Michele put so much time and effort into every detail of my flowers for my special day. I sent pictures and Michele matched them identical if not better. I requested headbands of fresh flowers and she did it and made them look better then the pictures I sent, she is truly what her name is.. “Custom flower design” This florist exceeded my expectations in everything she did and HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND her if you want beautiful flowers on your special wedding day. -

Christine in sincere, understanding, and takes all of you wants and needs into consideration. Pricing is great and it is amazing to have a one stop shop, having one person do EVERYTHING!. I look forward to continuing to work with her on planning my wedding and I know she will make the day beyond special for me. -

She really captured what I was looking for and wanted for everyone involved in my party. I would recommend her to all my friends who are getting married or need something for a special occasion. -
User1893436 Sent on 10/29/2014I rented out 450 chair covers and sashes from Christine and only gave her 3 weeks notice. She pulled it off and the venue looked great for my wedding. I would certainly reccommend her. She did a delivery and set up with take down and worked with my budget as well. -

Christine is more than willing to work with you and go above and beyond to ensure the dreams for your day are met. Not only does she do flowers, but she also offers invitations, favors, place cards, and about anything else you can think of. She was a pleasure to work with. -

User1786283 Sent on 08/29/2014Christine of Custom Floral Designs was very responsive and prompt, however, I was not thrilled with the way my bridesmaids bouquets turned out. Most of the flower buds on some were unopened. On others, the orange pollen had marked up the inside of the white & pink flowers. She did a great job using the ribbon I had provided to her to wrap the bridesmaid bouquets the way I showed her I wanted done (with a bow). But, she used the same ribbon to wrap the boutonnieres, which I was different from what I asked her to do. It turned into too many stripes on the panels of the groomsmen's jackets-- they had striped ties & striped ribbon wrapping their boutonnieres -- when I had previously given Christine pictures of tweed wrapped boutonnieres & said that's what I wanted. Also, I very affordably rented cloth napkins from Christine -- which were great -- navy blue, as requested. I also rented pew bows & table runners that were supposed to be navy blue -- but they were royal blue -- which I was very unhappy about. Finally, my bridesmaid bouquet was supposed to be white orchids with yellow centers. Christine said she could get that for me when I showed her a picture. Literally, a few days before the wedding -- she emailed me to ask if I would be happy with white and PINK orchids!? I didn't see the email, & that's what I ended up with the day of. I was NOT happy to have pink in my motif (which was supposed to be all white) that day, at all. But, I didn't let it bug me that day, & just tried to roll with it. It really erks me after the fact, but again, oh well.
So overall, the prices were very reasonable. Christine was willing to work with my budget -- which was not terribly small (I think I paid about 1300), by the way. The prices of the table runners, pew bows & napkins can't be beat -- but not having them match, and not knowing they were not going to match until the wedding day, was very upsetting (royal blue & navy blue). -
User1893301 Sent on 10/29/2014I used Christine for a variety of services due to her price. I should preface this by saying that things like fancy flowers, invites, save the date's, etc is not my style. I preferred to spend $ on a cool venue, good food and open bar. At the end of the day, as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for." That was our experience. We used her for save the date's, invitations, dish rentals, decor, flowers, picking up the wedding cake, flowers and day of coordination. It was hit or miss. The save the date's went out fine and she was very reasonably priced - no issues there. The invitation that she showed us upon our initial meeting was NOT the invitation she sent out. Granted, that was something that wasn't important to us(spending gobs of $ on an invite), but that and the fact that there were some grammar issues on them was a problem. She sent me a rough draft of most of the invite, but not all of it. Just little things, where in one spot something was capitalized and another spot, it wasn't. The invites suited us fine( so cheap) but I'd highly recommend looking it all over with a fine-toothed comb(again, I don't put the full blame on her, but something to be aware of).
Things got dicey when we had some issues with the dish rental and she kind of freaked out and IMO, didn't act like a professional wedding coordinator should (as she claims that is what she is). Isn't your job to calm the bride down and fix any issues 3 days beforehand? She bailed on helping to set up decor at the reception space(like she had initially said she would) and left my mom to do all of it. Thank gosh the reception staff was helpful.
The flowers were very pretty - again, I'm not a bride that was picky about them. If you are picky about those things, make sure you are clear on what you want or go with an actual florist shop (she works out of her home). I think that is the one area where she shined).
All in all, out of all of my vendors, she was the one disappointment. -

Cathy Sent on 08/12/2018After picking up floral we had to have multiple items fixed by a florist in our home town. I did not have good contact at all times. I thought for a while the down payment was taken and she ran but after months finally showed back up. she asked questions that I felt were important late in the game just 5 weeks before everything was supposed to be done. I said I was concerned and she assured me I had no reason to be......I asked for an invoice total for MONTHS and finally the DAY BEFORE pickup she says I owe her $1250 on top of the $500 I already paid for fake floral. she made me pay it all upfront in order to pick anything up just 12 days before my wedding as she has been screwed over before and didn't think I would keep my word. when I walked in i see why its so much! she got a decent amount of measurements wrong making things too big having to use more floral than needed. on yea and her 'supplier' is hobby lobby so when you can only get pictures and not see things in person just head over there and make sure you like what you see! -
User1697796 Sent on 07/06/2014I used Christine for my wedding from a recommendation, and was not please. I . Her prices are nice but, do know it is to rent flowers which I did not realize. And after looking back made sense I went back to her on three occasion and sent pictures and flowers never changed. My bouquet was brown lucky for me my aunt said she thought flowers would look bad so she got me a rose bouquet from lockers flower shop. I also had her do my place cards which she screw up on which leads me to think on why she never came back. I will say one thing she did right was my sequin tablecloth that she rented for me. On my big day she was no where to be found saying she had an emergency so she could not come back . I will just says beware of people that seem very nice, and fyi if you are not fond of pets do note that this is a home business and although nice they have a huge black lab, but will not at all mention this to you, which I found rude, and I love dogs have two, but a heads up would have been nice. So in the end pay the extra money and get good flowers

User2271830 Sent on 08/15/2015With a fiancée who works in the wedding industry himself, we have never experienced such an unprofessional vendor. While the first meeting seemed to go fine, it was only downhill from there. Five weeks out from the wedding, the owner still had not created any samples to show us, or started on our work. When I asked if she could begin, she said there was plenty of time and to "relax." Later, when we went to her home to view what she had made, we were disappointed to see that nothing looked anything like the many pictures and notes we had given her. Instead of beautiful, bright bouquets, we were given mismatched, brown bouquets of silk flowers that looked like they had been flattened. She then completely disregarded notes and made the bride bouquet the completely wrong colors, and then blamed me, the bride, for not giving her pictures of my bouquet (I then had to simply turn over one page to reveal a picture of a bouquet with BRIDE written largely next to it).
Upon giving her a second chance to redo things, they were barely altered and we terminated our contract (she kept the deposit). We tried to pick up supplies we had given her which we needed, and upon calling her to get them, she said she was out of town until the week before our wedding, and we would have to wait. Upon telling her this was unacceptable and our property, she rudely responded to requests, but did finally give us our property back by leaving it on her porch. Planning a wedding is an unfortunate time to learn a hard lesson, and we were left disappointed and lost our deposit money, and left searching for a florist weeks before our wedding.
