My husband and I found out about Custom Cakes by Adele through our venue ( Monterre Vineyards). We were still in COVID times when we had inquired about our wedding cake and were able to get a take away box to sample. It was almost a difficult decision to choose which we wanted because each and every flavor of cake and buttercream frosting was so delicious. Adele was very professional and easy to work with. She helped us figure out exactly what we wanted. Chocolate covered strawberry's for me and oreo's for my husband. Which far exceeded our expectations. The delivery time was perfect, we were drooling just looking at the cake before we said our vows : ). All of our guests raved about how good it was and begged for some of the leftovers to take home. If you have the chance to get a cake made by Adele, expect to be impressed.Custom Cakes by Adele's reply:

My wedding venue posted a picture of another couple's cake that was done by Custom Cakes by Adele and I knew immediately that I wanted to book with her! Our cake was not only beautiful and perfect but it tasted amazing! We got so many compliments from our guests! Adele & Team made our wedding cake. It turned out absolutely gorgeous!! It beyond exceeded our expectations and everyone RAVED about the taste. It can be scary ordering a cake for a big day and not knowing what it will look like until the day of. I truly didn’t know it was possible to make a cake as beautiful as ours was. I got married on 11/16 and all i can say is that the cake was absolutely amazing!!!! It tasted absolutely delicious and it was GORGEOUS!!!!! Adele was really nice to work with too; her enthusiasm about our cake was so nice to see! This cake had everyone raving and wanting more. We had so many compliments from all our guest on how good this cake was. We had different flavor cake layer. ( coconut and almond) My husband and I could not wait till we ate our wedding cake.it was one of the highlights after saying “I DO” this cake blew everyone’s taste buds away. One of our biggest wedding wishes was to have a cake that tasted amazing... and that's what we got from Adele! We were blown away from our first taste through the holiday cupcake sale and even ended up choosing one of the flavors in our cake. Both of our choices, coconut with fluffy coconut filling and chocolate with peanut butter chocolate chip filling, were big hits with the guests. We can't wait to fall in love with the cake all over again when we get to enjoy the first anniversary tier!
Adele and Mike were a dream to work with as they are so genuine and love what they are doing. Every step of the process was easy with them and the cake never became something we stressed about. We couldn't have made a better choice!Custom Cakes by Adele's reply:

Adele and Mike were wonderful to work with. Our meeting beforehand and tasting were so fun and they were very helpful in creating exactly what we wanted...simple, elegant, and delicious. It was more than perfect and exceeded our expectations!! We knew it was delicious from our tasting, but I swear the cake itself tasted even better!!! Highly recommend their signature vanilla cake with vanilla bean buttercream-SO DELICIOUS!!! I can’t even count how many complements we received for both the taste and design. I can not say enough positive things about Adele and Mike at Cakes by Adele. As soon as my husband and I went to meet them (before we even had our tasting), we knew immediately that they would be the ones who we would hire for our wedding cake. Not only are the cakes that Adele makes simply beautiful, but Mike and Adele are just the kindest people you will ever meet. They were very patient with us as we decided exactly what we wanted and provided insights into how they could help make my vision come to life without replicating exactly a picture of what I found on Pinterest. They were also very respectful about staying within our budget, which is rare in the wedding industry! As soon as we tasted the strawberry cake, we were beyond sold. It was so fresh and moist. Our guests are still raving about it 3 weeks later! We are actually thrilled to have not only the anniversary cake (which they give as a "gift), but almost our whole 2 tier cake to enjoy in the months to come!Custom Cakes by Adele's reply:

From the moment we met Adele, she was amazing. From the tasting to the big day - everything was beyond perfect. First off - the taste of the cakes were DELICIOUS! So moist, so tasty, so everything you could ever want. My now husband and I literally made noises at how tasty they were at our meeting. We had a budget and a unique vision, and she was more than willing to work with all of it. We had 6 different cakes and flavors (1 2-tier wedding cake, 1 groom's cake, and 4 other guest cakes), and our guests raved about each one. (The butter vanilla was my favorite!) The presentation was beautiful - her sugar fall leaves were absolutely stunning and so well done. It's over a month later, and we're still hearing great reviews from our guests. We inhaled our leftover cake within a week after our wedding. She was great with communication, helping explain everything, coming up with ideas, payments... just absolutely one of our favorite vendors of the day. You won't find better in the LHV! She included directions with our top tier for preservation/freezing also. We will definitely go back to her for future cake needs!Custom Cakes by Adele's reply:

Cake & Cupcakes 10/5/18
Adele was wonderful to work with from the moment we decided to have her bake our cake and cupcakes for our wedding! Her cake is the BEST! I can be super indecisive and she was so helpful throughout the entire process! We decided on a cutting cake and cupcakes for our guests with multiple flavors! We received so many compliments on how delicious the cupcakes were! She also does custom sugar flowers and let me tell you it is seriously ART! Ashley Sent on 07/23/2018Adele knocked our wedding cake out of the park! It was even more beautiful than the inspiration picture I showed her and featured gorgeous handmade sugar roses. I absolutely loved all of it! On top of that, it was delicious and got numerous compliments! People are still talking about the cake from the wedding!

Perfect in every way
Even though I got married over a year ago, I felt the need to write a review. We cracked open the top layer to our cake that we had frozen to enjoy on our one year anniversary...it was just as good as I remembered it being at our tasting and at our wedding! I told my husband that the only anniversary gift I wanted from here on out was a cake from Adele. Working with Adele was a pleasure and the cake she made for us was beautiful. She runs a small but extremely professional home bakery and makes some of the most delicious cakes and beautifully realistic sugar flowers I have ever seen. We purchased a romantic three tier wedding cake made with lemon pound cake, lemon curd and raspberry filling, buttercream icing, lace detailing, and Adele's signature natural sugar roses. Perfection! She even made a few extra flowers so I could decorate a small gluten free cake for my matron of honor and a few other guests. I recommend going to her house for a tasting so you can try a variety of the icing and cake options (chocolate, peanut butter, and baileys, for example) :)Custom Cakes by Adele's reply:
