    Matthew at Custom Ceremony Designs was great to work with and they provided the "chuppah" for my wedding ceremony. Although it arrived a little late due to a mix up with the delivery address, they had it assembled and ready for decoration in record time. Then, because there wasn't enough time before, Matthew stayed late to give us the chance to take pictures, even though it was longer than originally scheduled. The piece was beautiful, the price was the best I've found and I would definitely work with them again.

    Absolutely LOVED OUR LUCITE!!!! Such a special touch for our wedding reception. It was gorgeous. Thank you Matt P and your team for all your help in making our wedding so magical!

    I'm an interior designer so settling on my ceremony decor was a pretty big ordeal for me. Once I found pictures of Matt's work with Custom Ceremony Designs I knew I'd nailed it. Matt makes some seriously AMAZING stuff, and is a really creative guy. I had so much fun batting around ideas with him. He was super professional, patient, friendly, and just generally easy to work with. My lucite chuppah was probably the most complimented element of my entire wedding - it was absolutely phenomenal. Working with Matt was one of my best decisions as a bride, and as an interior designer, I'd hire him in an instant to collaborate on a professional project.

    Matt and his team were terrific to collaborate with. The acrylic chuppah we had created for a wedding is very versatile. In fact, we're using it for a Vegas-style client party this holiday season.

    The most awful experience ever!

    I contracted for an acrylic Chuppah for my wedding September 30th at the Oheka Castle in Long Island, NY. The contract specifically stated that it was for a garden ceremony. The company sent one person to set up this large acrylic structure who arrived 1130am even though I was told he would be there by 9am. Two of the beams fell during set up and broke. No one notified us. Fortunately, I noticed that the structure was not set up at 1230 and had someone locate the person who was setting the structure up. He said that it wasn’t his fault as he should have had a helper with him. In addition he said it was too late to have another Chuppah delivered for the ceremony. Fortunately, after two extremely stressful hours, my husband was able to locate another Chuppah from a different vendor. The ceremony was delayed and if we did not find a lighting person, we would have been married in the dark.
    No one from management called us to offer any assistance or apologize. We had to pay extra $900 for the lighting company plus additional $460 for help trying to fix the first Chuppah, which they broke.
    The next day my husband called the owner, Matthew and the first thing he said was that he knew who he was and had heard what happened. He then said he was on vacation and he didn’t like being called on his cell phone and hung up the phone.
    We couldn’t believe his words. He was extremely rude and aggressive.
    At the end we received extremely unpleasant email, stating that he refuses to take any responsibility, refuses to cover the extra costs related to this terrible incident and at the end only offered a partial refund.
    We will definitely file a lawsuit and but most importantly we truly hope that no one else will ever have to go through such a horrifying experience on their wedding day.

    Not Surprising the truth was badly twisted here. First time in 300 rentals I have ever had a break on job, of course it's for Bridzilla. This one was so bad even her husband and future mother-in-law commented on her irrationality during the best of circumstances. This was a terrible accident, everything was done to help and a resolution was found. Our shop was 2.5 hours from the venue, there was no way to do a back-and-forth to replace 2, 8' pillars. You were refunded $1500 , so no, I am not paying you more on top of that. You still used my tables and pillars and even returned one of those broken broken. NOTHING was mentioned about the set up being outdoors and there was zero help day of . Horrible communication, no one to show us where to set up, we had to search the palace for anyone to help and found a cook who barely spoke English. It is agreed though, this job was a nightmare for all. While the bride will like you to believe we were incompetent and she was just a victim , this was a one-time thing fueled by poor communication and planning on the brides part as well.
