As a military couple, we had to plan our wedding while being out of state. The moment we hopped on a videocall to tour the venue, Candace was amazing. This venue was exactly what we wanted, close to our family/friends, country feel (while close to the city), and Candace provided the flexibility to make the barn "ours". Working with her gave us peace of mind and it all turned out beautifully!

We absolutely loved our wedding at Cross key acres. Candace all around great. She helped us throughout the planning process and helped everything run smoothly the day of. I would definitely recommend this venue.

Cross Key Acres went above and beyond for us! Candace and her family are so kind. Any last minute problems I had, they handled on the spot. Not to mention the house and outdoor barn are absolutely gorgeous. What more could you really ask for?!

Our decision to use Cross Key Acres as our wedding venue was largely in part to the all-inclusiveness Candace offers. Everything from bartenders, security, valet, and linens were included and a variety of open bar and catering packages were available to meet our needs. The transparency Candace offers in the pricing was a welcome surprise after looking into other venues that added fees for each and every little thing. The location is convenient to major roadways, but feels isolated and intimate once you are out of your vehicle. The evening of our wedding reception went even better than we could have expected due to Candace and her staff’s attention to detail and hospitality to us and our guests. We cannot recommend Cross Key Acres highly enough!

Candace made planning a wedding from another state as easy as possible, from the booking process to the little day-of details that make all of the difference. Candace was always responsive via text and/or email and felt like a lifelong friend the moment I met her. Candace and her team will go out of the way to make sure your day is just as you want it! Cross Key Acres is highly customizable for your ceremony and/or reception; I highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

Cross Key was exactly what my daughter wanted for her wedding. From the beautiful outdoor ceremony and grounds , lovely and comfortable home for getting ready and amazing indoor reception area it made for a magical wedding and sweet memories. Candace is super to work with and so helpful during planning. The day of when there were some last minute unexpected changes to be made Candace was so accommodating fo make sure all was perfect. Would highly recommend!

We wanted a beautiful, affordable outdoor space for a wedding under 100 people. This place was perfect. All the details were taken care of. As a parent of the bride we were happy to use the preferred vendors. They were top notch. I was so glad that most things were taken care of! There are weather plans in place in the event you need to move your event indoors. Candace took care of everything. She always had an answer to deal with things that happened. I would highly recommend Cross Key Acres. Thank you Candace for helping make the wedding day perfect.

Honestly can't say enough about Candace and Cross Key Acres! We had looked at several venues before we found this one! And it was perfect! Candace is the whole package, literally! The venue is beautiful, the facility for getting ready and wedding day time is so comfortable and roomy. The grounds are so pretty and Candace makes sure that every detail is attended to, the caterer, bar, dj, valet, security... all the needs for your day! And she and her staff are so professional and personable! If you want a Beautiful day, with No worries and tons of attention, I recommend Cross Key Acres! You won't regret it!!

Having our wedding at Cross Key Acres was the best decision we could have ever made. Candace was so helpful and always quick to respond. Our wedding was perfectly seamless because of all her hard work beforehand and during the day. I would get married here again and again if I could and I recommend her to everyone who I know is getting married! You will not regret having your wedding at Cross Key Acres!

This venue is a hidden gem. Set way back off the main road, this venue is a beautiful place to hold your wedding and/or reception. Candace, the owner, is hands on 100%. She was there from the beginning of planning to the sparkler exit. She made sure everything was seamless and I didn’t have to do or think about anything. It was worth the price. We got tons of compliments from our guests on how beautiful it was. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding and/or reception.

Cross Key Acres is not only a beautiful place to have your wedding but the family that runs the venue feels like your own family. Candace thinks of everything, helps you with all your needs and even acts as the day of coordinator. Coming from me (another event planner) this was a perfect experience for all of us.

My wedding was first scheduled for March 28, 2020. Yep... I was a Covid bride. Less than 2 weeks before my date, I had to postpone my wedding.
That was an incredibly stressful time. Thanks to Candace and Cross Key Acres, I was reassured that I would be able to reschedule. I was touched by how kind and willing to work with me Candace was. She allowed me to push my date back twice! It was clear that she and her team, although they no doubt suffered losses from this ordeal with Covid, are not just in this for the money. They actually care about their brides and grooms.
On September 27th, we finally had our day! Once again, Candace was a big help in making sure everything ran smoothly. I am so incredibly glad I chose this venue. My pictures came out absolutely gorgeous, and so many of my friends have said, “where is this place? It looks amazing!!”
I can highly recommend Cross Key Acres. I consider them the best vendor I worked with, and you won’t regret choosing them!!

We are SO glad we chose Cross Key Acres as our venue for our wedding reception. The setting was exactly what we were looking for with the beautiful, rustic barn vibe. The barn structure was perfect because it is enclosed with AC (or heating depending on time of year) and it has clear walls so you can see the beautiful 15 acres of land. Not only is the venue absolutely beautiful, but the owner, Candace, was amazing to work with. She was available by text, phone call, or email pretty much any time. She used to be a photographer, so she knows the wedding industry really well and has a great list of preferred vendors that we used. Planning a wedding can be tough, especially on a tight budget, but having Candace as our go to person for any questions made it a lot less stressful. I cannot speak highly enough of Candace and her family. She has a lot of decorations that you can use which saved us a lot of time and money. She took care of everything the day of to make sure everything ran smoothly. I saw a picture on her instagram of these cute wooden signs on the side of the road leading to the venue. Each sign had the "Love is patient, Love is Kind" bible verse so the guests can read them as they drive in. I had asked her about them ahead of time since I saw them on instagram from a previous wedding at Cross Keys. She had let us know that she did not own those signs and they were a previous bride's decor but she said the bride now rents them out if we wanted to do that. We loved the idea but we were already over our budget so we decided to pass on them. On our wedding day as we were driving up to the reception, we saw that the signs were there! She went out of her way and rented the signs on her own to surprise us! That is just one of the many examples I could give of how Candace went above and beyond to make our wedding and the entire planning process wonderful and a lot less stressful. Another example of how awesome they are....We provided our own alcohol for the reception and about an hour into our reception she let us know that we only had about 2 cases of beer left! We thought that we had bought more than enough, but it was a hot day and everyone was drinking beer instead of the wine. Her husband ended up running to the store to pick up several more cases so that we wouldn't run out. Otherwise, we would have had to bug one of our family members or friends to leave the reception to pick it up. I highly recommend anyone having their wedding/reception at Cross Key Acres! You will not be disappointed!

Cross Key Acres, and it’s owner, Candace, were absolute TOP NOTCH in every sense of the word/phrase! She was always available, whether it be for something with logistics or just for a quick opinion or piece of advice! She goes above and beyond to make your special day the best it can possibly be! I’ll just give an example: About halfway through our reception, she came up to me and said we were down to only a couple cases of beer left, and she offered to have her husband go out and get more for us! To give that much care and attention to something like that meant so much to us, and truly made us feel like family and not “clients.” I recommend Cross Key Acres 1000% and if you have the chance, go check it out!

We had a wedding with 100ish people on New Year’s Eve at cross key. It was amazing. Candace and her staff did everything possible to make it a great memorable night. Would highly recommend this place.

Cross key acres made my wedding dream come true! The owner of the property is such a huge help every step of the way. She would answer and questions i had via text or phone call with in the same day. She was definitely the reason why my day went as smooth as it did. Thank you so much ❤️

Look no further than Cross Key Acres! They have such a beautiful venue and you get so much bang for your buck! Not to mention, you get Candace, who is the owner/day of coordinator. Candace makes things happen. She was essential in helping me plan my wedding and would go above and beyond to make sure we were at ease. If anything went wrong on the big day, I didn't know about it because she took care of it all! Candace would respond to my emails quickly, let me come out to tour the venue several times, meet with any potential vendors that I wanted to use, and so much more. I cannot express how pivotal she was in making our big day such a success. Also, since this is a family owned venue, she allows you to bring your vision to life with hardly any restrictions which is just amazing and hard to come by. I had so many guests tell me it was one of the best venues they've ever been to in Houston. Cross Key Acres is beyond perfect and I cannot recommend it enough. I would do my wedding there over and over again.

Candace was amazing to work with, beginning to start. She was so accommodating and so willing to help with anything at all. I would recommend this place to any one who wants a truly beautiful, unique venue that can be tailored to be everything you've ever imagined your wedding to be.

Candace made our wedding experience Perfect! We couldn’t have had a more perfect wedding. Every little slip up Candace was there to fix it before I even knew about it. We also got so many compliments from guest about our venue. If you want a simple, yet gorgeous venue this is it! This place hardly needs decoration. It’s beautiful on its own! And Candace (the owner was great). We did the inclusive package so she took care of everything except the alcohol and DJ. It was so easy for me, who was working and planned the wedding on my own.

I can't say enough good things about Candace and her venue. It's a hidden gem in Richmond, TX! Candace was incredibly down-to-earth, honest, and kind. Honestly, I felt as if I was planning my wedding with my favorite family friend. Her background in wedding photography clearly made a difference in how she chooses her vendors, how she prices the packages, and how she guides her brides. Of all the things I loved, the food from Good Company was amazing, cooked ON-SITE. Our guests are still raving about it! Looking back, I'm so glad I didn't get married anywhere else.
