Bindy sold herself as a true professional who has worked in the event planning industry for over 30 years. She single handily ruined my wedding ceremony and reception on 9.12.15 in Venice, CA. She made changes to the finalized timeline for the wedding day without my permission, omitted the best man poem I had picked out and that she and I discussed, she had father toasts on the schedule, but no best man toasts.....and seeing how both my husband and I's father is dead and not in our lives, but both of our best men were there and ready to give speeches, I was shocked. She was rude to all my other vendors who reported back to me about her, one of my bridesmaid had to take her aside and ask her to calm herself around me and keep it together and she lied to the venue manager saying I approved the floor plan changes she made last minute, when I did nothing of the sort. She procrastinates till the last minute and does not provide you with half of what she outlines in her contract. She will make you stress more then stress less. Please, spend the extra money to get a REAL wedding planner and not waste your money on her so, in the end, you have to fight to get reimbursed due to breach of contract on her end.

This is a very disconcerting review. I not only provided all that my contract stated I would, I also provided all the items needed when the wedding was changed from the beach to the venue at the last minute. I did not charge more and lost valuable setup time. I supplied all the stands, material, plates, linen, misc. decor throughout the venue at no cost (I even paid to have everything cleaned). I knew they had a tight budget (unrealistic) and would not have had the wedding they did had they hired someone else. I made one change and that was where the gift table was (behind the photo booth next to the bathroom where anyone could easily have taken anything and not be seen) to a more public location. All other changes were made by the venue in not moving certain items. They have fully decorated sweetheart table (all provided by me, including the table, for free) and it turned out gorgeous. I showed them the place before the wedding starting and both were in love with the place. I gave them so much more than they paid for. They did not pay for full planning, only day of, yet I helped them with vendor contacts and lots of answers to questions that were under full/partial planning. I answered calls at all hours and returned missed calls (at 2 am in the morning) the next day. It has been hard to have this happen, but I can understand as they did a very poor job in planning the wedding (a cocktails only during dinner hours and not letting the guests know, so guests left to go eat) though I worked hard to help guide them. At the end of the day, the couple makes all decisions, and a planner/coordinator can only recommend.
