  Israel played the ceremony and cocktail hour at our wedding and was fabulous! His style, musical selection, and vibe were exactly what we were looking for and not to mention, he's super easy and nice to work with. Thank you Israel for helping to create a wonderful environment for our wedding!

  I worked with Israel as a wedding coordinator. He was easy to get in touch with prior to the wedding, although I think he prefers the phone to e-mail. His guitar playing was incredibly beautiful. He has interpretations of modern songs that make them so romantic. He was also a fantastic choice for cocktail hour which got everyone in that relaxed party atmosphere. As a DJ he did a wonderful job of MC'ing the event and playing the requests of the bride and the groom. Overall it was fab to work with Israel!

  The music Israel provided for our wedding was outstanding. He played the classical guitar before, during, and after the ceremony. He also plays Bossa Nova/chill music and can play cover songs. We liked that he can sing in English, Spanish, and Portuguese! It was very romantic for a Sunset Cliffs wedding. Israel met with us twice before the big day to showcase his broad array of talents on the guitar (this was the best part!) and also to talk about the types of songs we wanted him to DJ for our reception. He was very accommodating and extremely talented on the guitar. I wish he could have played longer but alas people want a DJ to get them dancing. He also did a great job emceeing the reception. He brought his own set up, lights, microphones, and was very professional. We recommend Israel for any event, but make sure you use him for his greatest talent-the guitar!

  Isreal was a definitely a 5 star! From his guitar performance during cocktail hour to his DJ-ing throughout the event, we as well as the guests were impressed.   Isreal was more than just a great wedding DJ. He played acoustic during our cocktail hour and impressed all the guests with his musical talents. Our reception was held during the day and he still brought lighting, fog, and all the goodies to get all the guests dancing. I was so happy, this was the perfect day, and I would recommend Isreal to anyone.

  Dj is a key part of a wedding next to the planner because they keep the flow going. I found Israel just searching through Yelp and looking at his videos on YouaTube and just knew he was the Dj for us. We actually did not even meet until the day of the event but I wasn't even worried because he was very good at answering any questions I had. We had special music during our ceremony and he was right on que! I highly recommend his services for your big day or any event! While getting ready he was just playing acustic guitar and hearing that REALLY just CALMED me down and let me enjoy the moments before walking down the aisle.

  My wife & I trusted Israel Maldonado with our wedding Solo guitar dinner music & DJ from beginning. We never had ounce of doubt he would do great job for us! He dressed professional & did great job! All our guests were super pleased with music! Highly recommend Israel for any event !

  Israel played at our wedding reception during the cocktail hour and dinner. He transitioned into the dj following dinner. His live music is wonderful and he will play anything that you ask him to for the dj portion. He was very professional, friendly and responsive from my initial contact with him. We are lucky to have found him and that he was available for our event. He was exactly what we were looking for. Also, he can play many styles of music. We like reggae, Spanish, r&b/soul and he was able to incorporate all of that into our party. He even brought an extra guitar in case my brother in law (also a musician) wanted to jam with him. Israel is top notch and I would recommend him in a heart beat!

  I had a private 50 person intimate wedding down at Oliver & Rose, San Diego and he was a part of it. It was sensational and the easiest process I've experienced while working with a vendor (and I work with lots of them).
  
  He has such ease when talking about the details and asks all the right questions to ensure a flawless event. When in need of live music, he can whip out his guitar and add the "live" aspect part which brings a different ambiance to your event that guests truly enjoy!! I highly recommend his services as he is a very humble and gracious with his work/art of music! And YES everyone was on the dance floor, including myself until the very end as I didn't want it to stop!

  Israel is one of the most talented music men in the business. He is an educated professional that knows how to have fun and make others have fun. I found him via a google search for a guitar teacher and then hired him for my wedding. I would hire him again in a heartbeat! He is a solid performer, a great father, a forthright business man.   We hired Israel to play our outdoor wedding and reception and he was great! Friends of ours had had him at their wedding and we liked what we had heard. Throughout the process, he was very easy to work with, laid back, and open to all of our suggestions. During the wedding ceremony, he played background acoustic guitar. We had asked him to play a special song for the bridal procession, which he learned quickly, and he played it beautifully. He also played Spanish styled guitar during our dinner of paella. When the dancing was ready to start, he rocked the night with the songs we had picked out and his own selections that exactly matched the vibe that we were trying to create for an unforgettable night. We highly recommend Israel because of everything that he brought with his guitar playing and DJing that made our night truly special!

  Israel was absolutely amazing. We had a small intimate wedding in our aunt & uncles backyard & he was a perfect fit. He was a last minute recommendation from a friend and are so glad he was available. We met with him about two weeks before our wedding to get a feel for what he could do and what we wanted. He told us a little of his background and mentioned he plays Brazilian and Portuguese also. We loved listening to him play some songs for us and basically gave him free reign of what to do. He played the classic wedding song during the ceremony and then for about 4-5 hours for our reception played and song on his guitar music like Izzy Kamakawiwo'ole and other Brazillian/Portuguese music . We wanted specific songs for the father/daughter and mother/son dance which he just set up with his computer and then went back to playing on his guitar. Our family & friends loved him and were interacting with him all night as Israel was enjoying the guests there as well. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect guitarist/singer for our wedding and we are still hearing from friends and family at how impressed they were with his professionalism and talent. I would 100% recommend him!! We are so glad to have him be apart of our special day!
