  Wedding at Regatta Place

  It was super easy to set up a meeting at the Newport location for a tasting. They let you try 4 different flavors of your choice. We wanted to do a gluten free cutting cake and then about 130 cupcakes instead of cake for our reception and gluten free was not a problem at all for them! It seemed a lot less expensive than your standard big old wedding cake. Plus, when they delivered, they left boxes for guests to take cupcakes home if there were any left. The Hostess with the Mostess was so DELICIOUS! They had a lot of different flavor options available and are able to customize any way you like (with wedding colors, designs, etc). Cupcake Charlies even had different display options to choose from and delivered right to our location (Regatta Place, Goat Island) and set up. They looked so amazing and all our guests thought cupcakes were a great idea!

  We got cupcakes for our wedding from Cupcake Charlie's and they were delicious! The display was beautiful and our guests raved about how tasty they were. We went for our tasting at the Foxboro location, but the Newport location was closer to our wedding venue and the communication between the two branches was seamless- everything was as we discussed. I highly recommend Cupcake Charlie's, I am so happy with our decision to use them!

  My husband and I chose to celebrate with just the two of us. So this review is not so much a catering review but a taste review since we only bought a dozen! And lemmetellyousomething, I have tried so many cupcakes and out of all of the cupcakeries in Newort, these are the best ones! My favorite is "Hostess with the Mostess" Moist, delicious, and the frosting is not tooo sweet. I would say they are some of the loveliest cupcakes ever ;-)

  I recently used Cupcake Charlie's as the main dessert for my wedding in June. They were so wonderful! I had gone to a few other bakeries who specialized in cupcakes before venturing to Newport (I'm from Providence), but am I sure glad I crossed the bridge to find them!
  The variety of cupcake flavors alone should be what drives you to choose them over any competitors. They will allow you to pick from any of the "flavor of the day" cupcakes that they have ever made as long as you are ordering a dozen or more of each flavor. Reason number two to choose them would be the sheer excitement that their cupcakes invoke among your guests. People just flocked to the display table all afternoon to stare at their beauty and proclaim which kind they would choose, once allowed.
  Cupcake Charlie's is so accommodating and the staff is just as sweet as the baked goods. Jenna the manager was an absolute gem to work with.
  They delivered the cupcakes all the way from one end of RI to the other (for an added fee), supplied take away boxes for any leftover cupcakes, decorated the cake stand in my wedding colors and executed the display like real gourmet cupcake professionals.
  The baked treats themselves are phenomenal tasting and beautifully decorated with personal touches. I desperately want to have another extravagant event just so I have an excuse to splurge on a couple dozen. Each time I try a new cupcake flavor, it becomes my new favorite kind, and i am honestly not even a sweets person!
