Food was great and they were easy to work with. Would definitely recommend them for all catered events. Only thing I wish is that they would let us take the left overs home.Cutting Edge Catering & Events's reply:

Unfortunately, due to food liability issues & the limited cold storage at that venue we don't allow you to take any leftover food. We did take it back to Cutting Edge & donate it to MorningStar Mission the following day. -

We hired Cutting Edge catering to cater our wedding in April of 2019. My husband and I were slightly cautious after reading a few negative reviews, but we have been in the 'people-pleasing' business before and know that there will always be people who are unhappy with service. After meeting Chad and having our tasting, we were happy to choose Cutting Edge for our catering. Not only did Cutting Edge have a great variety of food options that were all delicious, they also went above and beyond helping with many of the small details for us and they assisted with setup and tear down. They helped eliminate all the extra worry of how things were going to flow and get organized in time for the reception to begin. Chad was very patient with us as we navigated our way around planning a wedding. He was very quick and to the point at responding to our e-mails. His invoices were very informative, as they were broken down for each separate cost. The staff that we had at our wedding were also very helpful and friendly! Cutting Edge Catering catered by wedding reception and they were amazing! They were very responsive to e-mails and calls when we had questions or wanted to change some options. They are very professional and understanding. The reception went so well! Everyone said the staff was very nice and the food was great! The linens for the tables and chairs were beautiful. The baker they use for wedding cakes was also great! Everyone said the cake tasted great and it was beautiful!Cutting Edge Catering & Events's reply:

We had a couple of unexpected events and Cutting Edge handled them beautifully. I had complete freedom knowing my caterers were handling everything.

We met a bride and her groom months before we decided on our venue (BOHC) and she couldn’t say enough great things about the venue and Chad. We did decide on BOHC because it was beautiful! Of course we had no idea what to do next! Chad quickly gave us direction. Our wedding experience seemed to have been one of the easiest projects we could have done. Chad had answers and ideas for us along with wonderful recommendations.
Speaking with Chad, he has a very calming personality and we really felt as though our wedding day was in the best hands. If there was something my husband and I didn’t mention, Chad made sure to bring it to our attention. He never once made us feel like he was selling a product to us. Our tasting was a fantastic event in itself. He shared ideas of what food combinations might go better than another and in all honesty- his recommendations were right.
We had interviewed several people for our DJ and I can tell you, there are some interesting people out there! Mike, the DJ from Better Than A Jukebox was amazing. We loved him from the moment we met him. While sitting with Mike, you can feel his desire to make this the best moment of our lives. He was honest and simple, not a lot of talk but a lot of doing.
At BOHC, the setting was perfect, there really was nothing for us to run around and do before hand. We were able to bring things over ahead of time and the staff put everything exactly where needed. The wedding site was beautiful and the reception room was perfect. The food was delicious and served timely. We didn’t hear any grumblings from our guests (and we would have if needed). The tables were spacious and the spacing was roomy. Plenty of room to dance and Mike providing music that had us all dancing all night long.
We couldn’t have asked for service and we highly recommend Cutting Edge. They really know what they are doing with many compliments from our guests.

User1070823 Sent on 01/17/2013Wow! Cutting Edge Catering was awesome beginning to end. Chad was always quick to respond with any questions we had. When we walked into the reception hall everything was beautiful. The twinkle lights everywhere made it elegant. The staff were very professional and well coordinated. They had the place very clean and tables were set up so beautifully! They were friendly and catered to our every need. The food was excellent!! Everyone especially enjoyed the whipped mashed potatoes and rosemary chicken. The cake from Cathy's Sweet Creations was so good!! Thanks Cathy for a beautiful, delicious cake. We had the greenhouse too for the reception and pictures since it was a January wedding and it was perfect. The flowers made the whole greenhouse very fragrant and the diffused lighting made it perfect for pictures. One of the staff at the end of reception was putting away chairs and the bride's little brother helped him so this young man gave him $2 for helping him. That sure made his evening. Thank You! We want to thank all staff from Cutting Edge and Cathy's for making our son's and his bride's wedding reception a perfectly wonderful occasion. -
User1045250 Sent on 12/14/2012LEt me start by saying the tasting session was unbelievable. It was my then fiance and myself, nd they brought out ood for an entire army, with warm cookies for dessert. Everything at our wedding was wonderful. We didn't get a chance to try the appetizers, but we have heard they were good. I loved how everything was exactly on time, and the staff was amazing. My husband and I ate during the cocktail hour by ourselves in a different room, then socialized the entire dinner time. Michele and her staff were completely accommodating to this unique setup. We had one server who would check on every so often to make sure we didn't need anything and it was perfect. I think her name was Alissa or Alicia and she was just great!! And the Ice Cream Sundae Bar was amazing, and went over so well with our guests! Thank you Cutting Edge Catering for helping us make our wedding one of a kind. -

Not only did they take care of the food but they helped coordinate other rentals such as the chairs for the ceremony. Also, it was convenient that they coordinated with Cathy's Creations for the cake. We didn't have to worry about paying these other vendors since they included the prices with the catering total amount. The sales coordinator is very patient, honest and personable. The food was handled very well and was delicious! We were very happy with the outcome!

The prices are average for a catering service compared to the rest of the approved vendors and caterers on the list from the facility we rented for our wedding. The thing that set Cutting Edge Catering apart was Chad, who was always available for any questions I had via email or phone and responded almost immediately. He worked with me on pricing and any questions I had. We had a taste test and were treated like a king and queen and the food was so delicious we only hoped it tasted that good come wedding day almost 8 months later. One the day of the event I don't think that dancing even began before our guests were already coming up to use complimenting us on the choice of food we picked and how wonderful everything we was. Aside from a few comments that the pasta was cold (which was understandable to me as we rented a facility without a kitchen so everything was prepared off site and brought it and kept warm) I was completely thrilled with the food and wished I could have boxed it up and taken it home! Better than a restaurant meal! The service of the staff at the wedding was great, our server at our head table was professional and friendly and happy and there consistently to make sure we had everything we needed. We ordered family style and the staff did their job to make sure the guests knew they could have more food if their dishes ran out. That was key for us to make sure our guests felt they didn't have to ask for more food - that the staff was there to serve them so they didn't have to ask! The Bartender was great - there were a few comments on the light drink orders at the beginning of the night but once dinner ended those comments were taken back by the very people who made them :) and it is my understanding the bartender knew exactly what she was doing!! Wonderful service and professionalism. Highly recommended. -

User2317489 Sent on 09/15/2015Food was delicious! Our only concern was that the service was 1/2 hour late to the venue. Fortunately, the groom and groomsmen took care of everything and I (the bride) was unaware of the situation and frantic time crunch they created. Once everything was set, it was perfect.
