I got married this past Saturday 5/4/24 at Conrad’s Ruth Villa and it was absolutely perfect!
We worked with Beth, and she was very communicative, helpful, and easy to work with. She always got back to me quickly with all my random questions and plans and it was very obvious that she wanted nothing but for our day to be perfect.
The venue is absolutely beautiful! We found Conrad’s on wedding wire after months and months of searching for a waterfront venue that wouldn’t break the bank. What a hidden gem we found!! We immediately knew it was our venue even though we visited on a rainy winter day. We live a little over an hour south of Middle River in a very similar little fishing town on the bay, so we felt right at home.
The catering is in house, which was also a feature we wanted in our venue. We opted for the simple pulled pork & chicken sandwiches- they were delicious! The veggies served with dinner were great too. For appetizers we had the lamb lollipops & coconut shrimp. We were off taking photos during apps so I didn’t get to try them until they were cold but WOW they were so good!! All the food was great, as were the drinks and the service.
We planned a May wedding knowing the risk for weather, but were hoping & planning for a bright sunny spring day. Unfortunately Mother Nature had other plans, but Beth offered us a “plan B” and allowed us to totally change the plan and move both the ceremony and reception into the hall. You would never even have guessed that our original plan was any different- everything worked out perfect (except the rain.. boo). Our boys didn’t let the rainy cold stop them from spending some time by the water!
I think my favorite thing about Conrad’s Ruth Villa is how gorgeous the scenery and landscaping is- the weeping willows by the water are especially beautiful. Conrad’s is the perfect venue for anybody- you could just show up without any decor and the scenery alone is breath taking. Or you could dress it up and have a more classy, fancy type of party.
We were very happy and very impressed with everything Conrad’s has to offer, from the very beginning of the planning stages to our send off after the reception. We will definitely recommend Conrad’s Ruth Villa to anybody looking for a perfect venue! -

Jackie Sent on 10/11/2014We spent several months trying to find a venue for our September wedding. The "typical" venues were either not our thing or grossly over budget. We happened upon Conrad's Ruth Villa and were pleased with both the location and the price. It was a pleasure to work with Fred. He was very patient with us (it was our first wedding) and very timely with his responses. They host a variety of events, including weddings. What we liked most about the venue was that everything was catered in-house, so we didn't have to find a caterer! They offer pit beef, pit turkey, cold salads, etc. Very casual menu...and our guests LOVED it! We're still getting compliments on the food and venue location! It's right on the water, so the photographer was able to get beautiful pictures throughout the day. I would recommend this venue because it was budget friendly and very easy! Everything we needed was right there and we didn't have to shop around for very many other vendors. Plus our guests loved it and had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful. If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing about our venue! -
User983987 Sent on 10/22/2012I could not have picked a more beautiful venue!!! Everything was perfect, and Fred and his staff were truly amazing. Fred is very responsive and accommodating. This venue was very suiting for my husband and I, we simply adore the rustic feel of the reception hall. All my guests have had such wonderful things to say about Conrad’s, some are even looking at hosting some of their own events at Conrad’s. -
User2663853 Sent on 06/27/2016Conrad's Ruth is the most beautiful place. There are a few waterfront ceremony locations and the reception hall is gorgeous with cute lights strung about. The staff really knows what they are doing and the BBQ menu was phenomenal. The guest enjoyed themselves and we had a great time! Would do it all over again with them.
One thing to note- you do not need a day of planner with this crew. Unlike other venues, they take care of most of this for you! Would highly recommend air conditioning the reception hall as well. Thanks for the best day of our lives Fred and Jennifer!!!!!
