Dahlias and greenery of my dreams
Florals were one of the things I cared about most for my wedding decor and Anne really delivered! She bravely took on builds she hadn't done before and turned my vision into a beautiful reality. I'm a bit indecisive and changed my mind a few times throughout the planning process and she handled it all with grace to deliver the wonderful final result. The foliage for my chuppah and massive reception chandelier were incredible focal points - and the stunning dahlias mixed with various wildflowers across our tables was just perfection.Florals were one of the things I cared about most for my wedding decor and Anne really delivered! Event flowers and a custom green chandelier
I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience working with Crespell. I was super impressed with the rare and unique varieties available and even more so that they were all grown locally and lovingly by Anne. It made my event feel all the more special to support a local grower. Moreover, the turnaround was quick and the price was right! Can’t wait to hire them for my next event.I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience working with Crespell. Amazing flowers and vibes
Working with Anne at Crespell was one of my fave wedding prep activities. She is an artist, she made herself available in a really comforting way, she partnered in the creative design in a really fun way. The flowers were AMAZING dahlias and more and made the event and the picture 🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️Working with Anne at Crespell was one of my fave wedding prep activities. Jenny it was such a pleasure. You three have such gorgeous values and the love and warmth and desire to share that with your guests and family came through in every detail of your wedding. -

Beautiful dahlias but had some challenges
I reached out to Crespell when it was recommended by my venue and was one of the few local florists offering brightly colored Dahlias, which was exactly what I wanted. Anne was initially very helpful, and gave me a few different options and tiers of products I could order for my wedding, based on how much I wanted to spend. We landed at a mid-tier offering - with a bridal bouquet, boutonnières, several arrangements for the ceremony, and buckets of dahlias to use in bud vases for the table settings. I was very excited because the photos from the website and other events all looked beautiful and exactly what I was going for.
The weekend of my wedding, everything went downhill - there were communication challenges with the drop off, I didn’t receive most of the bud vases so I couldn’t use all of the buckets of flowers as planned for the tables, the ceremony arrangements weren’t dahlias but trumpet vine and ended up looking droopy, the bouquet did not have a ribbon so I had to wrap my own string around it to cover the rubber band as I was literally preparing to walk down the aisle (unsure if the ribbon was misplaced or never included), and for whatever reason, most of the flowers were pretty sad looking (unsure if they never opened as planned or were already dead / dying when they arrived). To be fair - the men’s boutonnières were dahlias and did look great. The dahlias in the bouquet were beautiful as were the ones we were able to use in the bud vases we had.
After the wedding was over, I shared to feedback to try to resolve this, Anne was initially understanding, admitting it wasn’t their best work due to some extenuating circumstances. As we worked to figure out the best resolution, I was extremely disappointed with how Anne ultimately handed the issue - she blamed me for many of the challenges, saying it took TOO much communication to work with me and she didn’t have time to deal with it and didn’t agree with the issues I shared. Every single one of my other wedding vendors delivered their services as agreed, even went above and beyond in most cases, were professional, and told my husband and I that we were the most chill couple and they loved working with us. The only vendor we had a single challenge with delivering the services we agreed to was Crespell and I was left not only feeling disappointed, but combatted against as a client.
