    What a wonderful place for our daughter's reception. We chose the Courtyard because it had in-house catering, and was close to our ceremony site. I don't think we could have been more fortunate in our choice if we'd looked at a dozen places! Not only was it a lovely venue, the staff made the evening spectacular. Every step of the way over the past months they have been helpful and so pleasant to work with! Everyone was so passionate and proud of their service, which is exactly what you want for a once-in-a-lifetime event. Our Banquet Captain Jeffrey was amazing and took care of a few last-minute details with calm and efficiency. He was a ROCK!
    Springfield has a gem in the Courtyard by Marriott. Highly recommend for any event.

    How do I describe this vendor.......TERRIFIC, WONDERFUL, SUPER!!!!!! But seriously they gave us 110%! They answered our many questions & made this an absolute positive experience for everyone. Out of all the positive things they did one that impressed us happened when the bride was taking some fun pictures with the bridal party before the wedding. One of the many people that helped set up everything from the Courtyard said they would like to show her something. This person walked her into the decorated reception area to show her it set up before it was full with people. They wanted to be sure she got to see how beautiful the area was and let her take in the moment before the party began. We appreciate them for that moment she will never forget!

    The food was the best that we had ever had. Even my complainers LOVED the meal! We always have excellent service, but this time the room was set up WELL in advance and we even had a few minutes to sit down before the event started and we opened the doors. Wait staff is always a delight to work with and a few offered to help us put the favors and programs on the table if we needed assistance. The microphone worked well and we were even provided with a back-up mic in case the first one failed. Colleen and her staff are professional and helpful. We especially appreciate Jeffrey and Bart.

    The Courtyard Marriot in Springfield, Ohio was the perfect place for our wedding reception. Our wedding was two days after Christmas so the downtown Christmas lights and courtyard were lit up beautifully. The staff was incredible, so kind and helpful. They made our wedding such a pleasant experience. And the help from Colleen Fahey was incredible. I can say that we truly had our dream wedding there!

    The Marriott courtyard really knows how to treat a client. You can tell they want you to be truly happy with what you invested it. Tina and Colleen, the event coordinators, were fantastic! Very flexible and responded to emails and calls extremely promptly. If I had to do it all over, I would choose the Marriott again... Hands down!

    Booked rooms for family to come too close to venue and I love the modern feel to the hotel.

    I chose to use this hotel for our wedding block because we were getting married in Urbana and this is the nicest hotel around. I met with Erika (who was great and gave me a good block rate for our out of town guests) in June of 2017 and set up a block of 20 rooms. I wanted 30 rooms because my husband is from Florida and we had a lot of people coming in, but they only would allow me 20 because June 15-17, 2018 was a busy weekend for them. The booking process was okay for some guests, but other guests had the worst time, especially when Erika left for her maternity leave. My guests would call and they would tell them there were no rooms left in the block (when there were) and it was a mess. I was on the phone WAY more that I should have been trying to get everyone situated. They ended up only giving my guests 19 out of the 20 rooms in the block so I made a block elsewhere for the 10 other rooms that were needed. The hotel itself was great for our stay, but the booking process was a MESS, which is disheartening
