  Crizen is great! A true professional! My husband, who is pretty picky and prefers a more natural look, would not stop raving about my hair and makeup on the wedding day. I looked way better than my daily self but still looked like myself. To me, that is the ultimate goal of wedding makeup.

  I was a bit nervous about having someone do my hair and makeup. The handful of times I've gotten hair and make up done in the past, I've not been happy with the outcome. Too much hairspray, too much product, too overdone! This was a completely different experience. Crizen totally understood what I was after, and delivered! She believes in working with one's natural beauty, and that's exactly how I felt when she was done--like a prettier, more glammed up version of myself! My final look was finished but not caked on, my hair was shiny and curled, but not stiff. Crizen made me look and feel beautiful! Wish I had the funds to hire her every time I went out!

  Crizen is a constant professional, charming, easy going, and an obvious expert in her field. She was a godsend to have at my destination wedding in Mexico. There was some mulling over if I should hire someone to come with me to my wedding in Mexico or just deal with the available talent in the resort. I was glad of my decision to hire Crizen and have her travel with me. We started with discussions about skincare, hair styles, and an amazing trial. I have extremely sensitive skin and was worried about breakouts with certain make-up. Crizen was more than willing to try different products regarding my skin issues. We also discussed extensively about the weather and humidity with staying power of make-up and not melting away. We had a trail in which we tried make- up products on with staying power and amenable to my sensitive skin. We were able to find the correct products to make my wedding day perfect. With Crizen traveling she was able to do my hair and makeup for rehearsal dinner. She was also able to change my hair from ceremony with romantic big beach waves to reception with an edgy up -o so I could dance the night away. She stayed on time and kept me on time which is a task on its own. Another treat was she gave my husband a haircut the day prior to wedding which he really appreciated looking his best as well. She is excellent with men haircuts! Destination or not, Crizen is your secret weapon to looking spectacular on your wedding day.

  Crizen is AMAZING to work with. She is not only extremely professional and creative, but incredibly friendly and fun. I enjoyed my hair trial and liked what she did, but in between the trial and the wedding I saw some other hairstyles that I loved and asked if she could do it. Not only could she, she did it perfectly! Crizen is like the hair whisperer. She knew my hair texture and abilities, and probably even knew how I wanted it to look before I even did. You give her a lukewarm description, maybe a few photos like I did, and she works her magic. Same goes for makeup. I'm not very good at describing what I want I realized, but she knows what questions to ask you to ensure you love the makeup. I felt comfortable with it looking natural but was incredibly impressed with how she knows just how to work the makeup so it looks fabulous in photos. I had 5 bridesmaids and 2 MILs but we started on time and Crizen seamlessly finished everyone's hair AND makeup with time to spare. I don't know how she does it, but one by one each woman looked as lovely as can be and we spent much of the extra time gushing over how fabulous everyone looked and taking photos. Crizen truly is an artist and extremely creative, especially when dealing with such a huge variety of hair types. You don't get married often ;) so if you want to look as stunning as possible, work with Crizen because she will make you look and feel beautiful.

  Every bride wants to look picture perfect on her wedding day and Crizen made this dream a reality.
  
  I first hired Crizen to do my hair and makeup for engagement photos. According to friends and family, I had never looked more beautiful. (I have to agree!) The soft curls I wanted held up all day and the makeup was natural, yet enhanced what I consider my best features.
  
  I am African-American without a relaxer and finding someone who can execute perfect and contemporary hair styles can be a challenge. After success with the engagement photos, I was confident that Crizen would be the best person do everyone's hair on my wedding day. She gave me, my mom, my two sisters, and my mother-in-law exactly what we each wanted. Everyone looked amazing, unique, and most importantly, their looks lasted all day and night.
  
  Crizen became my primary hair stylist and I appreciate the attention she gives each individual client. You are in and out quickly and don't have to give up half your day for an appointment. I would highly recommend Crizen for any and all future hair and makeup needs.

  Crizen is nothing short of amazing! She works wonders with hair and makeup. Crizen and Ashley - a stylist on Crizen's team - traveled to Michigan to do hair and makeup for my wedding. With seven bridesmaids, my mom and me, Crizen and Ashley were asked to do nine completely different hairstyles on very different hair types, and all came out flawlessly! Everybody was thrilled with their hair and makeup, and thanks to Crizen, I couldn't have felt more beautiful on my wedding day. Equally as important, Crizen is a fabulous addition to the bridal suite! She's so much fun and fit right in with my friends and family. I HIGHLY recommend Crizen and her team - they're the very best!

  Crizen is, in one word, amazing! I am lucky enough to have Crizen as my regular hair stylist. I think that made such a difference, because she was able to cut and color my hair for months in anticipation of how I'd wear it on that day. We played with the cut, played with the color, and even bought my (crazy long) extensions to have them cut and colored to perfectly match my hair!
  
  Beyond her amazing talent with hair and makeup, she's just the sweetest, most sincere person ever. I always look forward to my 2 hours of chatting in her chair each month, and she's exactly the person I wanted to make me look and feel beautiful on the day of my wedding :)

  Crizen is amazing!!!!!! I had a trial with her and knew immediately that she was the one. She has great intuition and ideas. She and her team were great on wedding day. They were on time and ready to get going. They did hair and make up for myself, my maids, the moms and the flower girls. I wore my hair down in lose curls and she trimmed and placed my extensions so they looked lush and real. The make up was exactly what I wanted. I brought pictures for inspiration and to communicate my vision and she surpassed my expectations. Crizen is very professional, but also light and funny. She was just who I needed next to me as things got overwhelming with family and friends were buzzing all over the place. I could not have been more happy.

  I hired Crizen to do my hair and makeup, along with my maid of honor and my mother, for my wedding day. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her or her work. She is an absolute joy to be around, which is important on your wedding day. And her work if flawless. I was blown away and have never felt more beautiful in my life. The hair and makeup lasted all day and night without any retouching. Hire her immediately, you will not regret it!! :)

  I would highly recommend Crizen Hasegawa for any bride or bridal party (or anyone else who wants their hair and/or makeup done for an event).
  
  She did my hair and makeup for my wedding, as well as (with 2 assistants) hair and makeup for my 7 bridesmaids and one flower girl. Results were perfect and more beautiful than I could have dreamed.
  
  Crizen is creative, meticulous, and professional and worked very patiently with me as I worked to figure out what I wanted. She takes and implements feedback exceptionally. She clearly takes great pride in her work.
  
  She also showed great versatility, responding to the needs and desires of many bridesmaids with divergent styles, hair textures, facial features, and complexions. Every single member of the bridal party looked both *stunning* and wonderfully individual, and that's owed in no small part to Crizen.
  
  Logistically speaking, Crizen was very flexible and accomodating with our demands, which included a large group, very early morning start time, and additional afternoon touchups.
  
  As a bonus, she is generally wonderful to have around, with a boundlessly positive attitude and great converstion - something I came to appreciate having during the many hours I spent in her chair (at trials and on the day)! She's simply great to work with and results could not have been better.

  Crizen's work is absolutely amazing! She is professional, thoughtful and talented. She is truly a hair expert and I am always beyond satisfied with the outcome. On my wedding day, she was able to add in loose curls with clip-in extensions for a perfect look that held together the entire day. I am so grateful I had a hair stylist I could trust for my special day. I would recommend her to anyone!

  Couldn't have asked for better hair & makeup!!
  
  Crizen did a phenominal job on my hair and makeup! She listened to my preferences and applied it to her own style to make everything look amazing! My hair stayed up all day through 3 outfit changes and dancing at the reception! My makeup didn't smudge and looked clean all day long! She kept me looking natural and like myself so I didn't feel like the makeup was caked on (considering I dont wear makeup, i loved it!)
  
  She's a steal for the price in terms of quality! I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! She did my mom's hair too and it came out amazing! My mom and I were definitely pleased!
  
  I would recommend Crizen to anyone and everyone!

  I called to schedule an appointment with Crizen just a few days before the event, and she worked her schedule around to fit me in, and it was a completely perfect appointment time for me. They said it looked like I belonged on the red carpet, and thanks to Crizen - I felt like a Hollywood star all day :)

  Crizen did hair and makeup for my wedding and she was simply incredible!! Not only did she listen and give me exactly what I wanted, she also did a lot of unexpected things for me. For example, she suggested that we schedule my trial right before my wedding shower so that I would be all done up for my shower. And even though I had an up-do, she took it down and gave me a beautiful down do for the shower. She's also incredibly efficient - she had to get 5 bridesmaids hair and make-up, plus my mother AND my grandmother done by 10 am on my wedding. She came to my home on my wedding day which was so great. Not only did she finish everyone's hair and make up on time, but it was seriously the most pleasant experience. None of us felt rushed, and she even helped calm my nerve with her great sense of humor and fun. I really loved everything Crizen did for me and I feel like I looked naturally beautiful on my wedding day because of her.
  
  I recommended her to my cousin who also hired her for her wedding. I even go to Crizen to get my hair cut and I get compliments about my style all the time. I highly recommend her for ethnic brides (I'm Asian), anyone with a large wedding party and people who are serious about getting quality service. You will be so happy with the end result - I know I was!

  Crizen did my hair and makeup for my wedding in Puerto Rico on a May afternoon. Her positive attitude and her flexibility made the experience wonderful. My hair looked great even in the humid and hot weather of a tropical island. I didn't want my hair completely up but my dress was halter so I didn't want it to be on my shoulders either. She tried a few styles until we found the perfect one for me. It met all of my requirements and it was comfortable. The makeup was beautiful. It was both natural and elegant. I didn't even have to retouch it all night. Crizen is both professional and friendly. I highly recommend her!! If I lived in Chicago I would only go to her. She is awesome!

  Crizen did my hair and makeup for my wedding, as well as hair for my bridesmaids. I loved working with her, she is sweet and does an amazing job! She offers packages for brides who, like me, want to offer something to their bridesmaids. It was a bit more pricey than I was hoping for, but I definitely don't regret it.
