork out another $200 for those. And worst of all, during the reception, we found out that the two attendants that were doing cake and drinks were not included either! We were being charged $15/hr for each one!!! So when we found that out, the reception immediately ended and everyone had to leave! It sucked because everyone was having a really good time and it was only 7:00!
So while I do recommend them, be very very wary of prices! Just double check the contract for hidden fees! It cost us nearly an extra $400!!!As far as a place to hold a wedding, it was beautiful. We had family wedding event at Cobblestone Creek. Wedding coordinator /Fairytale weddings/ by Shelly was wonderful. She was always on the top of her game, easy to reach, always responsive, gave us so good advice, beautiful decorations, etc.
Cobblestone Creek venue is great place for family event, weddings ONLY if they will clean it. Obviously they had not vacuumed or dusted the bridal sweet, fireplace mantels where full of dust, dead flies, etc. The front rug smelled so bad it overpowered the entry. If it was not for Shelly who run out to get some Glade plug- ins, it had been hard to smell it all night. Their management does not believe people notice when you do not clean and try to skip essential ABC of clean rooms.
I had to request to get the windows washed, cleaned, front porch swept, etc. It must be a man who is in charge of this building because he has no idea how the clean room should look!We had family wedding event at Cobblestone Creek. Cobblestone creek was the perfect place for our shabby-chic wedding theme. Very beautiful, large, great bar. Dissapointed in the venue's coordinator. Hard to get ahold of,ect. But if you use an outside wedding planner and florist this venue is perfect for a wedding and reception. You do have to use their caterer but they are awesome. You can chose your own florist, dj, cake, ect. Which is more flexible than alot of venues.Cobblestone creek was the perfect place for our shabby-chic wedding theme. Very beautiful, large, great bar. I booked Cobblestone Creek a year prior to my wedding. I knew it was the perfect place for my wedding as soon as I walked in.I should have known from the start that I should look elsewhere, the person supposed to be showing me around, Kelly, wasn't there. Her dad who was the owner at the time had to call her and she showed up about 20 minutes later with her kids in tow. It was too late though. It was my venue and I booked and paid for it. Kelly was very hard to get in touch with. Sometimes it would be two weeks before I would get a response from her. In fact I had to have the caterer get in touch with her before she would return my emails, that happened on more then one occasion. So time went on, I continued to purchase and make decor for my wedding to fit Cobblestone. I purchased our invitations with Cobblestones name, programs, welcome notes. All with Cobblestone Creek on them. 9 days before my wedding I received a phone call from my caterer who informed me that my venue had been shut down by the Oklahoma Tax Commission due to non payment of taxes. At that time I was also informed that the bank foreclosed on the Cobblestone in january and had been auctioned off to new owners in February. I was NEVER made aware of any of these issues. I searched the owner on the courts network and they were having financial issues with their bank well before I paid for the venue. I was never made aware of any of this. The caterer was able to get my money back from the original owner. The new venue that was found last minute was 350 more. Also had no way to redo the programs or welcome notes. I couldn't have candles, open flame at the new venue so I lost the money on that. I also had to purchase led candles, more money I wasn't expecting. I had planned on doing a goofbooth with my photographer at the reception and we couldn't do that since the backdrop couldn't be placed against the wall of the new venue. We had wanted cotton candy as a late night snack, we were able to do that but the machine couldn't be out with the guests as we had wanted. To this day (17 days after my wedding) NO ONE from Cobblestone has called me, no one has apologized. Kelly responded to my email by saying that she really didn't have anything to do with it and then offered her dads (previous owner) backyard as an alternate. The stress that this place put me under was unbelievable. If we didn't have an awesome wedding planner and caterer I have no idea what we would have done. The new owner never contacted me. Again, no apology was ever given. This is a beautiful venue but the heartache that they caused is unreal and the fact that they haven't even bothered to contact me themselves shows what terrible business people they are.I booked Cobblestone Creek a year prior to my wedding.
