  The photographer was very professional and understanding and flexible with scheduling. Andre made my wedding pictures look like a fairytale. I would highly recommend him for anyone who’s looking for great quality, professional photographs.

  Wonderful experience all around!

  Andre was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole wedding process. From the planning to the day of the wedding to getting our pictures back quickly, it could not have gone smoother. Truly a pleasure to work with and I had no doubt he would do a great job. He took his work really seriously but also laughed and goofed along the way, making for great candid and beautiful pictures. We could not be happier with how they turned out and we will certainly be using Andre for future professional pictures with family. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great photographer with great prices!

  An absolute pleasure to work with

  I messaged Andre, desperate to find a replacement photographer when our previous one found out they would be moving a few months before our wedding, knowing the odds of finding another in our budget would be low. I was moved to tears when Andre said he would create a package within our budget--I couldn't believe how patient or generous a total stranger could be. That's really what set him apart from every other "vendor" that we worked with for the big day, we weren't just another client. He put my fiancé and I at ease during the engagement shoot and we couldn't stop talking about how cool he was after, nor could our wedding party and guests after the wedding! Communication from start to finish was clear and prompt and where other vendors would seem aghast by some less than traditional choices, he gave critical input on how to create our timeline to be able to navigate the night seamlessly. The prints themselves are of stellar quality, and the photo album he created is something we will always treasure. Honestly, I was blown away at the time he took responding to my emails and editing the album after our contract had already been fulfilled. I would recommend him without hesitation, and would make a point of budgeting for his services specifically if needed for a future event. Don't hesitate, you will not be disappointed in any fashion working with Covenant LX

There were so many things that we were worried about and that had gone wrong throughout the planning process but there wasn't a second that we became nervous about our wedding photos and video. Covenant LX is such an easy business to work with. They were extremely organized, professional and they helped us feel relaxed and excited about our big day. Andre has a wonderful personality and he is very confident and easy-going. His work is impeccable and he and Robert came prepared with awesome ideas to capture our true essence. They kept us smiling, laughing, and focused on the fact that April 3, 2019 was the best day of our lives. If you are considering booking with Covenant LX... DO IT!!! Their work is worth every penny and you will not be disappointed. The photos and video appear even better than the actual moments they captured.   I booked Andre for a photoshoot at my bachelorette in Louisville for the Derby. We connected via phone several months in advance and then closer to the date he followed up for additional details. Turns out the day of the Derby it torrential down-poured and I thought my plan of the Derby photo shoot was ruined. Not to worry with Andre, he came up with a plan B and we met in an indoor location to conduct the photoshoot with my girlfriends. He really ensured it didn't rain on our parade and I am so thankful for the experience he gave us. We were a large group of 13 & he made sure to remember everyone's name and make a personal connection with each person he photographed. I would highly recommend his services for anyone looking for stellar photography with a very charismatic photographer. Thanks Andre!

  10/10 would recommend Andre as your photographer! He is professional and you can tell he truly loves what he does. My fiance was very uncomfortable at first, but Andre kept the mood light and helped him feel more comfortable, so he was totally comfortable by half way through our session. He is a super funny guy and very likable and personable! He accommodated us extremely well with what we were comfortable doing and what we weren't (i.e. kissing pictures, some poses, etc) and let us suggest photo ideas the whole time. And we adored our pictures!!

  10/10 would recommend Andre as your photographer! He is professional and you can tell he truly loves what he does.   Andre was amazing! There was a timing issue where I did not receive my dress until shortly before the wedding so we didn't have time to do the bridal photo shoot in between. He was so willing to be flexible on the timing of it all and even switched it from a bridal shoot to a couples shoot. Andre also put my less-than-enthusiastic husband totally at ease and it turned out to be an absolutely wonderful experience for both of us!

  Andre was great at just making us feel relaxed and comfortable! He really just wanted us to focus on having fun and let him focus on capturing the perfect shots. And he did! We loved his pictures! They were all we wanted and more. I would HIGHLY recommend Andre Thomas to any couple looking to get engagement pictures. We were very satisfied!

My husband was originally not into the whole picture thing, but after Andre took the time to meet with us, and really get to know us he warmed up. He made us both feel so comfortable! We had a small wedding near Lake Cumberland, but traveling was not an issue for him. The time and energy he puts into his work is amazing. His responsiveness and communication was above and beyond! We had soooo much fun having Andre and his coworker Kevin around all day! We even got them to bust a move on the dance floor for us:) All of my guests kept saying how much fun and easy to be around they were. I cannot express enough how over the top amazing he was to work with! I feel like he truly loves what he does and it shines through in his work!   We had a blast working with Andre and his wife. He was always polite and down to earth gentleman. I appreciated him reaching out to me, when a crazy twist came along our road towards our Wedding Day. I am so thankful it worked all out. My husband and I are not big on taking pictures, but Andre made us feel comfortable and enjoyed our time taking them. We are in love with our pictures. The only regret is having him and his lovely wife take more pictures and having it videotaped on our big day. The services are offered by Covenant LX are worth it.   My husband and I met with Andre on multiple occasions prior to the wedding to discuss all details we wanted in our video. Andre made sure everything was exactly how we pictured it, down to the last detail. The length and quality of the video was perfect. We look forward to watching it for many years to come and continuing to share it with our families. We highly recommend Covenant Photography and would use them again!

  We had Covenant LX do our WEDDING VIDEO, which was what I was most looking forward to for wedding memories. Andre did an amazing job creating the video just how we had envisioned and explained to him. Not only that, he got it done in such a timely manner that we could view it right after we got back from our honeymoon! Booking Covenant LX for our videography was one of the best wedding-planning decisions we made. And everyone loves the video! It was a great experience!

Andre was very accommodating by meeting with my mother first to discuss details. The day of the wedding he arrived on time and jumped right in. I love his sense of humor and the fact that he made it fun. During the wedding he was able to get some amazing shots. Andre processed our photos quite quickly and we were more than pleased. His prices were more than reasonable and we would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

  Botched photography and unprofessional

  If I could go back and do my wedding all over again, i would have never hired this photographer. Hindsight is always 20/20. Andre, claims to be good at what he dose and he is mediocre at best.
  
  He completely ruined the majority of my wedding photos, took photos with our feet cut off, my beautiful gown cut off, he missed the big moments like my husbands mom placing a rose on a chair in honor of her late husband. (Things he knew about ahead of time so he should have been prepared for especially since we hired a 2nd shooter for this reason! 95% of our ceremony photos by Andre are taken from behind our alter(so of our backs or backs of our heads if we wouldn’t have had a 2nd shooter we wouldn’t have any photos from the front)
  
  I have zero bridal photos that show my entire dress unless you count the one he took from the ground! (Bridal photos are of the bride alone in her dress) he claims: “Most pictures I take don’t have the whole dress because wedding dresses are big. What I mean is it can ruin the composition. For example, where the faces are. Getting the whole dress can put someone’s face in the corner of the frame which would make an awkward looking picture.” However after hiring another photographer and doing a bridal reshoot I have learned that this is completely untrue. My new photos show my full body, and full gown and are OUTSTANDING.
  
  Andre sent us a galley that had our heads cut off, feet cut off, dress cut off, extremely dark photos, close up photos of my food, but kept claiming the album was “SOLID.” We requested to see all of our photos, and found the same photos that didn’t have our heads cut off, or were a better angle, etc.
  Im still unsure why he put photos with our heads cut off when there where images of the same shot that didn’t. Or photos of our parents wedding pictures laying down on the chair when there were photos of them sitting up like they should have been….After asking him too He did edit our request from our unedited photos, but still from the thousands we could only find 50-60 that were worth keeping.
  
  Our formal pictures are completely lacking, we dont have any verity the choose from when it comes to family photos, or full wedding party photos. For example I have one photo of my husband with my brides maids, and 1-2 photos of him with our entire wedding party. I have no formal photos of us with anyone in our family except our moms(together not individually), and one with my grandparents.(who were out FG &RB) None with anyone else. Aunts, uncles, individuals with our families, Even though these were previously discussed with Andre before the wedding.
  
  I could go on and on about everything he failed to photograph!
  
  At the end of the day Andre failed to meet our expectations over and over again! However, when we expressed our disappointment, he verbally assaulted me, via text, attacking my faith and Christianity.
  
  Andre, admitted that he missed photos, and after getting on a Facebook group for Kentucky photographers, asking what THEY charge for a bridal session (because clearly he saw the need for one) He offered us a $500.00 refund, compared to the 3,499.00 we paid him for Poor images. After doing some in depth research I discovered that $500.00 would not cover the cost of another bridal session because it required more than just standing in front of a camera. Andre REFUSED to accept the facts and discuss the details of such. His way or the high way. And after a few emails, he recanted his offer and then refused to offer any type of refund to us anymore.
  
  He is taking advantage of and robbing brides and their families of money. DO NOT HIRE this man, I wouldn’t even send my worse enemy to him.
  
  My bridal reshoot was extremely successful, and is why I waited as long as I did to post my review, I wanted to see if wedding gowns are as impossible to photograph as Andre claims, or not. I only had 2 hours with my new photographer(10 hours with Andre, his 2nd shooter and a videographer) and I got over 90 pictures and loved every single one of them.
  
  AGAIN I would recommend that you not hire this photographer, for your wedding. I’ve learned my lesson and I’ll use my voice to try and prevent another couple from the pain of what it was like getting my poor quality wedding photos back and trying to work though the issues with Andre.

  If I could go back and do my wedding all over again, i would have never hired this photographer. Hindsight is always 20/20. Andre, claims to be good at what he dose and he is mediocre at best.
  
  He completely ruined the majority of my wedding photos, took photos with our feet cut off, my beautiful gown cut off, he missed the big moments like my husbands mom placing a rose on a chair in honor of her late husband. (Things he knew about ahead of time so he should have been prepared for especially since we hired a 2nd shooter for this reason! 95% of our ceremony photos by Andre are taken from behind our alter(so of our backs or backs of our heads if we wouldn’t have had a 2nd shooter we wouldn’t have any photos from the front)
  
  I have zero bridal photos that show my entire dress unless you count the one he took from the ground! (Bridal photos are of the bride alone in her dress) he claims: “Most pictures I take don’t have the whole dress because wedding dresses are big. What I mean is it can ruin the composition. For example, where the faces are. Getting the whole dress can put someone’s face in the corner of the frame which would make an awkward looking picture.” However after hiring another photographer and doing a bridal reshoot I have learned that this is completely untrue. My new photos show my full body, and full gown and are OUTSTANDING.
  
  Andre sent us a galley that had our heads cut off, feet cut off, dress cut off, extremely dark photos, close up photos of my food, but kept claiming the album was “SOLID.” We requested to see all of our photos, and found the same photos that didn’t have our heads cut off, or were a better angle, etc.
  Im still unsure why he put photos with our heads cut off when there where images of the same shot that didn’t. Or photos of our parents wedding pictures laying down on the chair when there were photos of them sitting up like they should have been….After asking him too He did edit our request from our unedited photos, but still from the thousands we could only find 50-60 that were worth keeping.

  profession, I regret that Laura is my first unsatisfied bride. I hate
  that things didn't work out but, for the readers out there, I'd like
  to say that much of what she Laura is saying is inaccurate and/or
  taken out of context. Laura's main issue was her bridal portraits.
  Though I took some (full dress shots), I didn't take as much as she
  wanted and that unfortunately tainted the whole gallery for her. I
  offered to refund her a generous amount to go hire another
  photographer to get a bridal session without the stress of a wedding
  day but we failed to reach an agreement. Nonetheless, at Covenant LX,
  we are huge advocates of marriages (beyond the wedding day) so, in
  that vein, I wish them a wonderful marriage full of beautiful
