We had a tough time finding where to start with this review because every element of our wedding at CV Rich Mansion surpassed our expectations.

A major reason why we chose this venue was due to it’s location. Our family and friends were coming from NY, NJ, PA, MA, NH, ME, and some southern/western states, so we were looking for somewhere easily accessible from all directions (with no crazy traffic like in BX/LI/NYC), near an airport, hotel, and with a lot of things to do nearby. White Plains was perfect and very charming. Our hotel, venue, restaurants, cafes, stores, mall and after party bar were all within 5-10 minutes of each other and super easy to get to.

Christine was our point person from day one. Communication with her was timely and transparent throughout the entire process and her professional demeanor made our experience stress-free. As an out-of-state couple, she was super helpful providing insight, sending pictures, answering questions as they popped up, and scheduling a few visits for us before and after the wedding. She gave her honest opinion which helped us a lot when we were on the fence with a few things. Upon arrival for the rehearsal, we met with Christine and Michelle, who were a great help to us and our families - from the many questions to the many boxes of decorations we brought in ourselves, they had positive attitudes and were able to create a beautiful day for us with the help of their team at CV Rich. We really loved working with everyone there!

Since we were not as familiar with the area, Christine suggested having our rehearsal dinner nearby at their sister property, Sam’s of Gedney Way. This is where we had our initial tasting for the wedding menu (which was a blast) and where we ended up returning for the rehearsal dinner that was just as fun as our wedding. We had a private room on the enclosed patio, which was perfect for our group. The food was unbelievable - our guests were raving about it all weekend - and the service was amazing. We were able to meet May, head bartender for our wedding, who worked both of these events - she was phenomenal.

Photos of the mansion were great - we booked this venue without even visiting - but once we were able to see it in person, it was so much better than we thought. We loved how there were so many rooms for our guests to access and the vast amount of windows that let in natural light throughout the mansion. The rooms were already so nicely decorated, we didn’t need to do much to them. There was plenty of room for the items that we did display (6’ seating chart mirror, photo frames, guest book, card boxes and small bud vases). The sun rooms were my favorite, and were so perfect for our portrait photos when we were unable to have them outside due to the rain. Having two separate bridal suites upstairs the whole day/night was ideal; this private area was great for getting ready (hair & makeup were done at the hotel) and storing our personal items during the event. Unfortunately, our photographers didn’t capture as many photos of the venue itself, which we are very sad about, since everything looked so beautiful (I tried to include a few photos here that do show it off a bit).

With rain in the forecast, we knew there was a chance we’d have to move the ceremony inside. Christine was texting with me all morning as we discussed the best possible options. We ended up having the ceremony inside, which was disappointing since we were dreaming of our ceremony in the garden for so many months, but the team made the ballroom look absolutely beautiful and comfortably fit our 155 guests. Christine and Michelle had an assortment of the cocktail hour food sent up to the bridal suite for us to enjoy alone right after our ceremony ended - that time with just the two of us (and food) was so essential, I recommend that to all future couples.

The food was outstanding and our guests were blown away by our cocktail hour which included 8 passed hors d’oeuvres, three theme food stations, a full bar, and a coffee/tea/water station. The food during the reception was also phenomenal. For the first time ever, my 6’6 football player groom had no room for a second plate that was offered to him - he thoroughly enjoyed cocktail hour and dinner. Shoutout to May again who made sure we always had our water and favorite drinks replenished at our sweetheart table!Dessert was wonderful for those who weren’t too busy dancing or smoking cigars. We had a coffee/cappuccino/espresso cordial bar set up off the ballroom near the exit, but unfortunately not many people knew it was there since there was so much going on in that room. There was a photo booth area, table with a live cigar roller, full bar, and cordial bar all set up in that room (also where the bathrooms were located off of). I was a little uncertain if the dance floor would be big enough for everyone (we were supposed to have 175-200 guests, ended up with 155 with last-minute declines the week of), but with the DJ up on the stage and the tables spaced perfectly around the perimeter, it was the best size.

If we were to do three things differently, we would move the photo booth and cigar roller to the sun room located off the mansion entrance, have the DJ announce where everything was when each (photo booth, cigar table, cordial bar) opened, and use photographers suggested to us by this venue instead of an outside company.

At the end of the night, Michelle and the team did a great job packing up all the centerpieces and other decorations I made so we were able to come back and pick everything up the next morning. The first conversation we had on our four-hour drive home the day after started with “So, what’s the next event we can have back at the mansion? Anniversary party? Baby shower? Sibling’s wedding?”. We loved everything about CV Rich Mansion and appreciate the people there who made our day so special and would love to go back again for another celebration!! Thank you!

My husband and I got married at CV Rich Mansion this September and it was the most incredible day of our lives. The venue is absolutely stunning--from the garden to the house, the bridal suites, and the ballroom. The staff are professional, kind, and made us feel like we didn't have to lift a finger on our special day. Big shout out to Christine, Michelle, and the rest of the amazing staff who took care of us and all of our guests. I was definitely a meticulous bride, and they helped with all of my wishes leading up to the wedding.

The BEST part was the food, which is catered by Caperberry Events and prepared by the chefs and staff over at Sam's of Gedney Way. They absolutely knocked it out of the park.

We had 160 guests and the ballroom is massive, so just ask the staff to arrange the tables in a way that doesn't leave for too large of a dance floor. At times, the floor felt bare but that could have also been because a lot of friends were busy at the bar, which is in a massive side room just outside the ballroom.

Overall, we wouldn't have changed a thing. Thank you, CV Rich Mansion!

The CV Rich Mansion was the PERFECT venue for our wedding in May. The beautiful garden and patio area was worth it on its own, but the ballroom tied the whole event together. In late May the garden was blooming with white and pink flowers, and the landscape was great to have our guests walk around and enjoy the scenery during the cocktail hour. The house part of the mansion also offered great space for the different food stations the Gold package came with. Christine was our event coordinator and she was very helpful in planning all the details for the event. Kathy and Katie ran our event and they did a great job at making sure it went smooth. The food was amazing! It was catered from Caperberry Events and I was surprised by the quality since we did not get a chance to do a food tasting before the event. This was only the second venue we toured and I immediately fell in love and am so happy with our decision to have our wedding reception here. We could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our perfect day.

I was in the bridal party for a wedding at the CV Rich Mansion, September 2017. The whole evening was breathtaking to say the least. The ceremony took place outside and was set up very elegantly. Cocktail hour was beyond my expectations with amazing stations. I could tell the kitchen staff paid close attention to all décor and detail necessary. The reception in the ballroom was filled with great food, laughs and a great time. The staff was accommodating of all the needs of the wedding party before and throughout the whole wedding. Thank you Elisabeth for making this such an enjoyable night for all.

My husband and I got married at the CV Rich mansion on 9/6/20 and what a memorable beautiful experience for us and our guests!! The mansion is an historic mansion from the early 1900s which provides an elegant setting, the catering by Caperberry was out of this world, and Jenny Rey, our wedding planner, was wonderful. She held our hands through every step , provided great guidance during the planning phase, and took care of every detail pre, during and post the wedding. We would highly recommend the CV Rich Mansion and make a special request for Jenny. 😀

We had our wedding at the C.V. Rich Mansion last Sunday and everything was absolutely incredible. The entire staff including Jessica, the bartenders, and the wait staff went above and beyond for not only us (bride & groom) but also for our families and friends. Our guests are still talking about the beautiful grounds, the delicious food, and how friendly and kind the staff was.

Working with Jessica made wedding planning so much easier. She was responsive to emails, flexible with last minute changes (and there were plenty!), and helped me keep track of the many decisions that go into the planning process. I cannot give Jessica and the rest of the venue staff enough praise!

If I had to do it all over again, I would 1000% choose the C.V. Rich Mansion!

My husband and I got married at CV Rich Mansion in September 2019 -- it was by far the most perfect day! I came across CV Rich when looking for a venue that wasn't the typical "wedding factory" venue but still fully capable of all that a "wedding factory" would have to offer. CV Rich more than delivered. Working with Jessica and the rest of the staff at CV Rich made the wedding planning process a breeze. Jessica was extremely receptive to what my husband and I wanted for our wedding day and brought all of our ideas to life. She kept us on track with all of our decision making and was there from start to finish on the wedding day to make sure all of the little details we discussed when planning came to life. We are still getting complements about how beautiful our wedding was!

My husband & I got married at CV Rich on 9/7/19 and it was a perfect day! Jessica was incredibly helpful answering all of my questions throughout the whole planning process. Her and the rest of the team made the whole day go by so smoothly. Our ceremony in the garden was beautiful and our photographers got some great shots of us on the grounds and inside the house. I loved that our guests were able to explore different rooms during the cocktail hour and everyone raved about the food. The ballroom for the reception was set up beautifully and was exactly how I had pictured it. We had 140 guests and there was more than enough room for dancing and our photo booth. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience - everything from the rehearsal the day before to us heading home at the end of the night was handled completely seamlessly. After a year+ of planning it was so nice to feel confident handing off everything to such an awesome staff. Couldn't recommend more!

We loved the CV Rich Mansion! The venue felt intimate and grand at the same time. It's so beautiful you don't need to add much to it. We had the pleasure of working with Jessica, she was great! Jessica is very professional and efficient. She was so much help in organizing whatever we wanted for our wedding day, and was always so kind, and fun to work with. Several of our guests raved to us after our wedding about the service, and the quality of the food. Every single server, bartender, etc was amazing! They were all so sweet, all had smiles on their faces, and were accommodating and professional. Each one I personally talked to congratulated me with such enthusiasm it felt like they were an extension of the guest list. I don't remember everyone's names (they all deserve so much praise) except for Michelle, who I felt went above her duties in carrying my train and veil so it didn't get dirty, and making sure I was fed and hydrated. I really can't say enough good things about CV Rich Mansion and Caperberry Events.

Spectacular venue; we married on 6/29/19 and it was absolutely perfect. The mansion and garden are beautiful; the staff was fantastic (thank you Jessica and Gina and everyone else!). The food was delicious. We got married in the garden--full of flowers-- outside under a large oak tree. It was a "fairy tale" wedding.

We can't say enough great things about CV Rich or about Elisabeth. We decided to have our wedding at CV Rich because it was beautiful, original, and a little more affordable than other options. But one of the key elements of our choice was Elisabeth. From our first meeting through the wedding itself, Elisabeth was a brilliant, capable, and drama-free partner in our wedding planning. In the year leading up to the wedding, she was a source of help, knowledge, and comfort. On the wedding day itself, we felt lucky to be in her capable hands. Everything was smooth, and even the hiccups big (rain!) and small (bus of guests coming early!) were handled seamlessly. Our guests raved during and after the wedding about the venue and the delicious food, and our pictures (even on a rainy day) reflected the beauty of CV Rich and the amazing time we had there. We are so thankful for CV Rich and for Elisabeth. We recommend this venue without a hint of reservation.

My husband and I had a beautiful fall wedding at CV Rich this past October. My sister came across CV Rich while I was venue hunting, and I swear, every time I dropped in I fell more and more in love with this place. The way the parlor area was decorated for cocktail hour with the candles and our framed photos everywhere was amazing. Elisabeth was wonderful and accommodating; every detail from the food to the decor to the specific type of olives at the bar was handled impeccably. The food, which is catered by Caperberry/Sam's of Gedney Way was top notch; our guests were raving about the cheese wheel at the Italian station, the BBQ station and our passed lobster rolls! My only complaint was that I didn't get to eat and enjoy all of the appetizers, I guess it comes with the territory of having your wedding at place you really like!

Beautiful venue! Service was spectacular and food was delicious! Would highly recommend this venue.

Amazing vendor! The food was phenomenally.

We had our wedding on September 29th and it was the most beautiful day. The venue was the perfect setting with plenty of space, inside and outside, and several rooms for guests to spread out. Everyone keeps raving about the food, especially the cocktail hour. Our manager Elisabeth was amazing through the whole process even with my million questions. She listened to every single detail I told her and made it happen perfectly!! It was literally the best day ever!

The venue is a charming, warm, classic historic mansion that has beautifully manicured grounds and is quite elegant. I attended the Gala of the Century here and was quite impressed. Joanna's attention to detail is amazing! She is to be commended on doing such a fabulous job...everything ran so smoothly. Caperberry Events was the caterer. They served a variety of the most delicious food throughout the cocktail hour and dinner. Everything was spectacular. The staff was attentive and courteous. Have been to a few events at the mansion with Caperberry as the caterer...their food is always pleasing to the palate.

My son was married here two weeks ago. It was truly a perfect day. Joanna made all of the planning so easy, even answering my e-mails when she was on vacation. The food was delicious. Even though it was October 30th it turned out to be a warm afternoon so we enjoyed the cocktail hour outside. I cannot imagine a better venue. I am still getting calls from my guests saying how wonderful everything was. I would definitely use this venue again.

We threw a surprise wedding and it turned out perfect! The staff was Awesome and the venue was great!

We couldn't have selected a better venue for our big day. The mansion is a beautiful space and truly added a personal touch to our event. Our guests also fell in love with the venue.

Our day of coordinator, JoAnna, was amazing. She made sure our day went by smoothly. She was very professional and more importantly, extremely helpful and knowledgable. The staff was also very kind and professional.

I can't say enough good things about this wedding venue! We got married here in October and it was truly the perfect fall wedding. The mansion and grounds are beautiful and unique, so pretty for pictures. Joanna was very helpful and responsive throughout our planning. She really made it fun and easy for us. The whole staff went above and beyond to make our event perfect. Our guests have not stopped talking about good the food was and all the little special touches that were included. I'm so happy we chose this venue and would highly recommend it to anyone!

I loved working with Joanna at The C.V. Rich Mansion! It was the perfect venue for my husband and I. I'm from Westchester, and most of our families live in the TriState area, so we wanted a location not in NYC but close enough so people didn't have to travel too far.

The grounds are lovely. We had our ceremony outside and our cocktail hour/reception inside. Joanna, the venue manager, was great in answering all of my questions throughout the year after we booked the venue.

The food was great, the grounds were amazing. Everything just came together, and I could not have been happier with the way the wedding turned out. My husband feels the same way!

I helped plan my daughter's wedding while she was overseas and I looked at many places including CV Rich and we kept coming back to the beauty of the location, the quality of the catering and a good experience I had with the staff at a previous event. The staff was responsive, flexible and very caring. We were always treated as if it was the most important event. We wanted Latin influences in the menu and they delivered. They found ways to accomodate the children in the bridal party. The guests all commented on the quality of the food and the beauty of the location. The cake is amazing by the way, do one of their tasting if you book them and you will see.

The day of the wedding was scheduled to be hot and humid with possible rain. We were called a few days before to discuss options and we elected to hold the wedding indoors. While we were disappointed not to hold the wedding in their very beautiful garden area, it was the best decision given the temperature. The indoor area was still pretty and they quickly took it down and replaced the wedding area with the tables for the reception.

And even after the event, the attention to detail was amazing. Thank you for the most amazing and fun wedding. My daughter was on Cloud 9 for days.

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding at the CV Rich mansion this past September and the venue could not have been more perfect. The staff was top notch, friendly, professional and courteous. The food served during the wedding was abundant and delicious. The interior of the venue was elegant and perfectly complements the surrounding scenery. There was even a shooting star during the vows! It was a picture perfect day and night.
