  Curtis Mason's work is absolutely wonderful and unique! I reached out to him about photographing my Father's service at Arlington National Cemetery and without hesitation he was happy to do so! Within 2 days he had my photos ready and I was able to share it with my family overseas. I can't wait to have him photograph my wedding!! I only wished I discovered his company before my best friend's wedding so that he could have captured her special day as well. I definitely recommend him!!

  I have known Curtis since I was a child and now I'm 26. When I found out he was starting his own business I couldn't think of anyone better to capture my engagement photos. My fiance and I wanted something in our hometown where we met but were afraid the commute was too far for him, but Curtis drove all the way to Frederick, Maryland which meant the world to us. This was my fiance's first time meeting him and by the end of the session they were acting like they've known each for years, which is a huge compliment since my fiance is usually the quite one. I picked the places I thought were best and from there Curtis led the way and captured us in ways I would've never even thought of! He made this process so easy and a lot of fun. I got to see a couple pictures during the day and I'm already in love with them. Everything from the scheduling to the day of our communication was perfect. I highly recommend him for any photography needs. I hope to work with him next year when we get married.

  Go no further! I've known Curtis Mason since he was 7 months old...he literally grew up across the street from our home and I've watched him grow and develop into an intelligent, kind individual who now pours his passion into his photographs. He recently took engagement photos for my daughter and we reviewed them today with awe...he captured the light just right, their smiles...even made their dog pose in just the right way to reflect their deep love for each other! He has a gift...and will share his talents with you when you book him for your next event.

  Our whole experience with Curtis has been great. He did both our engagement and our wedding photos. We were very impressed by how during our engagement shoot he was quickly able to get the best picture possible, taking pictures from several different angles in a quick manner. I don't know how he was able to edit so many pictures all so quickly, as he sent us the proofs within a few days. Throughout the whole session, Curtis was conversing and cracking jokes with us, making it easy for my then-fiance and I to enjoy ourselves and the experience (no small task, as I'm notorious for disliking taking pictures)
  
  At the actual wedding, other than one brief set of posed photos, I don't recall seeing him take any pictures at all, but was surprised when I saw the quality of all the candid pictures he took, catching my wife and I our friends and family in great, natural laughs, smiles and poses. Ever since our first session with Curtis, I've recommended him to any and everyone I find out is having a wedding or other special event and need a photographer, and will continue to do so. He should start paying me commission. 10/10 would have Curtis take pictures at any of our future events.

  Curtis was very professional and responsive throughout the process. He captured so many moments in our TEDxHerndon event. We continue to receive compliments from speakers and VIPs about the high quality of the pictures. There were so many unique happenings during the day and Curtis captured all of it.

  I have known Curtis for a very long time as he is a really good friend of me and my husbands. When I saw that he had launched his side photography business I reached out to see if he would be interested in photographing my baby shower. He responded immediately and got me scheduled and in the books. He even reached out a week before the event to make sure we were still on, which was great and very professional.
  
  He showed up to the event 45 minutes early to photograph all of the food and decor before the guests arrived. His attention to detail and creativity was magnificent and truly blew me away and captured all the hard work my mom, neighbor, and best friend put into the shower!!! He stayed another 3.5 hours or so photographing me and my guests and the opening of presents (which is a super tedious task). If ever I asked him to photograph something he was up and willing to do so no question (that being staged shots with guests, although he got a lot of really great candid moments as well). Any guy who can hang around and photograph for 3.5 hours with a house full of 30 women talking about the joys of pregnancy and looking at all the gifts, is truly awesome (good job Curtis, you survived and learned a lot I'm sure).
  
  Another HUGE plus was how quickly he turned around, edited and got my pictures back to me. I wasn't expecting to get them back so soon, so it was such a lovely surprise. I was in absolute awe of how awesome the pictures turned out. I cannot exaggerate enough how talented Curtis is. His attention to creativity and detail is on point and you will NOT be disappointed!! He is one of the kindest souls I have ever met and I'm lucky that I not only have him as a friend but as a photographer who captured such a special event for me that I will forever be able to relive and cherish through the pictures.

  Curtis did our wedding September 2016. We are very happy and 100% satisfied with the photos. Photos took about 4 weeks after wedding to receive. The quality of his work is absolutely on par with every other photographer we explored, but he offered tremendous value. No doubt we caught him before his portfolio expanded. As soon as he gets 10-20-30 weddings under his belt, I bet his rates skyrocket. He even threw in a complimentary engagement shoot. Everyone loved working with him. He was also incredibly accommodating. Many wedding vendors just do their thing, they've been through it a hundred times....but Curtis sat with me to plan every 10 minutes of my wedding, asking questions along the way, so he knew where to be and what to focus on at every moment.
